Not ready for prime time
We misplaced an iPhone at a security checkpoint in Oslo, Norway.
We downloaded and setup the app. The app did not allow a “Permanent Address” AND a “Local (traveling) Address”, and the country code for the mobile phone was forced to the temporarily location, rather than our actual mobile country code…(we would never get a call/SMS message)
Nevertheless, we submitted the request. We never heard back from Oslo airport, nor the app. On our return trip, we stopped in at the Lost-and-found at Oslo airport, and were reunited with our wayward phone.
The takeaway is: the app is not yet worth the effort to download and install.
