## What is Mist Validation?

Mist Validation application is an internal testing tool for Mist location services. This app integrates Mist SDK which scans BLE signals broadcasted by Mist’s 16 vBLE antenna array in the Access Point to provide the indoor blue dot experience.
Using this app, you can know where the user is and can provide the proximity-related notification using Mist patented vBeacon technology. Mist Validation app is efficient in troubleshooting location related issues and ensuring accuracy.

Mist Validation App supports the following features:
* Mist Validation app renders the floor-map and blue-dot which is X, Y position of the user device on the map.
* Show beacons feature help to quickly verify the placement of the virtual beacons on the map.
