The app is the best I found and from a single image I can loose hours, create literally 100’s of highly creative images that just ignite my passion and creativity to new levels every time I use it. I have had the app crash a few times - but like a handful over the years on at least 3 different top spec iPhones - no biggie I just picked up where I left off…. I have had it not save the edits tho despite going to save each one and it confirm saved! But despite this it’s truely worth every hour I’ve spent using it, that’s probably into the weeks and not days of my life. The images I use are commonly 50 mega pixels, off my Canon 5Ds and it hasn’t compressed the images either on output, the image rendering and quality is just perfect. Can’t rate this app enough, and being honest I never rate anything but just as it happens I’m in the depths of a MIRRORED photo rabbit hole. I have been for the last two hours and seems like 20 mins. Still using the first image out of a possible 70 i have chose to play with. App is now stable with last update. *2015-10-20, version 2.5* Update (10/20/2015): With the newly added ability to rotate the image in both arbitrary and 90 degree increments, Mirrored becomes even more useful. Kudos to the developer for adding this. Original review: Turn your friends into alien creatures. Make an abstract design out of a photo of a flower. Become your own twin. This app lets you do all this and more. Mirrored works as advertised, is stable and (with one small exception) easy to use. You can mirror half the image (top, bottom, left or right sides), or one-quarter of the image. Maintain the aspect ratio of the original pic or stretch the image vertically or horizontally using the easy to understand icon-based interface. Should you need it, a clear well-written tutorial is included. My only (minor) complaint is that the save function doesn't work as one would expect. When you click "save", the image is not immediately saved. Instead, you're taken to a screen that shows a full-resolution preview of the final image. From that screen you can save the image. I like that you can see and zoom into the image on this screen before saving but it was briefly confusing in that you basically have to click save twice. Perhaps the developer could label the first button differently. Instead of "save", this button should be labeled something like "preview and save". Once you get used to this minor quirk, this becomes a non-issue. One feature request would be to add a rotate option. Would be useful for those pictures that were taken with the camera slightly tilted. Or Instead of adding that, make the app an extension so that we could easily use the camera app's built in rotate function then go to the mirrored extension to crest the final image. Given this, I really like the app and use it frequently. Thanks to the developer for creating an easy to use, fun program.
