However, it does not seem like they put much effort into improving the app. Still buggy from time to time, and there are small quality of life fixes that could make the world of difference, such as a select all to delete. However, until someone else gets into this space I’m stuck with them. Nevertheless, works great and I use it everytime I’m at the range. ### 3/5 — Super buggy *2024-06-20, version 1.6.0* Great app for the most part, but mired by constant bugs. More often than not the trim function doesn’t work as designed (video starts playing mid-way through the new clip), and the record function usually doesn’t capture sound. Super frustrating! ### 3/5 — Auto Detect *2024-04-01, version 1.6.0* Almost great app. Accomplishes one thing most other apps haven’t been able to resolve. No need for a network connection for iPhone and iPad to communicate. Thus you can take this to the range and setup without WiFi. Only downside. There is no auto detect to record and play back your swing. It does have record/play back functionality but it is rather awkward to use. If it could automatically record your swing (voice or motion activated) and then automatically play it back and I would give this 5 stars and recommend it as the very best app on the matket. ### 3/5 — iOS17 *2024-02-29, version 1.6.0* Doesn’t seem to play nicely with iOS17. I messaged the developer months ago via email and via chat in the website but zero response. Very disappointed. Should also have a basic function to compare two swings side by side. That’s where the app’s usability ends. It’s missing a few key features to make it great. There needs to be an automatic looping of videos. Second, there needs to a way to compare two videos. Finally, there needs to be a search function. It’s a pain to scroll through hundreds of videos to find the ones you’re looking for. It says you can wait so many minutes to use it again but that isn’t true. The app works okay but I know I’ll never use it enough to justify the expense. I am so tired of needing subscriptions for everything. Been using it loads and overall find it works great and has really helped me. On a full fast swing though the downloaded version to the iPad isn’t the highest quality and loses some frames. The manual starting and stopping of recording and then having to download it to the iPad, then open the recording could all be easier/quicker. And not sure of the highish yearly price tag which could make this very expensive over a period of time. It should just be a one-off fee. The bad news is while saying they are improving the app each new revision is a step backwards and fraught with issues. Used to be able to mirror iPhone to MacBook, not anymore. Used to be able to easily draw and move lines on your video, not anymore. Now the cloud storage says it’s full when it’s empty. Now most of the time the mirrored video is blank and the mirrored app seems to freeze requiring restarting the app. Their debugging and test testing seems nonexistent. I’m very close to discontinuing my subscription. Please stop messing up your app. ### 1/5 — If it ain’t broken… *2025-11-24, version 1.6.1* This was a very good app until November 25. Firstly it used to just work through buying it. Now it needs a login on your two devices. Good luck with that if you’re at the range with a non sim iPadhaving to mess around with hotspots - arghhhhh 😤 The manual option (what the previous version of the app used to be) doesn’t record swings anymore🤷🏻 There are no instructions. I don’t count the 4 useless YouTube videos. The auto record option is overly complicated and only records the downswing. Sometimes just the pose after strike!! What was a good app is now totally useless. I still have about 6 months left on my now pointless subscription. 1 star as the video mirroring is good. Getting feedback in my slow motion swings has been the biggest change this year and my game and swing have a lot to show for it. Thank you for making this app! I’m a huge supporter! ### 5/5 — Simple and Works *2022-02-21, version 1.2.12* Works well, great playback features, reliable. ### 5/5 — Best video tool to improve swing *2021-07-20* I’ve been using the app for 6 days daily and about 4h on an iPhone 12 Pro and an iPad gen 8. The app does exactly what they say. You can use your phone to video your swing and see it live on your iPad. And it just works. I really like the simplicity of the app. For example pushing export, just exports the full video to photos. Just what I need, not big share menu. So I understand that some people would like that. Most of the issues that others have mentioned in their reviews have been solved by the team. As far as I have seen. The only thing that I experienced were 2 black screens and 1 app shut down, both on the iPad. The black screen happened when I started the recording. Interestingly the the video was recorded on the iPhone and send to the iPad. I solved the issue by just reconnecting to the iPhone. The app shut down just needed a restart and a reconnect. The only thing I would like to see in the future would be more ways to start / capture the recording. - time delay - swing detection - Apple Watch - sound of impact Another thing for the far future would be the ability to connect a second phone in a split screen. 😁 All in all, thanks for a great app!!! **Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback :) we're continuing to work on the app and hope that you will continue to enjoy using it! I was put off my negative reviews but have found everything to work without any bugs. ### 5/5 — Works great! *2020-09-24, version 1.1.9* This is an amazing app to work on your golf swing. There’s almost no lag between my first gen iPad Air and iPhone 11. Also, recorded videos transfer near instantly. Wish I known about this app earlier. Loving it so far. I do have a few suggestions to further improve an already great app. 1) Enable saving trimmed recordings as the original video not just as a new video. 2) Enable the volume up button to be assigned as the record button just how the stock camera app works. This enables using Bluetooth remotes for starting and ending a recording. 3) Add ability to auto detect a swing for recording and instant playback after each swing. 4) Not sure if it’s possible, but it would be great to be able to connect two cameras to a single device. ### 5/5 — Best training aid yet *2020-07-16, version 1.1.9* Superb. Vince ### 5/5 — Game Changer *2020-04-30, version 1.1.9* I absolutely love this app. It eliminates the need for a mirror, and you can set this up just about anywhere with your iPad and iPhone for practice reps on the go. The only improvement I would suggest, would be the ability to use the app in landscape orientation. Most of us using the iPad Pros with Keyboards are always in landscape mode, and I have to take my iPad out of the case to set it up in portrait orientation.
