### 2/5 — Nice but not keeping up

*2025-10-03, version 0.9.4*

I used to love this app back in the day. But it’s been falling apart for a while. New card sets are missing, and mana symbols are bugged.

### 4/5 — Wonderful but…

*2025-08-15*

I lose this app, the lay out and functions of the app are great. There has been an error with the different mana symbols being blanked out. The error has been there for some time without being fixed

### 4/5 — No fluff, no fuss!

*2025-05-04, version 0.9.4*

Been using for 10+ years, couldn't recommend this one enough. If you want a clean, intuitive, and quick app for tracking your cardboard prices, look no further.

-ads don't cause a problem
-prices are accurate
-extremely easy to use
-consistent performance over the years

10/10 great app!

### 2/5 — Used to be great

*2025-03-06*

This app was amazing, and frankly, I still use it for barebones functionality. My only guess is that the developer abandoned it. Most cards now list the same set over and over. For example, look up the price of Thorn Elemental, a card that, admittedly has been reprinted into oblivion by Hasbro, but for some reason the app lists the core sets over and over. There will be like x10 9th ed printings, x10 8th ed printings, and so on. It’s a chore to find the set you’re looking for due to this issue.

The other recent problem is that mana symbols seem to have broken. So, when reading what a card does, you have large “folder” pics instead of mana symbols.

If the dev comes back and remedies these simple issues, then the free version of this app is 5/5. But I think the dev is long gone.

**Developer response:** We also find the low-effort comments and memes exhausting. And are looking into ways of minimizing them. Stay tuned!

### 3/5 — Decent

*2024-09-02, version 0.9.4*

The app is okay. They don’t keep up with the current sets uploaded into the system. Such as bloomburrow. Been out for weeks now and it’s not updated to show those cards.

### 2/5 — Times Have Changed

*2024-05-01*

I used to use this app all the time to check up on card prices as they would constantly update the prices as new sets dropped and now it feels like they either just update it whenever they feel like it and I can’t see newer information.

A prime example of this is a card like Guardian Project which only has two sets (Ravnica Allegiance and From Cute To Brute) worth of information while it’s had two more printings since then.

It is kinda frustrating to see me $3 a month I give them for premium not being put to good use. That being said, I’ll be canceling the premium. I’ll keep the app around as their trending and other price trends are always active for the most part.

### 2/5 — No updates

*2024-04-12*

This app was great. Now that WoTC is pumping 24 sets a year plus supplemental products such as Secret Lairs and Commander Pre-con decks this app just can’t keep up. This app is no longer beneficial due to: No longer able to price newly released cards, Cannot lookup newly released cards, The “Trending” section is inaccurate The “Shinny hot” section is inaccurate Until this developer updates the app, I would avoid this one.

### 2/5 — Used to be worth it, please fix this app.

*2023-08-15*

I’ve legit been paying for premium on this app for years. Roughly the last 6 months to a year it’s drastically stopped working. You can look up any card, but no info or price shows up anymore. So many sets and cards are missing, the scanning function was removed, when the card finally loads there’s like 5 different prices for the same card. Oh, lucky clover is up 300%? Thanks for letting me know but not showing me what the card costs. If this app gets updated it’s easily an 5/5 star app. But until then you’re better off just googling the cards. When everything gets fixed I’ll gladly pay for premium again.

### 2/5 — Used to be great

*2023-08-14, version 0.9.4*

Now it rarely loads any card, and the ones that do load are missing images, and often have up to 10 duplicates of the same card where you have to scroll a ridiculous amount to find the card you’re looking for.

### 2/5 — App stopped working july 2023.

*2023-07-28*

App doesn’t work anymore
Stopped working now for several days. It stopped adding new sets after march of the machines. No software update in over a year. Spend a lot of time putting together wishlist and binder. It won’t add up prices anymore
I have to migrate to another app for my inventory and start all over again

### 2/5 — Back to TCG I go!

*2023-06-25, version 0.9.4*

Was a great app before countless sets / data bases were put behind paywalls. I get they need to make money, but that killed any motivation to use this app for me personally.

### 3/5 — Good app but keep getting logged out

*2021-10-19*

App is great but I keep getting logged out and have to restore purchase. Which was an inconvenience but was whatever. However now when I try to click restore purchase the link doesn’t do anything. Still a nice app for comparing prices

### 4/5 — What happened

*2021-03-23, version 0.8.8*

Was working fine. Had over 11 thousand cards in my binder. Pay premium to use this feature. Well worth it. Then it froze and now no card info anywhere and my binder says zero cards have been entered. Needs fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App is dead. No updates

*2026-01-20, version 0.9.4*

It’s January 2026 and the last set to get updated was aetherdrift from January 2025. Might have been able to keep up with 4 sets per year but can’t keep up with wotc’s 7 sets per year. Occasionally card prices will spike to prices that are not real due to a glitch —$400 for wall of blossoms fnm promo & if no one is there to fix it that can be problematic

### 1/5 — Only updates the cards he wants.

*2026-01-02, version 0.9.4*

It used to be everything got uploaded on this app but it’s clearly just what he wants now. They’ll post a secret lair before it comes out but it’s months after the final fantasy release and not one card is on there.

### 1/5 — It does not update anymore

*2025-11-08, version 0.9.4*

It does not update anymore

### 1/5 — A waste of amazing potential

*2025-07-07, version 0.9.4*

I used this app a lot back in the day. I recently readded it to my phone but it’s not great anymore. The lack of up dates in 3 years definitely shows, mana symbols in the rules text now it just shows just ? Mark boxes. Along with being behind on sets it’s very disappointing to see what the app was to what it is now.

### 1/5 — I remember when it was good

*2025-02-20, version 0.9.4*

I haven’t had a good experience in the last year. Prices are off, new cards take weeks or months. Other apps work so much better. And they still want your money. Just go to mana box

### 1/5 — Needs updates

*2024-04-26, version 0.9.4*

Paying for subscription but lack of updates with new cards will make me cancel

### 1/5 — App is dead. No updates

*2024-03-05, version 0.9.4*

No murders of Karlov cards listed a month after the set’s release? Wow. This app is just dead

### 1/5 — Downfall

*2023-02-11, version 0.9.4*

This app has been going downhill for the past year unfortunately…

### 1/5 — Buggy for a product you have to pay for monthly

*2022-05-23, version 0.9.0*

Issues with staying logged in. Issues with prices and values disappearing. Can’t organize larger collections in different “binders”

### 1/5 — Kind of Upset

*2021-02-22, version 0.8.8*

So I have the Premium and I’m not getting the benefits of the Premium. I redownloaded and logged back in and all of that and it’s still not working. I’m upset that I’m paying for this service and not getting the actual perks. Please fix.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easiest way to see what’s trending

*2026-01-25, version 0.9.4*

Great app with a user friendly way to look up prices of individual cards.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-12-15, version 0.9.4*

This app is great to use when need to find cards and prices.

### 5/5 — Love the app!

*2023-01-16, version 0.9.4*

Always my goto place for trends in cards and prices! Would love to see a sort option by collector number.

### 5/5 — Great for info lookup

*2022-07-30, version 0.9.4*

This app is a great tool for looking up cards and prices quickly! Used it at a big convention to quickly find card prices as I bought! Great app!

### 5/5 — Long-term Consistency

*2022-02-16*

I’ve been using this app almost daily since 2016. It’s absolutely worth your time if you’re a magic player with any interest in card prices and/or fluctuations.

### 5/5 — Simply Elegant

*2021-10-17*

Used this app for years. Simple, quick, and effective.
Lacks more detailed features, but for quickly looking up a card or its price this app is unmatched.
Would highly recommend.

### 5/5 — So helpful

*2021-08-22, version 0.8.8*

Always nice to check card prices and the exact oracle wording

### 5/5 — No update

*2021-02-27, version 0.8.8*

Had not been updated to account for full art cards. Multiple errors pulling on cards as well.

### 5/5 — The best app for price awareness

*2020-12-10*

It’s impossible to keep up with what Magic cards are spiking, which are going down, and anything in between. That is, unless you have this app. The developer has been receptive to suggestions and easy to get a hold of, and it’s interesting to see the trends that other people can’t see. One of the few apps I have that has actively made me money, and for that reason, premium was absolutely worth it for me. It does just scrape the raw data, so maybe there could be a way to sort by “Standard / Modern / EDH” etc, since sometimes not everyone cares about 7th edition foils spiking, but as a seller it’s been very useful to me.

### 5/5 — Really solid app!

*2020-08-18, version 0.8.8*

Really good mtg card database. Trending and “what’s hot” categories are super cool. Only complaint is that there are certain cards that simply don’t load but otherwise very good
