## What is mixgo?

Why is a new language hard to read? Because your brain is reordering words and translating them at the same time.

mixgo lets you read a new language woven into English.
"It started to rain, so I opened my paraguas."
The context makes new words easy to guess. Raise the share bit by bit, until you're reading in the new language's own word order.

■ 10 languages
Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Switch any time.

■ Any article becomes your textbook
Copy a news story or blog post and paste it in, or send it from your browser's Share menu.

■ Books and signs, too
Snap a page, a menu, or a screenshot and mixgo reads the text.

■ One slider, beginner to advanced
Set the new language anywhere from 0 to 100%. Past the halfway point, sentences switch to its word order.

■ Tap any word
Switch languages on the spot. Press and hold to look it up.

■ Listen
Hear the English and the mixed sentence back to back, so both languages stick together.

■ A classic included
The full text of O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi," ready to read.

■ Diglot Weave
Based on a method proposed by linguist Dr. Robbins Burling in 1968: learning by weaving two languages together.
