IF you didn’t, don’t say so in your advertising. If you did, offer something WAY MORE STABLE than this. I thought I treated myself right by purchasing a DMX9707S. Boy was I wrong. Wireless CarPlay capricious as hell and wired mirroring totally non existent. Is it the app? Is it the unit? Who cares! Kenwood products are nowhere to be seen in stock, I figured you could have put resources in your software updates to improve stability during that slow year. That unit cost me 849$ cad FGS!!! Meanwhile that cheap Chinese Podofo unit (randomly generated name probably) that I put in my son’s Hyundai Accent for 99$ mirrors perfectly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ### 1/5 — Kenwood DMX-125DAB *2022-04-24, version 1.0.2* As above comment I also down loaded this app which the hand book for my new KENWOOD DMX-125DAB that got fitted today . My iPhone will not mirror on kenwood for sat nav , this app is a waste of time , I will be returning the stereo tomorrow as I only got it for the sat nav mostly . The bluetooth profile on the Kenwood unit does not give an option for mirroring, so I’m sure that is where the problem is. It may not be an issue with the app, but for the money that you spend this should work whether it is wired or wireless. I will say that screen mirroring is a breeze with Apple’s HDMI to iPhone adapter though. ### 1/5 — Is Kenwood stupid? *2022-01-26, version 1.0.2* I can’t imagine a major electronics company puts out this garbage. It appears as if it was made as a joke/ grade school project. I wasted over $1500 on a Kenwood DMX 1037 stereo because one of the things I thought it could do (which they said it would do) is mirroring from an iPhone. SEVERAL HOURS during the past six months trying to get this to mirror it doesn’t. I finally called Kenwood today to ask them another question and then I asked him how do I mirror the iPhone. The representative said that they never said you can wirelessly mirror iPhone to my unit. I then read him the official page from the Kenwood instruction manual on how to mirror. He said the only way to mirror is with the cable I think he said a CVA3 cable and attach that to some kind of “Isimple” cable and then I attach that to an HDMI cable that goes to my iPhone. I told him I never even read any of that on the Internet when searching for the solution to this problem. He said I would not find it on the Internet and that is why he’s telling me. What a joke! This Kenwood unit is garbage , this app is garbage, … do not buy anything from Kenwood. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2021-12-25, version 1.0.2* Wasted money on my Kenwood steep that doesn’t mirror as it said it would. Took some getting used to as this isn’t how you’d stream to an Apple TV or a smart tv but using the screen record app the way that this does actually gives a lot more capability. I deleted the initial carplay/bluetooth pairing I have done both on my iphone and DMX957xr. I followed the step by step procedure on how the carplay was paired (wired/wireless), then the bluetooth.
