In fact it misses a lot of photos. Not worth the trouble. Have ordered from them before and the items are good but there’s a bug in there that prevents the app from seeing all your pictures. ### 1/5 — Fatal App Flaw- unable to view actual albums *2026-05-30* This app came up as a top rated app and I was very interested in trying it out for our Europe trip during spring break. Unfortunately, the app is not able to show the albums created and since I have a LOT of photos it just doesn’t make sense to even attempt to make a photo album when I have to go thru my entire photo library to select photos vs select the album I have already created. This is a fatal flaw with this app as many other photo album apps allow and provide access to view created photo albums within the photos app- making creating a photo album easy. Not being able to access already created albums is short sighted and makes it difficult to move forward with creating a photo album. I spoke with their customer service team who agreed that at this time this ability is not present. I hope they release an update allowing this access soon as I would love to try to create a memorable album eventually. ### 1/5 — Poor Quality *2026-05-18, version 4.5.3* For $82 I expected a higher quality print. Cover feels like it’s gonna fall apart. Binding seems to be cardboard. Pages don’t look like they are high quality prints either ### 1/5 — Don’t trust the shipping estimator and poor customer service *2026-04-24, version 4.5.2* I checked the destination and the estimated shipping time before starting my project and was assured it would ship from Canada to Hong Kong by May 4 in time for Mother’s Day. I spent two hours creating a calendar for my grandma, went to order it, only for the app to tell me that I had to order from the Australian site and it wouldn’t arrive in Hong Kong until May 12th. Complained to customer service and they did nothing. ### 3/5 — Great company, not so great app *2026-04-20, version 4.5.2* I started putting together a photo book for my oldest child on the computer and mixbook was SO user friendly and intuitive. I got everything exactly as I wanted it quickly and easily. I thought I would try to start putting a book together for my younger two on my phone and it’s been such a headache trying to get the simplest tasks done (like zooming in and out on pictures) not to mention weird glitches where photos go in weird places you didn’t want them to go. It feels very buggy and I think I’m just going to stick to the pc version, it’s much easier. ### 3/5 — $600 for a 180 page book! *2026-04-10* App is pretty user friendly and quality good but the prices are very expensive. I know it’s a long book but $600 for a photobook is crazy ### 1/5 — Disappointed—Wasted money *2026-04-02* I was really looking forward to this album, but the photo quality was not what I expected. The printing made my skin look terrible—showing every wrinkle and blemish in high detail. It looked much worse than the digital preview. I was so unhappy with how I looked in the photos that I couldn't even keep the book. ### 4/5 — ADD QR CODES FOR VIDEOS *2026-03-31, version 4.5.0* I love the ease of this app and the different templates! Excited to receive my first books. Only thing I wish was possible— QR CODES FOR VIDEOS! I typically have more video moments than photos. How cool would it be for my children, 20 years from now, to have and be able to download videos of their parents when they were young! Especially now that we don’t have VHS or DVDS anymore ? ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-03-19* I spent my time organizing my photos. Then at the end when I am ready to pay and send my order, only I found out that they don’t accept PO Box. All our mails/Parcels in Banff goes to Main station Post Office, unless send it by UPS then direct to our house address. I have to put both P.O. I’m so very pleased and impressed with how my Mom’s 85th Birthday Special Moments Album turned out and how grateful I am to have had the support of the live agents. I’ve been using Mixbook for years for all my cherished memories but this one was extra special and Mixbook delivered!!! Thank you! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App no longer functioning with website *2026-08-19* I have made a review with Mixbook in the past regarding quality of photobook prints and feel this is the only place where a negative review will not get hidden. I have a hard time believing Mixbook has so many positive reviews after receiving three printed photobooks (all different books and printed at different times. A home printer would print the equivalent quality as I had received in my books. Although the website is super user friendly and has great designs A recent update or change had made Mixbook website and app not working seamlessly anymore with Mac and iPhone and the tech support received was the same support that can be found online doing a search. The only problem i face now is that I have three photo books waiting to be printed in hopes that some sale comes up as the prices are ridiculous. At this point I will return to Shutterfly, whose prices on sales are reasonable and print quality can not be beat ### 1/5 — Can’t log in. *2026-08-19* Log in page constantly loads, not allowing me to log in or do anything. I can promise you the time we spent in putting our wedding album together out of all the photos, not just from the photographer, but from all of our guest, brought us such joy to us. I am now hooked on making books for all the special occasions. They have easy templates that you can follow, but you can also make changes as you go. It also has easy adjustment guides for placing the photos lots of premade stickers and backgrounds to choose from. Just completed/ordered my son’s photo book starting from his preK graduation thru College. Our third book that I’m currently working on is just everyday moments taken from all of our cell phone snapshots for the last five years. I consider these books as keepsakes that my children will be able to show their children one day. 5⭐️ ### 5/5 — Excellent website *2026-07-22* WOW!
