Meistens funktioniert die App gut. Doch mindestens 1x/ Monat braucht die App Stunden, bis die Texte endlich transkribiert sind… Besonders schwierig, wenn die Videos zeitnah gepostet werden sollen…

The app has slowed to a crawl, taking from 10 to 30 minutes to caption 1 to 2-min videos. Used to just take a minute or two. Sometimes it times out and doesn’t caption at all. I use this subscription for my job and it’s very frustrating.

Non si capisce fin da subito che il servizio va pagato e l’usabilità è abbastanza terribile… nonostante ciò, dopo aver pagato, l’app fa quello che deve.

Verstehe absolut nicht die ganzen guten Bewertungen. Meine Untertitel erscheinen vor meiner Stimme, es gibt kaum Effekte oder irgendwas. Sieht esthetisch einfach gar nicht gut aus. Schade!

Does not do what it claims, unless (possibly) you pay for a membership.   It says it will render captions automatically regardless of whether you pay every month, but that’s a lie.   It never worked, not a single time.   All it did was add a watermark, comically, saying “MixCsptions” on a video that was nothing but spoken content, with NO CAPTIONS.

I contacted the app services and was told the original Apple ID on my old phone needed to be accessed which was impossible on the new one, making it a sure fee that they get to collect because I had to double pay and cancel the first subscription.  In the day of tech I should contact those in charge and get help, not a “sorry we can’t” response.

O aplicativo não gera legenda integral das falas e textos que são apresentadas no vídeo. Algumas partes ainda aparecem alguma legenda correspondente ao que é pronunciado no vídeo, no entanto a maioria das partes não aparecem legenda e quando aparecem é totalmente diversa daquilo que é apresentado no vídeo, o que leva a um trabalho tremendo para poder corrigir alinhar e acrescentar legenda. Deste modo não recomendo de forma alguma esse aplicativo

Es passiert mittlerweile sehr häufig, das das transkribieren über 20 Minuten dauert - für wohlgemerkt 20 Sekunden Videos - oder gar nicht funktioniert. Für 10€ im Monat eher, eine recht schlechte Performance. Zudem ist es leider nicht wirklich intuitiv, wie man die Schrift auch mal aussetzen kann.

I have been using the paid version of this app for three years and find it very useful.  Recently it stopped functioning correctly but Daniel and the tech team tackled the problem and solved it.  After downloading a newer update version 1.79 it now works again as intended.  I appreciate the team’s thoroughness in working out a solution.  I use MixCaptions to put subtitles on audio files of old time radio shows for hard of hearing and deaf residents of a senior living facility.  After downloading the completed file of a program, I import it into iMovies and add still photos for interest.  MixCaptions makes it possible to produce an enjoyable weekly program that is well received.
