## What is MixGrade?

MixGrade is an iPhone app that grades a DJ set you recorded, returning a MixScore from 0 to 100 with a letter grade, five sub-scores, and concrete feedback on every transition, in minutes. Analysis runs 100% on your device, so your audio never leaves your iPhone. The first 3 full analyses are free, then a single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited use, with no subscription.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Record your set as usual: controller, mixer, phone, anything that produces an audio file
2. Import it from Files or the share sheet (mp3, m4a, wav, aiff, flac)
3. Watch transitions appear on the timeline while the analysis runs
4. Get your score, read the feedback, fix the weak spots, go again

WHAT IT CATCHES

- Tempo drift inside transitions, down to the moment a blend slipped
- Key clashes between adjacent tracks, mapped on the Camelot wheel
- Bass clash: two basslines fighting in the low end during an overlap
- Energy problems: dead air, sagging middles, peaks in the wrong place
- Recording issues: clipping ("you were in the red at 12:40"), DC offset, harsh distortion

PRIVACY

Analysis runs 100 percent on-device. Your audio is never uploaded. The optional tracklist feature sends a short audio fingerprint to Apple's Shazam service to identify tracks; skip it and nothing leaves the phone at all. No account. A banner and an occasional full-screen ad support the free tier, and MixGrade Pro removes them.

A crash is fixed. Track lengths and BPM values were converted before they were bounded, so a damaged file or an unusual value could stop the app at any of the thirteen places these numbers are shown. They are now bounded first, and a value that cannot be read shows as two dashes.

Three controls that were bare icons now carry labels for VoiceOver.

The store text and the purchase page no longer promise an app without ads, and advertising consent can be withdrawn at any time in the settings.
