I’ve learnt more about the true history of this town in a couple of hours than I’ve known over the past 20 years living here! Really love the engagement with the characters and the way the mystery unfolds. This seemed like a stand alone crime but it actually uncovered so much more about the melbourne underworld than I had any idea about before! They had a fantastic time. So much to learn,see and do. A worthwhile activity and the game developers were so welcoming. Well done guys on an informative, easy to navigate game, I look forward to the next one in the series ### 5/5 — Millbrook Digger *2019-10-25, version 1.0.2* What a fantastic idea to build an app so true to the historic record of the turn of Melbourne’s 20th century. Obviously a time much more colourful and edgy than today. I like the idea that in playing the game you can be guided through the actual inner streets where all the crime and drama occurred while also getting some tourism done. While I have initially played the game at home in New Zealand it will be top of my list to play it again when next at the actual sites in Melbourne. The use by the developers of Augmented Reality in the game adds a new dimension for an “ old stager” like myself . I thoroughly enjoyed the historical aspects and the behaviour of the characters involved in the crime. I’m 75 and felt the game was intuitive enough to play through to the end without rushing. I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life and knew almost nothing about Little Lon and these diabolical characters. Brilliant for the visitor and local alike! The animation, character voices and music give you a complete package.
