### 4/5 — Let us dark mode the Home Screen icon!

*2024-12-25, version 10.71.1*

Love Missive — been using it for a year now. It can get expensive if you have a small team but productivity is great. Would love to see a dark mode icon in iOS 18 — it sticks out like a sore thumb.

### 5/5 — The Best Email Application

*2024-05-13, version 10.63.0*

I’ve been using Missive for a while now and it’s the best email application on the market. Absolutely worth the subscription too.

### 4/5 — Great mail app

*2024-05-06, version 10.62.2*

My only complaint is the lack of widgets 😕

### 3/5 — Need Yahoo

*2024-04-08, version 10.61.0*

I’m looking for a new email client and found this one. It looks pretty well and different but doesn’t have support for Yahoo and I’m unable to connect even me puting all the IMAP settings.

### 5/5 — Best email option for our small team!

*2024-02-23*

We’ve been through many workflows as our team is growing, with missive seeming to be the answer to our prayers! Being able to comment on individual emails, tag others has been such a help for us in our sales process!

### 5/5 — Rules & Responses - Amazing!!!

*2024-02-07, version 10.59.0*

This app truly made me re-think how I use email. The rules and responses are a game changer. You will not regret using Missive. It’s worth every penny, especially if you often use email for work.

### 5/5 — Found a Hidden Gem

*2024-01-19*

I am obsessed in productivity apps. I am so obsessed that I loose productivity in search for them.
When it comes to e-mail apps I tried them all. When I say all I mean all.
Missive is everything I wanted to have and nothing more.
It is presented as team inbox but is also amazing in personal use.
Five stars. Ten points.

### 5/5 — Goodbye Front

*2024-01-10, version 10.58.0*

Missive is an excellent alternative for us coming from Front, who after 3 years didn’t seem to care about our business at all.

The Missive team helped us get setup and on-boarded efficiently, and the software itself is great - from this iPhone app to the browser and mac app. Seamless and fast. So thankful for Missive.

### 5/5 — Missive is God Tier Email & Inbox Management

*2024-01-02, version 10.58.0*

Missive is absolutely the best email and inbox management software around. And not only does it do this job at the highest level but it does much much more. For example, if you have a team, Missive allows you all to collaborate through a centralized mailbox creating a seamless environment to communicate with coworkers, assign tasks and work collaboratively on all emails. If also integrates with many other applications such as Twilio and ChatGPT. All of our company SMS come through our Missive mailbox. Soon, we’ll even have our Phone conversations integrated and automatically transcribed allowing us to keep all company and client communication in one central platform, and that platform is Missive. As a total email snob, I highly recommend Missive for your company and organization. It truly is the best platform available.

### 4/5 — Support in Spanish

*2023-12-14, version 10.58.0*

The app is great, it only needs support in Spanish. Price is also a little over the bar in my opinion as I only use it for personal use and not business use along with a team. Maybe a plan for individuals?

### 5/5 — Best Inbox Management Tool

*2023-12-14, version 10.58.0*

We've been using Missive daily for all our client communications, and it's incredibly efficient for managing multiple inboxes and calendars. It's like having everything in one place, which saves so much time. The way Missive handles emails and schedules makes work much easier, especially when you're juggling a lot of tasks. One of the coolest things is how it turns email management into a collaborative effort. We can work on emails together in real-time, which has been a huge plus for our team communication. It's also great for avoiding the usual problems people have with ticketing systems, making our workflow much smoother.

To be honest, there's not much to dislike. If I had to point out something, it would be the initial setup phase. It takes some time to get used to all the features and how to use them best. But once you're past the small learning curve, it's pretty straightforward. The dev team is also extremely responsive and helpful when questions do arise.

Missive has simplified how we manage a ton of client communications across multiple inboxes. Before Missive, keeping track of different email threads was a bit of a nightmare. Now, everything's in one spot, and the headache of switching between accounts is gone. The collaborative aspect is amazing. With Missive, the whole team can jump in on emails in real-time. This has been great for our internal communication and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Also, I appreciate how Missive smooths out the usual bumps associated with ticketing systems. We're able to track and manage client requests more effectively, without the usual clunkiness. This means we're quicker to respond and more organized – which goes a long way in keeping clients happy.

When deciding between Missive and Front for our team's communication needs, the choice ultimately came down to cost-effectiveness and billing flexibility. Front, while offering a similar range of features for shared inbox and team collaboration, was significantly more expensive. Their pricing structure was a major consideration. Front's plans, when compared to Missive, were notably higher. For instance, their Starter/Growth plan is priced at $59 per user per month, whereas Missive offers a similar plan at $14 per user per month. This difference becomes even more pronounced at higher tiers, with Front's Productive/Scale plan at $99 per user per month and Missive at $18 per user per month. Moreover, Front's most comprehensive plan is $229 per user per month, compared to Missive's $26 per user per month. Front is up to almost 10x more expensive for almost no additional features, if any!

Additionally, Front only offers annual billing options, which requires a more significant upfront financial commitment. This lack of flexibility in billing was a disadvantage for us, as it limited our ability to scale or adjust our plan based on changing team needs throughout the year. In contrast, Missive's pricing plans are more accommodating with monthly billing. Front should change their name to "Up Front" because that's how they require you to pay.

### 4/5 — Great product with outdated design

*2023-12-10, version 10.57.2*

Switched to another app that keeps updating the UX.

### 5/5 — Transformative Email Experience - A Game Changer!

*2023-11-24, version 10.57.0*

I recently started using Missive, and it has completely revolutionized the way I handle my emails and team communication. The seamless integration of emails, chats, and tasks all in one app is nothing short of brilliant.

One of the standout features for me is the collaborative email feature. Being able to draft emails with my teammates in real-time has significantly improved our workflow and efficiency. It's like having a brainstorming session for every important email we send, ensuring we put our best foot forward as a team.

The user interface is sleek, intuitive, and incredibly user-friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to navigate through different sections of the app, despite its robust functionality. The design team definitely deserves a shout-out for creating such a visually appealing and practical layout.

Missive's task management tools have also been a game changer. The ability to turn emails into tasks and assign them to team members ensures nothing falls through the cracks. It's a simple yet powerful tool that helps keep our projects on track.

Moreover, the app's performance is top-notch. It runs smoothly, syncs quickly across devices, and I have yet to encounter any glitches or slowdowns.

The customer service team at Missive deserves a special mention. They are prompt, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about user experience. Their responses are personalized, and they are always open to feedback and suggestions.

In conclusion, Missive is more than just an email app; it's a comprehensive communication solution that caters to modern-day business needs. It's helped our team stay organized, collaborate more effectively, and manage our time better. I highly recommend Missive to anyone looking for an innovative and efficient way to handle their digital communication.

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2023-11-23, version 10.56.0*

No words needed for the app itsel, its outstanding. But what's best; I've requested a feature and they were implementing it within days, released an update and even followed up with me right away to let me know it got released. 5 Stars :)

### 5/5 — INCREDIBLE

*2023-10-18, version 10.56.0*

Everything about this app is incredible. Small learning curve, but easily learned. Also, customer is one of the best. I messaged them for a suggest, got a response from the CEO with an hour.

### 5/5 — Beyond expectations

*2023-07-03, version 10.50.0*

I wish there was an option for 10 starts.

Missive is a game changer. After using big companies in the market - Missive was the best solution for our team.

We are a team of 30 people. Missive support and attention to detailed as something I’ve never seen before on any Saas.

Great investment.

*2024-08-01, version 10.64.0*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Truly Amazing App. I have tried them all!

*2026-02-28*

I was looking for a better email app for personal and work emails. The default Mac mail just does not have any real features if you have a lot of email addresses, calendars and notes. I literally downloaded 20 different platforms. All the big ones and the smaller ones. Ones that most big companies use. You can imagine the list. 3-4 months of testing and finding flaws in all of them. Missive is exactly what YOU need it to be. You can set it up just for what you need. Built a couple of custom apps to help me that live in missive now. Incredible. It is really an amazing software.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-01-17, version 11.18.0*

If your work is based on email, especially in a team setting this app is a must have! It’s a complete game changer in how you’ll work and what you can achieve. Worth every penny 🚀

### 5/5 — The absolute best thing. I LOVE using the app.

*2025-10-18*

Using missive for few years now in multiple orgs. It’s essential and lovely to use. Well designed. Complexity where it’s needed. And amazing dev/support team. Features are very well implemented. And I love the fact that there API and custom integrations!

### 5/5 — Instantly deleted my other email apps

*2025-10-04, version 11.12.2*

Clearly some talented people in charge of UX at Missive. Switched it to my default for work and personal after a few minutes playing around.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2025-04-10, version 11.5.0*

Missive is an awesome email app for teams. It takes a bit to learn, but once you do, it’s super powerful for sharing inboxes and collaborating. I’m a big fan and totally recommend it for business use.

### 5/5 — It’s like a hybrid productive tools

*2025-02-27, version 11.2.0*

This is a brilliant tool! I used to juggle multiple tools for a single task, which consumed my time and energy—and sometimes left me confused about what I was doing. With Missive, I can simply take notes and snooze emails to remind me once I’ve completed a task. This also makes our team work efficiently and effectively—we discuss what to do before sending an email all in one place, no need to mention on Slack or ping on different channels :)

### 5/5 — Best email/omni-channel client ever

*2025-02-20, version 11.2.0*

As per title: enough said.

### 5/5 — Great app with one request

*2024-11-27*

All works great. Clearly just a mobile version of the desktop app but it functions fine.
Could the dev(s) please add a dark mode option to the app icon? At night it is so bright on my screen…

Also widgets would be nice but the app icon seems far easier.

### 5/5 — The best.

*2024-08-28, version 10.65.1*

I’ve tried them all. Superhuman. Sparrow. Gmail. Mailbox. Missive — for teams that collaborate closely like ours — is a godsend. Our Slack is 2x quieter, because we’re 2x as productive without the noise. Thank you, team Missive! More more more!

### 5/5 — Most functional mobile app I've ever used

*2024-07-21, version 10.64.0*

It's literally identical to the Mac version in the best way. Idk how you can optimise one design to be incredible for both platforms but they did it.

I'm so impressed - I've tried every single mail app for managing multiple Businesses simultaneously and this is literally the best app.

I think it's so functional it could replace Microsoft teams and you could probably automate a lot of admin functions of with the rules.

If you could include intergrations into the rules engine it could probably replace Zapier for me.
