But, here I am. And I only have good news! I downloaded this game from a an add on another one, and honestly wasn’t expecting much. I was thinking it was going to be more or less one of those crappy games that have more detail in the advertisements than the true game programming. But I was pleasantly surprised, and believe that the ad doesn’t really do it justice! Of course, it took a few persistent adds to get me to download, but I am not upset. I’ve seen many people complain about ads, and yes, there are a good bunch. BUT! I find that the ads are significantly less than normal games, or ones similar to this. And, there are no annoying pop-ups, and relatively zero lag!! ### 3/5 — Too Many Ads *2021-02-22, version 1.2.0* I love this game and how simple and relaxing it is, but there is an ad after touching the screen just about every time. Not just normal ads, some of them are disgusting. There was one where they pulled a grub or something out a persons foot and I almost deleted the app on the spot. I can handle things like that sometimes but other times I’m not in the mood for that. I go months without playing it, then I remember it and begin playing again, and then I get tired of the ads or the content in the ads and forget about it all over again. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Requires you to watch an ad to do anything… and I mean anything! *2025-11-25, version 1.2.1* The game is fun, but you will spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing. Every action you take, you have to watch an ad. I’m not talking about after simply solving a level, like usual free game apps, which you will get. You also get them if you take too long to solve a level. Even if you click on a setting or menu item, you will have to watch an ad. If you get an opportunity to watch an ad for to get more gems/perks & you opt not to, you get an ad. And not short ones. Long video ads. I understand that the game is free and needs a way to make money to support itself, but it’s over the top and ridiculous. Also, you solve a collect gems for winning a level, but for no reason. There’s nothing to spend them on. ### 1/5 — Ads are too annoying to put up with! Delete app! *2022-10-06, version 1.2.1* I really love the game but I just can’t put up with the constant ads and there is no option to remove them! Not even the usual payment to remove them even an expensive one! Just intolerable! I think it would be fun to have an app that would allow me to create my own custom colors and make color palettes. If you wanted to turn it into a game, once the color palette was created, the game could determine if the colors actually fit together based on color charts. Also, giving the color code at the end would be helpful. ### 5/5 — Amazing game *2020-06-05, version 1.1.6* This game is amazing so fun I am totally addicted to it ### 5/5 — I wouldn’t change a thing <3 *2020-05-20* I started playing on and off back in December, I’ll usually pay for a while every now and then but this game has not left my phone once (unlike subway surfers or other time passing games). I reached level 500 today and I’m very impressed with the amount of levels. This game has even helped me irl with color mixing in many projects and has helped me understand the complexity of certain colors. Kids in my art class watched me go through 200 levels in a week (when I used to play in class every day). This game is great, even the little details are perfect- the rumble when pouring colors to the cute little origami swan that’s filled with color once you complete a level. There are ads at the bottom of the screen and in between every few levels but honestly I don’t mind because they’re mostly interactive ads that you can actually play (which tbh I’m a sucker for), so it’s not like you have to sit and stare at an ad for 30 seconds.
