Adam spent quite a bit of time working with me and was incredibly kind. I was able to achieve what I wanted with his help and this app and I can see it is capable of so much more. The versatility and customizability is incredible. Excellent app *2023-09-26, version 1.9.1* I use the ATEM HD which is rackmount and does not have the full work surface. This app just made it so easy to pull up dsk’s and auto fade in or out. Upstream key features are very intuitive and make it a breeze to setup a P.I.P. function. No more being locked at a certain chair. If I need to move around I can grab my iPad and switch on the run. Also records the stream which is a nice add on to use as a backup recorder. Worth the price, but it would have been nice if BMD included with their hardware. I greatly appreciate that the developer doesn’t collect ANY personal data, it’s so rare in these data grabbing times. Connection by wired Ethernet from ipad has been rock solid, I’ve not tried over Wi-Fi. Feature Request : There is space on the buttons for 3 rows of button label text but the app only allows 1 row. It would be great if 3 rows of button label text could be entered, and if the text font size could automatically reduce on a row by row basis if more characters than will fit are typed. Editable button labels for Keyers would be handy too So in settings/source labels/camera x/label you’d have 3 fields, row 1, row 2, row 3, each able to take, say, 8 characters. For example if I have a laptop, in the control room, connected to switcher input 1, my suggestion would allow the button label to be: I/P1 STAGE LAPTOP With the font size of “stage” and “laptop” automatically reducing to fit the button width. Or, not quite as nice but perhaps less hassle to program… you could stick with the current single field for label in settings but allow 24 characters that would wrap and resize to fill 3 rows rather than 4 characters on 1 row. The moment you press add, the app shuts down. Hard to justify the price tag of the pro version when ATEM’s own software for PC is free and more user friendly (not something I often say about ATEM products). Giving this software 2 stars because it presents little value beyond remote control. Comparing to Roland’s RCS for the V-160HD which is free and user friendly. Really Mix Effect just feels like another reason to dislike ATEM and its ecosystem. This is iPad Mini (6th Generation) IOS 26.5.2 This is the paid version of the app. Hopefully a fix is coming. This app makes SuperSource soar to incredible heights I didn’t dream I would be getting when I bought my ATEM. It works very well on Apple Silicon Macs, which frees up my iOS devices for other tasks. So kudos for that! It also has an excellent Bitfocus Companion module that I have grown to love and utilize every time I use my ATEM. Finally… the developer should teach a class on app documentation!
