This app crashes and you have to redo the whole verification process. Also it’s pointless if you have to carry your physical ID with you. ### 1/5 — This, Apple will not work under the new operating system. *2023-09-22* This app constantly crashes, and will not photograph correctly in iOS 17. The app immediately crashes every time that the phone tries to use Face ID. This used to be a good app, but apparently they’re not maintaining it. It’s now just freaking garbage. ### 1/5 — Too many bugs *2023-09-20* The app has multiple problems. 1. It won’t open after the iOS 17 update. 2. App tries to sign itself out and back in when looking through items in settings or chatting with the terrible customer service reps. 3. At times I couldn’t see what I was typing to customer service. 4. When taking the front picture of my id it would capture it too fast. Resulting in multiple attempts. When taking a picture of the back of my id it took up to a minute to capture the image. 5. Follow the nose doesn’t track correctly. Overall the app is half baked. The company doesn’t even have the foresight to realize that iOS 17 was coming out and be ready for it. I am not sure why the DOR just didn’t go through the Apple Wallet. It would be a better experience. The company that made this app should just stick to making debit & credit cards. ### 1/5 — It’s glitching *2023-09-19* It was working fine until the new update. This won’t even be accepted by law enforcement and the app isn’t promoted by any place where you would use your ID anyway which just makes this an app that takes a photo of your ID and captures biometric data which makes this app pointless! Way to waste taxpayer dollars on a subpar experience especially since Apple already has Apple Wallet! ### 2/5 — Glitchy and limited *2023-07-25* I had to try the weird picture thing about 10 times to get it to work and finally success. Then I did careful reading—this does NOT replace physical ID in interactions with law enforcement. So if you get pulled over…no joy without the physical card. So please tell me why I went through all the trouble? In essence it is precious little more that taking a picture of your drivers license which is easy to do. Until this is a legit thing—call me disappointed! C’mon DOR—don’t offer all this trouble and spend this money unless it means something ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-07-03* Went through it twice including the blurry connect the dots with your nose. When tried to activate it gave me an error code. Have tried multiple iPhones and it will not scan the ID. ### 1/5 — Update helps, but won’t work with Apple Face ID *2023-10-05* Is it really that difficult to write an app that works? Today’s update stopped the app from crashing, but did nothing to fix the problem of allowing logging in using Apple’s Face ID. When I go into the settings and select Face ID, I receive a message stating that I have not set up Face ID on my device. I’ve tried deleting the app and setting up as new and that still didn’t work. The fact that it simply doesn’t open for me anymore is suspicious. Prior, like the other comments state, the app worked poorly. The onboarding process took a long time (multiple try’s) and the usability is terrible. But now the app doesn’t even open. Randomly. I deleted and reinstalled and still won’t open. I can only assume the goal of this app it’s to capture user data. Why else would this be provided? It’s not managed and doesn’t do anything. ### 1/5 — Poor *2023-09-25* The app keeps crashing!! People seem to have issues with the verification portion of connecting the dotes, but I had no issues. No complaints *2023-06-04* The app is easy to use and the setup is quick. ### 5/5 — Really convenient to have! *2023-06-03* I’m really happy Missouri is offering the digital ID option, it’s really convenient having license information available on the phone for verification or reference. Colorado had a similar application that eventually included insurance card, vehicle registration, parks and wildlife licenses, inoculation verification records and Colorado State information. Initially, I thought it would be more of a gimmick, but I found myself using it more and more to access the information I needed more easily. Whether it’s needing an ID to rent a car, travel, for verification for buying alcohol, access to facilities that require ID verification. It is so much easier to use a phone that is readily available, as compared to having to dig for a license or passport, that you may or may not have with you, typically we always have our phones with us. ### 4/5 — Dots worked after few tries *2023-06-28* It’s good but want ID in the Apple Wallet ### 3/5 — Decent Start *2023-06-19* This app does what it says it’s supposed to do. The only thing that really doesn’t work so well is the connect the dots portion. It makes the camera super blurry to the point where you feel you can’t continue on. Once you get to the blurry connect the dot section stay on the screen until the dots eventually come up and you should be able to complete the process. A little annoying but definitely progress. I hope Missouri joins the states on the apple wallet ID list. ### 3/5 — That’s Missouri for ya *2023-06-08* To be honest I was surprised to find out that the state of Missouri offered any form of digital ID, so I was happy to have any solution, period. However, the app is less than idea. The “Connect the dots with your nose while the camera is oddly blurry game” took me a few tries before I got the hang of it, but then was able to set it up successfully with a few friends too.
