I have a iPhone 15plus and I keep getting a note about my lidr. Very sad . Seems to be done intentionally. Right in the middle of entering something important. People use this app at work for work purposes. I have used MICA for a loooooong time as a mitigation manager. It had its issues but it at least was user friendly. Mitigate is not and is purely a tool and extension of the insurance companies at this point. You legit took away everything positive mica had going for it and gutted it to put your own spin on what was already a decent program. Please stop any and all work on this and just tweak the older better app. I’m not one that is overly against change if it’s for the better. This. Is. Not. It. ### 1/5 — Anyone who gives it more than 1 doesnt use it. *2025-07-03, version 1.1.3 (45)* This app is awful. I have done mitigation for 17 years now. A majority of that time I preferred to use MICA as a whole. In 2017 when MICA was bought by next gear, it was fine. Now fast forward to 2025 & we have this hot garbage. Every single thing MICA had going for it, mitigate destroyed and took away. It does not offer a more efficient or simplified interface. MICA had a simple red, orange, yellow, green color code so you knew what needed attention easier. Mitigate makes you guess & has no actual flow. Not in any of the 3 views you offer. It’s clunky, slow, the sketch used to be stream line & now it’s awful & you have to hit a + sign then scroll for every item to be placed where mics had a hot bar. It’s a super poorly designed app & it saddens me that you destroyed mica. Coming back into it, the talk of the industry was this new “cutting edge software”. It’s a joke. Find an alternative and spare yourself. Maybe in five years when it’s obsolete you’ll be able to use it but I sadly never see it being efficient. ### 1/5 — worst company EVER *2025-04-02* If I could leave negative stars I would. This is by far the worst software development company and support staff since Bill Gates opened shop in his garage. They must employ private detectives to get incriminating pictures of people and use that as a negotiating ploy to force the usage of this product, there can’t be any other reason that that I can think of. Having to use this product is the worst part of my day- every single day. For instance today I caught my girlfriend cheating, my dog died and someone stole my truck, I think it was the guy cheating with my girlfriend that stole my truck. And that was still better than using this product . I’m convinced they design this software like this intentionally to please their insurance handlers because every time something fails to make it back to their windows95 data base, insurance doesn’t have to pay for it. It is simple and intuitive partially due to android and ios looking and being the same. Projects/ losses can be moved through much smoother and faster with easier acquisition of documentation. The Mitigate team brandon, clark and others have been great to work with. I am hopeful that there will be continued improvement new features in the future. Thankfully, this app is much more user friendly and accurate. Sketch feature is nice and more intuitive than xactimates use of the same tech. So many extra steps to just put in readings, The Ui is extremely complicated and unforgiving if you make a mistake. NO OPTION TO SAVE PHOTOS TAKEN ON APP INTO your device CAMERA ROLL like you can in Mica ( we know why that isn’t beneficial for us if you manage any projects.) some pros would be that it seems to run faster and they do have a scan option so if you’re in a pinch and need to use that you can (cost you like 20% battery) and seems to be more aimed at hitting program requirements. You can also email the documentation for signature through email which is great if you forget/can’t get a signature at that time.
