Oh and I deleted it immediately upon reading the “free” versions severe lack of features allows 3000 steps no more a day unless you dig a chunk Outta that paycheck then someone might b nice and show some support if you need it. Anyway deleted almost the second I opened it bc it was greedier than the reviews could describe.WHATTA SHAME, greed literally Rollins everyone and everything. Nikolai Creator of MistyWay ### 3/5 — Great idea bad pricing model *2026-07-18* This is a well designed app and a great idea but having a yearly subscription at 50 dollars absolutely ridiculous. A one time fee of 50 dollars for permanent access would be pushing it. But 50 dollars every year is just nasty corporate greed. Not everything should be a subscription. There are way too many already. Back in the day you would pay a one time fee for something and then own it. You wouldn’t spend 50 dollars a year to rent a video game. What I can offer today: MistyWay stays usable without paying, and one friend can gift another a year of Premium as a single one-time purchase — no auto-renewal on the receiving side. I get why, they want you to subscribe, but at £7.19 a week or you can only pay for a year (albeit much cheaper than monthly) it doesn’t really in the spirit of encouraging people to go out to walk? I am seeing some glitches - I get notifications of something in the game, but then it’s gone when I open it. Sometimes the text at the bottom is filler rather than a real description. Also the side quests are confusing. Возможно что-то тяжелое в оперативку сохраняете. Так же заметил, что не смотря на то что у меня в среднем проход в день больше чем у бота идущего на втором месте по скорости, он все равно впереди меня… Но приложение само по себе прикольное) **Developer response:** Привет! It looks bad and it’s disrespectful. Paying a real artist to do a few quest illustrations *is* affordable, especially when you already are selling customization options. Please consider removing the AI slop, I liked the app and I don’t want to have to stop using it. **Developer response:** Thank you for being direct. You’re right: the current quest illustrations are AI-generated, and I understand why that is disappointing, especially as a Premium customer. The main MistyWay world was built with commissioned illustrators over about a year. Quests originally had no illustrations; these images were added as a temporary solution while the project is still founder-funded and operating at a loss. That context is not meant to dismiss your criticism. I can’t promise an immediate redraw, but I do want to replace them with commissioned artwork when MistyWay can support bringing illustrators back. На карте 77к условно, а в личной статистике 87к. С друзьями особо не походишь, то он скачет вперед , то он безвести пропадает. Ps шаги совершенно не засчитываются, приложение застряло сломалось, две недели ждала фикса. Удаляю. **Developer response:** Привет Злая Бубка. Если зайдёте на страницу "статистики" (шагомера), то внизу будет объяснение, что шагомер считает все шаги, а "игровые шаги" (те что в карте) без премиум считаются по лимиту до 3000 шагов (не метро) в день, от того и разница. Удалила и скачала заново, как тут рекомендовали, открылось один раз, весь прогресс слетел, больше не открывается. Но, к сожалению, удалила по нескольким причинам 1. Постоянно вылетает аккаунт и подлагивает (прогресс не сбивается, но все равно очень бесит перезаходить по несколько раз) 2. Ограничений в 3000 шагов в бесплатной версии. Увы, купить подписку из рф не смогла (искать другие способы пополнения - тоже), а ограничения в 3к… ну капец, что-нибудь бы другое ограничили, вместо шагов А так, очень крутой проект, дешевая подписка, красивые локации, возможность создать виджет. В целом мотивирует больше двигаться и постоянно открывать приложение, чтобы посмотреть, как продвигается персонаж xD К сожалению удалила и вернулась к конкурентам, так как второй минус оказался самым существенным Проекту и авторам желаю дальнейшего развития!
