## What is Missn?

Your day is a mission. Off duty is the landing.

Missn puts your events and tasks on one timeline. You see at a glance where today still has room, and you plan tasks right there. And once you're off duty, work disappears — until tomorrow.

MORNING: READY FOR LAUNCH IN TWO MINUTES
"Plan day" shows your events, free hours and new invitations. Missn suggests which tasks fit which gap. You decide, then the rocket lifts off.

DURING THE DAY: IN FLIGHT
• Events and tasks on one line, with the free gaps in between
• Hold a task and drag it into another gap — or back to the inbox
• Personal events stay visible in the middle of the workday as an orange island
• Invitations show what they would do to your day before you accept: overlaps, displaced tasks, a late end of work

EVENING: LANDING
When you're off duty, Missn hides everything work. Personal events stay. Whatever is still open rides along as cargo into the next day — tomorrow is a new launch.

ALSO
• The inbox keeps everything without a fixed time until a gap fits
• Quick capture: "Follow up with Miller tomorrow 10am 30 min" — Missn picks out the day, time and duration
• Add tasks with Siri
• Your week at a glance: work, personal life and free time for every day
• Every calendar gets a role: work, personal or off
• Notifications for new invitations — work invitations after hours arrive when your workday starts
• A Live Activity on the Lock Screen: what's on now and what comes next
• Lists from Apple Reminders stay linked, and you can share tasks to Missn from any app
• Home Screen widgets
• Apple Watch: the arc, the countdown and your tasks on your wrist, with complications for the watch face

YOUR CALENDARS, YOUR DEVICES
Missn uses the calendars already on your iPhone and iPad: iCloud, Google, Outlook and Exchange. No account, no server, no tracking. Tasks sync between iPhone and iPad through your private iCloud — we never see any of it.

Missn is free.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.6 — 2026-10-21

For iPhone Duo: the time-of-day picker on the morning page stays on one line even on the narrow outer display, and quick add uses its full width there.

### 2.5 — 2026-10-19

Smooth scrolling: the timeline now runs at full frame rate, even with many events and tasks.

Reminders for planned tasks: at the start, a few minutes before, or both, set under Notifications. “Done” and “15 min later” right in the notification.

Planning on a day off or after hours now plans the next launch right away.

Diagnostics in Settings can measure frame rate and load for 30 seconds on demand.

### 2.4 — 2026-10-17

Afterburner: ticking a task off makes the rocket surge along the day's arc.

Ticking and unticking respond instantly, even with Reminders sync on.

Settings rearranged the way iOS does it. Accounts show where they come from.

iPhone Duo: polish for the outer display and the book pose.

Mac: times in the timeline no longer wrap.

### 2.3 — 2026-10-10

New in Missn 2.3

• iPhone Duo: closed, the quick glance; open, the cockpit beside the timeline — and half open like a book: today on the left, tomorrow on the right. Closing after off-duty time lands the rocket
• Apple Watch: your flight on your wrist — the arc with the countdown and the day's events, what's on now and what comes next, the whole day in order, tasks to tick off. Plus complications for the watch face
• Siri: "What's next in Missn?", "How long until off duty?", "When am I free?" — and "task done", "move to tomorrow", "plan my day", "land". Through CarPlay and AirPods too
• Widgets in the car and in StandBy: the flight with a big countdown, plus the new "Next up" widget with the coming events and tasks
• Events and tasks as marks on the flight path — in the app, the widget and on the watch
• Gaps take several tasks: suggestions stack from the top; while dragging, a task snaps in 15-minute steps with haptics, and the landing time shows in the time column
• A task can go onto an event — hold it a moment and the event gives way: "Here anyway"
• Plan the day: choose morning, late morning, afternoon or evening. Once the day is under way it becomes "Adjust flight plan", and if the day is full, what you pick flies to the next workday
• On Fridays, what's left flies to Monday, not Saturday
• A new launch pad; the Live Activity ends with your off-duty time
• iCloud: tasks sync reliably again; Settings has "Upload tasks again"
• Much smoother: a bug that kept redrawing the timeline is fixed

### 2.1 — 2026-10-05

New in Missn 2.1

• iPad: the cockpit sits beside the timeline, and the week becomes a grid you drag tasks into
• iCloud sync: tasks and settings match on iPhone and iPad — through your private iCloud
• Apple Reminders: lists stay linked to Missn, and what you check off is done on both sides
• Share to Missn: take tasks from any app or paste a whole list
• Live Activity: what's on now and what comes next, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
• The event that's on right now stands out, with the rocket flying down its line
• Lunch break — and, if you like, personal tasks during work
• Calendar colors in the Missn look, and whole accounts on or off at once
• Mission report on the last workday of the week
• Choose dark mode, widgets in Missn colors
• Lots of small improvements
