## What is Mirror?

Your iPhone is already a mirror. This one opens from the Lock Screen, lights your face and lets you look closer.

Open it from the Lock Screen, Control Center or the Action Button without unlocking, and you're looking at yourself. The screen around the picture glows as a fill light, so your face is evenly lit even in a dim room.

LOOK CLOSER
• Pinch to zoom up to 3×, or swipe the space below the mirror with one thumb
• Tap, or press a volume button, to freeze the picture and check your profile or the back of your hair
• Go full screen when you want the whole display as glass

LIGHT THAT SUITS THE ROOM
• Warm, neutral, daylight or a dark surround for night
• Full brightness while the mirror is open, back to your own level when you leave

MIRRORED OR TRUE VIEW
• Mirrored like a real glass, or flipped to true view: how other people and cameras see you
• Follow my face keeps you centered as you move; turn it off to hold the picture still
• A rounded, oval or circle mirror

ALWAYS ONE PRESS AWAY
• Lock Screen and Control Center control, and the Action Button on iPhone 15 Pro and later
• A Home Screen widget that opens straight into the light you want
• Ask Siri to "Open Mirror"

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Mirror only shows your front camera on screen. It never takes photos or video, has no account, ads or tracking, and never connects to the internet. The camera is the only permission it asks for.
