## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Constantly crashes

*2015-09-23*

I hope this app updates because every tab I click on crashes the app and I don't want it to be a waste of my money...

### 2/5 — The app has bugs

*2020-08-11, version 1.4*

The design of this app is really nice and simple, which makes it so easy to use.

But there are some bugs that cause the app to crash when changing settings, and when using this on my iPad the flashcard mode (which allows the kanji to be displayed without the English and in a random order) does not work.

So at the moment this app is not very good for actually learning Japanese.

### 2/5 — No Japanese meanings

*2016-01-20*

Not very good, as it doesnt give you the Japanese words for the Kanji, only the meanings in English.

### 2/5 — crashes iOS9 latest.

*2015-11-01, version 1.2*

Press theme - boom - it crashes. Please fix in 2015 Mirai.

### 3/5 — okay app

*2021-10-07, version 1.4*

this app is good for practicing, but i think that a grading system would really help - so once you have written the kanji, it would grade it in a percentage to how close you got it to the actual kanji - therefore this allows for easier improvement and then you could even beat your score as the time goes on so you know where to practice

### 3/5 — Pretty cool, but some flaws.

*2015-11-13*

Neat, but the audio didn't work, and it cut out my music while I was in the app. Quite annoying.

### 4/5 — Really great app

*2019-08-06*

I have been trying to find a good app for learning kanji for a while and this one is absolutely amazing!

Love that you get to draw the kanji and both the meaning and reading are available.

I do have a couple of suggestions I hope you will take into account. I would love to be able to favourite the kanji I need more practice on so I can focus on specific ones. Also if both the meaning and the readings could be viewed in the flash card and writing modes this would hands down be the best app.

### 4/5 — Missing kanji

*2016-10-30*

Where is dai? It has 3 strokes.

### 5/5 — Pretty good

*2019-03-15, version 1.4*

Thank you :-)

### 5/5 — 80 kanji

*2014-03-26*

An app has 80 first kanji flash cards, show how to write each kanji, stroke order, translation. No ads or IAP.
