There is a problem where if you leave the app to go to another app and then come back to MiScore, the MiScore screen is largely unresponsive to most finger presses. Only restarting the app resolves the problem but then reoccurs if you switch to a different app and come back to MiScore. ### 2/5 — Poor update to app, more complicated to use now. *2026-04-22, version 2.0* This update takes longer to load, display way too busy, more steps to get the available data. Please revert back to previous version as that worked fine and simple to use. ### 3/5 — Text size *2026-04-21, version 2.0* The readability of the app has been reduced by the new update. Needs to be less busy on the screen with more contrast and larger font size- or at least the option to increase font size. ### 3/5 — MiScore Update *2026-04-16, version 2.0* I loved MiScore up until the most recent update. The screen now seems crowded and the white background just doesn’t work. Simple is better, it’s about the golf not the app. I appreciate a lot of users will appreciate the additional features but can I just have the old interface back? ### 2/5 — Bring back the previous version *2026-04-14, version 2.0* Whilst playing, the UN previous version was straight forward, clear and right sized numbers, colours for use in daylight, quick access for essential numbers whilst playing.... more logical. ### 3/5 — GPS *2026-04-08, version 2.0* I use a third party GPS because this only gives a Center reference. Unfortunately this causes the app to act like it is shut down and it then has to restart the whole thing. If you can give me three measurements (front, middle and back) that would make a third party app unnecessary. ### 4/5 — Just a couple of tweaks *2026-02-12, version 1.12* Could you make it so we can send our scores to others. Also make the screen fit on one screen when looking at your score card. Cheers ### 2/5 — Subscription issue *2025-11-28* My golf club provides “home-club only” access to the app. I want to buy an annual subscription, so that I can use the app on multiple courses. When I try to purchase the subscription, I get “Subscription Verification Error”. My payment method hods are all current and work with other apps, but not this one. MiScore says it’s an apple issue. Apple says it’s an app issue. Given that MiScore is the only app that presents this issue, guess who I believe. **Developer response:** Apologies for the inconvenience - we will review this today and advise you. Now all the PAR recorded for the holes on my course are incorrect. Has been for months and no improvement. ### 2/5 — Need Scoring on Apple Watch *2025-10-17, version 1.11* Really need the ability to record score of Apple Watch ### 3/5 — Ok but… *2025-09-03* New to the app with my course adopting it for comps. Have been using it socially to get familiar. In concept this is good - the watch integration is handy. However I have picked up 2 issues: 1. The GPS is not reliable - inaccurate on every hole by roughly 10-15 meters 2. The watch offers distance and nothing else - can’t use it to score or anything else. This means I need to continue to run 2 separate golf apps while playing - a bit fiddly and disappointing for a paid app. **Developer response:** Hi Cam, 1. We would like to check the GPS for you, could you please advise the course. 2. We are debating regarding scoring on the watch. We are about to complete MiScore 2 and will look at watch scoring after the release. ### 3/5 — Round not saving *2025-04-09, version 1.11* Just starting using the app. Seems great but I found that all the iPhone users in my playing group, scores aren’t saving into score history. Other phone models were fine and saved. If that could be rectified, it’s a great app especially for social groups ### 4/5 — Weekend hacker *2025-01-12, version 1.10* Overall the app works ok, need to add some features. I was at my home coarse today and lighting was near by, the coarse siren couldn't be heard with wind direction and siren not loud enough, why not have the app be able to send a warning to those playing in comps on the day sent to their phones ### 3/5 — So much promise *2025-01-03, version 1.10* Why would you go to the trouble of signing up so many clubs and then not develop the app and watch products.. was happy to subscribe would even have paid a bit more as a subscription (since unsubscribed) as the watch app is so poor please upgrade (more distance info would be a great start) ### 3/5 — Chews up power *2024-11-17, version 1.10* The app works fine, and in any case I have to use it as our club requires it. But only ( and major) beef is that it chews up power; I start with 100% and am down to 31% after a round- and I don’t use the distance option. Also - just to check my handicap I am sent to a different website. Have to sign in. MiScore can see my handicap on any course why send me to another website? Shocking **Developer response:** Hi, your handicap value can only be shown prior to starting your round in Miscore as this is IP of Golf Australia which have restrictions on how and where this value can be shown. ### 1/5 — Latest update *2026-04-18, version 2.0* The latest update has just now cause the app to not even load just comes up with error and reloaded and still an issue. ### 1/5 — Text size issue *2026-04-18, version 2.0* Always enjoyed the app but am unable to understand why the ability to increase font size has been taken away? Why update an app, spruik new features and take away the ability to increase the text size? The readability needs to be improved for those that don’t ### 1/5 — Mi score 2 ruined a great app *2026-04-11* Since last weeks update the ever reliable MiScore isn’t so great. Today’s round it crashed 3 times on my phone. Out of 65 users at our golf club today less than half could submit scores. The old app if there was a score discrepancy it would tell you which hole it was and was an easy fix. Now it just spins endlessly at score submission. So you manually have to go through each hole and submit. Some players today gave up and submitted written score cards instead. The pro shop mi score system also crashed and unable to get back online the logo just spins. Mi score was a brilliant idea and success not sure why update wasn’t tested prior to release. It’s really disappointing and frustrating. **Developer response:** HI, sorry to hear about this... It does sound like there was an issue with the 'backend system' which receives the scores as well as an issue with your app which could be related to running a VPN. If you could try again (ensuring VPN is disabled) and let us know if the crashing still continues via support@miclub.com.au so we can try and diagnose it further with your assistance. Hopefully you should be back to scoring as usual soon as reported by other app users who have upgraded. ### 1/5 — Multiple Failures *2025-10-30* Over the last 3 months I have had an ongoing issue. During a round the app stops responding and I have to restart multiple times. At the end of the round partner and I agree scores app moves to signature page, I sign and it crashes and I get a failure message. When I try to restart the app all clubs and my scores have been deleted and I need to set the app up again. I have completely deleted the app as instructed several times and reloaded but it still happens. Emailed them a week ago no response… **Developer response:** I sincerely apologise, this is not the standards we aim for. No one should use this willingly. An app update within the day to resolve *2025-04-18* Had a problem with the app not working properly with courses other than my own club while on golf trip. When submitting online issues to MiScore they replied with a phone number to call CEO. But in the meantime tech support phoned me and were keen to hear exactly what the issue was. By close of business that day they emailed to say an app update was now available to solve the issue. Unbelievable personal response from company and very quick resolution to the problem. Lots of the added features like distance to hole etc are very handy. Could we add a feature to ‘buzz’ the group playing behind when a green is clear? Eg 1. blind dogleg par four where big hitters smash drivers from the tee without knowing if it is safe to hit. 2. Fairways hit or which way you missed 2. Counting putts 3. Greens in reg 4. Club selection Then all the data kept and put into the stats page to track improvement. You could also add the option to turn these features on or off so that it doesn’t get too complicated for the average player ### 5/5 — Just a thought *2024-09-18, version 1.10* Really enjoying the app just wondering if you can colour pickups as red (double bogey +) rather than white (same as pars). Just a visual thing! …..and they did!!!! ### 5/5 — Log out issue *2023-11-08, version 1.9* I run competitions at my club. And I have noticed that when members play a comp at another club, once they play a comp back home they need to log back in using the username and password. Is there a reason for this to happen? ### 5/5 — My score problems *2023-07-27* Changes to my score have made it not worth using. Marking another player who has not got myscore records my score but not my playing partner. My score is not verified unless he marks card , thats ok but his score is not recorder even though he verified his score and i signed his score off on the app. This is not what happened previously. Conclusion is it not worth having because many playing partners don't have myscore . **Developer response:** The recent changes have been brought about to assist MiScore users. MiScore users can turn up to the tee and record theirs and their partners score as usual. They then submit their own score while the card user submits their card after checking scores with the MiScore user manually. If two MiScore users mark each others then the hole score is checked automatically.
