## What is mise en place?

mise en place is a cooking app for you and the people you actually eat with. Cook something, take a photo, and share it with friends and the wider cooking community — real meals from real kitchens.

WHAT YOU COOKED, SHARED
Your feed is friends-first: see what the people you follow are making, and show them what came out of your own pan tonight.

BITES
Quick photo stories that disappear after 24 hours, just for your followers. The mid-week pasta, the weekend bake, the sauce that almost worked — share the moment, then let it go.

YOUR RECIPE LIBRARY
Create and save your own recipes. Everything lives in one tidy library, ready when you are.

COOK MODE
When it's time to cook, step-by-step cook mode keeps you on track — one clear step at a time, so you can focus on the food.

GROCERIES, SORTED
A groceries list that understands pantry staples, so you only buy what you actually need.

LEARN AS YOU GO
A technique glossary explains the fundamentals — from blanching to deglazing — in plain language.

BECOME A SUPPORTER
An optional subscription for people who want a little more:
• 10 new seasonal recipes every month, tuned to your hemisphere
• A monthly guide to the ingredients in season near you

mise en place is free to use. Cooking is better together — bring your friends.
