### 5/5 — Great Enhancement!

*2018-08-11, version 1.6*

Recently experienced during a Charlie Puth soundcheck. The sound was so crisp! I also logged into it during the concert - so cool to hear what the performers are hearing!

### 5/5 — Game changer for concerts

*2018-08-11, version 1.6*

Got the opportunity to use MIXhalo at an Incubus concert and it was out of this world. No venue has perfect sound quality in every seat, but with MIXhalo you get to hear exactly what the band hears- it totally enhanced my experience in the front and would have been even better in the back row. Extra cool feature is to hear each band member’s sound as well. Take advantage of this app if you love live concerts.

### 5/5 — Possibilities are endless with MIXhalo

*2018-08-11, version 1.6*

Had the opportunity to use this at sound check for recent Charlie Puth concert. Gotta tell you this just blew me away. I would pay for this at every concert I go too. The sound was truly that good.

### 5/5 — Sound perfection

*2018-08-11, version 1.6*

I go to at least one concert a month and very rarely do I leave thinking that the sound was great, especially if I end up with bad seats or even if I’m really close to the stage. That puts a damper on the experience for me. I had a chance to try MixHalo at an Incubus show and it made a HUGE difference. It felt a little strange at first having earbuds in at a show, but I got past that very quickly. I could hear EVERY note and every word. I loved being able to adjust the sound level for each instrument to make my own mix. And if I wanted to hear some more of the crowd, I just took one bud out and got the best of both worlds. This also helped keep my ears from hurting by the end of the night. I been to many concerts since I got to use MixHalo and have wished I had it every time. Highly recommended!! I hope it’s more widely available soon.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2018-08-11, version 1.6*

I used Mixhalo at a Charlie Puth concert and the quality was fantastic. Crystal clear sound. Would highly recommend to everyone! I am much more likely to attend concerts the Mixhalo is offered at. Awesome experience.

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-03-31, version 1.2*

We saw incubus with this app and it is by far the best and most engrossing concert experience of my life. You can control not only who you listen to specifically, but the volume at which you hear them. For someone with sensitive hearing, this is a must-have app for concerts. I will recommend this app to anyone who is going to a mixhalo supported event, as it is amazing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not stable

*2025-10-16, version 7.12.0*

Audio isn’t in real time and has various delay- need to keep the phone still and not move as it causes more delay and connectivity issues

### 1/5 — No playoffs

*2022-10-11, version 6.12.0*

No playoffs

### 1/5 — Tried Mixhalo

*2021-10-02, version 6.0.1*

In a nutshell it’s worthless. Tried everything and could not get it to work at all

### 1/5 — Nice concept

*2021-07-18, version 5.3.0*

I downloaded this app for a concert at Red Rocks last night. Unfortunately the app only seemed to work in places not requiring headphones, where the acoustics were excellent.
Where I needed my headphones—in line at the kiosks, waiting through two songs to buy a water bottle, and then waiting to use he bathroom—there was no “range” for the app. Also, on the outer edges of the venue (where dancing room is located and the sound quality fades) the app didn’t work.
I appreciate the concept of this app, and hope to see it with improved range as an option at every music venue.

### 1/5 — It just didn’t work

*2019-11-01*

### 1/5 — Great idea, horrible product

*2017-11-25, version 1.1*

They had this advertised at a show in Hollywood. Get the app and you can hear the bands through the mixing board of the venue. As a sound a music buff I loved the idea, but the sound coming through the headphones was garbage and the connection constantly cut out through the show. I used it for about 5 minutes but it was ruining the experience of the show and was distracting so I just turned it off. With some tweaks and updates this would be great for a show at the Hollywood bowl or something outdoors when you're far from the stage. But for a theater or venue it ruins the experience of a venue with great acoustics and completely pointless.

### 1/5 — Very bad application

*2017-09-18, version 1.0.4*

1. Requires low power mode - what?
2. Requires wired headphones - oh it's 1997 again?

Deleted it as soon as I downloaded it, not worth the bandwidth. I'm surprised Apple allowed this on the App Store seeing as how crippled it is.

Thanks.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with AirPods?

*2019-03-18, version 1.14*

It doesn’t work with AirPods. I wish I knew that before I got to my event.... a notification would have been helpful. To use this make sure you have head phones that plug in directly to your phone.

### 3/5 — Terrific concept, but WiFi connection was spotty

*2019-01-19, version 1.11*

I was so excited to try this out during a Metallica concert that I was disappointed when the signal just came in and out. When it worked, it was pretty cool. It just seemed that either the coverage was crap or not strong enough.

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2024-09-11, version 7.3.0*

Experienced Mixhalo at a sporting event. Game changer!

This technology is going change the way we experience music. Super crisp and clear audio, no matter what the speaker quality is at venues; just pure sound the way it’s meant to be heard. I can’t wait to see this app expand into every listening experience in my life!

### 5/5 — Great!

*2018-11-06*

I went to Charlie Puth’s concert this summer and they had MXhalo in the VIP package. It was a great experience and makes you feel like you’re standing right on the stage next to the band.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys music. I would also be more likely to attend more concerts if they offer MXhalo.
