Sustainability and healthy organic, straight to your door. Really nice quality stuff, decent prices. Also love that you can get just a single or pair or small quantity of certain produce instead of being forced to buy a whole bag of it. But the part that continues to disappoint is the shipping. It’s not uncommon that we receive a shipment with multiple damaged items, largely because they are all thrown together into a box, separated only by the cold pack insulation. No dividers, none of the liquid items in sealed bags or sleeves. The orders with broken eggs feel like they outnumber the orders without broken eggs. Our last was delivery the absolute worst. I ordered a carton of milk (the milk is WONDERFUL—organic filtered protein milk that I couldn’t find anywhere else) and the carton was completely empty. Why? Because all of it had dumped into the box. Everything was covered in milk and dripping out. Worse, I had also bought kimchi in that order, and that container broke too. Milk and kimchi juice commingled…YUCK. Misfits is great about refunding whenever there’s damage…but why not just take a little extra effort and a small amount of extra expense and protect these things better?? Despite this, we love Misfits so much that we still nevertheless continue to order. Hear us though, Misfits—please start packing your boxes better!! ### 2/5 — I was hopeful *2026-07-22, version 3.3.31* For some reason I thought this stuff was going to be from small farms local to my area. First thing I see is Taylor Farms products. Granted everything from them isn’t contaminated but I’m definitely thinking twice about these big farms that maybe aren’t doing checks & balances. Whatever I don’t grow myself I’ll find elsewhere but not from this app ### 2/5 — Pay before you Play *2026-07-16, version 3.3.31* I get the concept of weekly subscription based grocery as *AN OPTION* for people who would utilize it but… I continued to get adds for great products so I downloaded the app. *Of course* you must add payment information and join subscription before EVEN viewing products. Note to company- if your competitor is Thrive Market, I don’t know maybe be better? Instantly swiped out and deleted the app. You must know how many people you are deterring from your company and services by this business model of up front payment. In this economy? ### 2/5 — Rough orders *2026-07-13, version 3.3.31* I really want to like this, but I keep having rough orders. Not only has the produce tended to be small, but it’s packed horribly. Canned goods thrown on top of fruit, veggies and fruit on the very bottom right next to the freezer packs and squished by all the things on top, bags ripped open with contents everywhere. I’ve gotten so much rotten/moldy stuff. This is more expensive than the local grocery store, and the selection can be odd. ### 3/5 — Price is too high *2026-05-07, version 3.3.29* Great concept, but when corn is twice as much as my local grocery store and a cucumber is 60% more, I don’t see why I would use this app. The food prices are too high that it doesn’t make sense if youre looking to save to get ugly food, which is how this was advertised. This is before delivery and fees. I was immediately disappointed the moment I saw the food items and prices. I’d recommend just getting your grocery store’s app and doing pick up rather than use this service. ### 1/5 — its a no for me *2026-05-03, version 3.3.29* i was really excited to try this app to buy food but you have be on a plan & then you have to have orders in place which i dont like at all. the app should be able to allow anyone to shop without having to have orders set for them. i cant even do a single thing on it so im deleting this account & the app ... yall mislead people when you post your ads on facebook or whatever else. ### 2/5 — Not for me *2026-04-30, version 3.3.29* The prices are high compared to the stores in my area (inland empire California) The quality of the produce is hot and miss. There are some items that are good for those that don’t have time to prepare meals. The reasons I’m canceling my subscription are 1: prices are high 2: items missing from orders (yes I contacted customer support, I already resolved the issue within the app and customer support contacted me to do the same thing I did within the app. Wasted my time and email space) 3: Irregular sized produce that I would not purchase, especially for the amount charged) 4: I have time to go to the grocery store. I wish I could include a picture of the store advertisements I received in the mail today with 3 avocados or cucumbers, 4 bunches of cilantro and so on for .99¢ 4 mangos for $5. If you shop at stores such as Sprouts or Erewhon, using this app can be ideal for you ### 1/5 — BEWARE *2026-04-29, version 3.3.29* If you add things to your cart with the intention of editing, adding and removing items later, they WILL process your order WITHOUT your consent. Do not put things in your cart unless you’re 100% good with them confirming and processing your order without you knowing. ### 1/5 — It’s ok *2026-04-26, version 3.3.29* Some of the veg only my animals can eat and I can get a better price at the store. I do it because it comes to the door right now I live in middle of a very small town I this is a little better then our market for now ### 3/5 — SO MUCH PLASTIC!!!! *2026-04-23, version 3.3.29* I appreciate the supposed saved food, but the amount of waste generated from the shipping materials Misfits Market uses is ridiculous. They use plastic insulation that claims to be safe to put out with your curbside recycling (DO NOT DO THIS! CHECK YOUR LOCAL RECYCLING GUIDELINES- I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE THIS IS NOT ACCEPTED), plastic bubble wrap bags and those awful plastic frozen packs that have that sludge in them that I never feel comfortable pouring down my sink, when shipping anything cold. Their eggs come in plastic cartons that they wrap in plastic bubble wrap (and a few eggs usually still break in transit). Our household usually produces 1 bag of trash each week- it’s increased to 2-3/week since I started using Misfits Market. Compare this to Thrive Market, who uses craft paper and paper insulation and they use dry ice (so much better since it’s just solid CO2 that dissipates into the air and you don’t have to figure out what to do with it. I’m able to compost most of their shipping materials, so it doesn’t create a bunch of extra work or waste. ### 1/5 — deleting account *2026-04-22, version 3.3.29* makes you jump through hoops just to delete the account, and they automatically signed me up for their weekly plan even though i chose the flex plan when i first started and only found out when they sent an email saying they automatically filled up my cart and were going to send me a delivery i never knew about. I thought the concept was cool and wanted to see what the app was like, very scammy business practices overall. I was a skeptic before and this company just proved my point. Worst experience. ### 1/5 — Update *2026-08-05, version 3.3.31* I will not order from this company again. My order was split into 2 boxes. 1 was sent the other delayed, when I got the 1st one, it was missing some product. The ice bags had split all over the other food that thankfully had packaging itself or wrapped. The 2nd box is stuck in a Memphis hub and it’s super hot out. It cons dairy products and the AI is arguing with me. They’ve pushed the delivery date back 2x. Please give me my money back. I’ll order again in the winter because ordering in the summer is an issue, this always happens in the summertime. It’s funny, your influencers never seem to have issues… ### 1/5 — Always something bad or missing *2026-07-31, version 3.3.31* There is literally something bad or missing always. I the last 2 boxes that I ordered I ordered for two things specifically and both times I didn’t get either of them. They don’t notify you that things are going to be excluded and give you the option to cancel. If they let you know before your box shipped that stuff was out of stock and gave the option to cancel since they won’t be shipping that would be great. But yet they still send stuff in a way that I end up with squished stuff(fruits and veggies) quite frequently, and sometimes rotten. ### 1/5 — Wildly disappointing and terrible customer service *2026-07-22, version 3.3.31* Bad communications, tech that doesn’t work properly, AI run customer “service” that makes everything worse. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-06-21, version 3.3.30* There are no options to take off your card information unless it involves deleting it from a section of the app. I didn’t want the order nor did I want them to still take money off of my card after me logging out of the app. I had to dispute charges and got charged 50 dollars for an order that would normally cost about less than 20. The order was terribly small. Either it's a scam, someone is stealing the food, or they really don't care about waste. The packages were never dropped in my building. Either way, it's all against the mission of said company. Looks like fighting waste is actually perpetuating the problem. Good luck folks. ### 1/5 — Not at all misfits *2026-05-20, version 3.3.29* The quality of my food has been too good and the prices too high, relative to their marketing scheme of offering misfits for less money. Maybe lower compared to Whole Foods, but I can get the same or better quality for less at my local farmers market. And so far, all my produce has been too perfectly shaped and sized to qualify as any kind of misfit. Further, the timing of the buying window is too slim/restrictive, and there is only one weekly delivery day offered in my area, which is far too early in the week. I prefer to do my shopping later in the week for meals I’ll cook or prep over the weekend. Additional fees and driver tip further drive up the cost and negate the “misfits for less” marketing hype. I might give it one more chance, but so far, I’m not at all convinced it’s worth it. ### 1/5 — Trash, trash and more trash *2026-05-13, version 3.3.29* The amount of waste creating with the packaging I received from this service was overwhelming. I signed up because it was supposed to be a service that picked up and recycled used packaging but they don’t and I paid $69 only to find out that I would be contributing to waste and not detracting from it.
