Misd helps you discover the people and places around you that you've missed. It uses a technology we call Moments® to find interactions you’ve made with others you’ve crossed paths with in real life. As you use the app and explore the map, you'll see people you've met through the places you visit most. If you both have Misd, we'll connect you. NO NAME? NO NUMBER? NO PROBLEM! Misd helps you find them. INVITE-ONLY We're currently invite-only so we can make sure your map is filled with others who are looking to make connections too. This gives us room to grow, build better features, and make sure you have the best possible experience when you get access. We're also handing out codes regularly, so ask around if you're interested in getting in early on Misd! MOMENTS Misd is smart! Our Moments® technology places the people we think are most likely to be an authentic connection at the top of the list on your map. Explore every location you've been to, and if there's a true match, you'll find it here. Add the ones that matter and ignore the rest. Whether it's a bar, the bus home, or a work conference, Misd removes the "what if?" BUZZ See a feed with images and videos from people around you in your local area, browse entertaining posts that are going viral across the world, or comment and interact with the content and people you've found across Misd. You'll see content you're interested in and categories you actually care about. MESSAGING Private message friends and new connections. Send interesting content you find in Buzz to others you've interacted with across the app. Messaging stays private between you and the person you're messaging. Did you meet someone on the Moments® map? Send them a private message and get to know each other! CREATE Upload your own 60-second videos or add a photo and have them appear on Buzz. Change the title and edit the description to express yourself in unique ways. Others can interact with, comment on, and share your posts. Who knows, maybe your next video goes viral. What will others buzz about you? PASSPORT ID Update your profile and make your Passport ID unique to you. Add your ethnicity, generation, gender, and more. Others across Misd and the Moments® map can find and filter this info to better identify you as you make genuine moments with others. You can hide or show as much of this as you like. KARMA AND CLOUT Build Karma for everything you do on Misd. You'll level up and climb the Clout leaderboard in your local area. Later, these points will unlock cool new features and partnerships. For now, you'll earn new badges to flex across the app depending on how much Karma you earn each month. Beware: Clout resets monthly to give everyone a chance to show off! SAFETY FEATURES Hide your personal locations from ever creating Moments® with others, choose how long it takes after you leave a location before someone can connect with you, and have your profile automatically switch to private. Every screen got a tune-up so things line up, feel the same everywhere, and scroll smoother. • Text now follows your phone's text size setting. • Notifications are grouped by time, with cleaner rows and smaller buttons. • Clout rings show wherever you see an avatar, and hold still so scrolling stays smooth. • Deleted your account by mistake? You now have 90 days to bring it back. • Picking a username tells you right away if it's taken and suggests one that isn't. • Less of your location leaves your phone, Moments pins are placed by area instead of exact spot, and Settings now say exactly what leaves your phone. • Fixes for comment counts, the tour, and password reset. ### 1.1 — 2026-06-19 This update is our biggest yet! Built around sharing the moments and the posts you love. • Remix is here. Put your own spin on posts you love and share them to your feed, with both you and the original creator earning karma for views! • Post longer videos. Capture up to 60 seconds, then trim and edit your clip right before you post. • A richer comments experience. Reply in threads, mention people in your replies, like the comments you love, and swipe to delete your own - all faster and more reliable! • Notifications that show who's reaching out. Likes, comments, messages and friend requests now arrive with the sender's photo, so you know at a glance who it's from. • Smarter, more private Moments. We tightened up when and how Moments appear, with stronger privacy around the places you go. • Share anywhere. Send posts and profiles as links that open right inside Misd. • A friendlier first experience. New and returning users will get a quick guided tour that shows you around! • A refreshed bottom navigation with cleaner UI • Messages upgrades allow you to send photos in chat and delete messages you sent. • Plus a long list of UI, reliability, privacy, and performance improvements across the app. Thanks for being here and giving your thoughts on what to improve with Misd. Keep telling us what you think - we're just getting started! ### 1.0.3 — 2026-04-22 • Moments map fixes. There was a weird bug happening where your Moments weren't actually showing up as pins on the map. This is fixed. • Smarter Moment detection. We catch Moments where two of you are at the same place for a while, even when things don't match up correctly or one has weaker signals. • Nearby Moments notifications are live and you'll get a gentle daily ping when something happened near you that you may have missed. • Push notifications overhauled. Banners now land on your lock screen, with Misd branding so you always know it's us. • What's New notification on release day. Find out what we just released! • Buzz UI improvements. Cards now have more of a magazine feel with titles getting additional character length so you can express yourself more! • Fixed an issue where you couldn't comment on any cards on your Buzz feed. • A bunch of other under-the-hood work on comments. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-04-18 Moments just got a big reliability upgrade. • Moments is now stronger and has boosted its pulse when you're near other Misd users, so it feels more accurate. • The algorithm has improved for Moments and can now tell who's in motion, like sitting at the same table versus walking past each other. • The feature now works better, even when the app is closed. • Minor UI changes. • Other minor optimization and reliability improvements. All new settings are optional and can be turned off at any time. Hidden locations are always excluded. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-04-15 Latest Patch Notes: Fixed an issue with content not being able to upload to Buzz Bug fixes across onboarding and posting flows UI updates and polish improvements Optimization enhancements for feed caching and performance Improved reliability for verification and onboarding steps Various stability improvements ## Apps similar to Misd | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [VOICED](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/voiced/id6535692223) | 2.9 (7) | Free | Social Networking | | [eBuddz: Team Up, Play & Earn](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ebuddz-team-up-play-and-earn/id6449710630) | 3.7 (3) | Free | Social Networking | | [Tive](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tive/id1582227756) | 4.6 (223) | Free | Social Networking | | [The Room - Social](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/the-room-social/id6740430094) | 3.3 (50) | Free | Social Networking | | [Divine Video](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/divine-video/id6747959501) | 4.2 (166) | Free | Social Networking | | [Parler](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/parler/id1402727988) | 3.9 (175) | Free | Social Networking | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
