No 800 number to call for help. Not cool ### 4/5 — App doesn’t open on neither my iPhone nor iPad. *2017-10-12* I’ve been a subscriber since December 2014. But only recently has the app failed to open on neither my iPhone nor iPad, even after the recent updates for better iOS 11 compatibility. So far my experience has been less than stellar. The opposite in fact. 9 times out of 9 it crashes. I can't even open it. I know this should be easy to fix. I subscribe to several other music mags that don't have this problem. If they solve it, I will be thrilled. I'm hoping the content is as good as it used to be. But currently, I have no idea because I cannot even get close to reading it. After the update the mag does not open on my iPhone at all. Instead, half way through loading, it crashes. Please fix as soon as you can. Please get some big tech heads to smoothen it out! Love this mag and would like to see an improvement. Also can you provide a download link for the cd provided or let it stream while you scroll through the mag. Hitherto, it remains unread and negates the purpose of the app. I could have thrown the money out the window at a passer by and hoped he or she returned with a copy from a newsagent instead. ### 2/5 — Where's the free copy? *2013-03-13* Very poor layout - opening page all jumbled. What a complete waste. I was really looking forward to reading this again. Why would you make an app that doesn’t work easily on IPhone? Do it right or stick to paper and ink. ### 1/5 — Blacked out pages *2019-10-25* The first time I download an issue I can view it. If I come back to it later everything is black. I have to remove the issue completely and re-download it just to pick up my reading again. Needless to say I, haven’t been reading much and I feel like I wasted my money to be honest. I asked about switching to print subscription but it seems like that is a different channel than the digital version, so that’s not a possibility. My advice to everyone is to go with print version. I’m sure the magazine content is great, but I can’t see it :/ This app needs a lot of work. ### 1/5 — Great magazine, terrible app *2018-12-25* I absolutely love Mixmag. Not the most user friendly app in the world but it didn’t work badly at first. However, 2 months into a 6 month subscription the app denies me access to my editions. I was never sent an account number ( as I subscribed through iTunes) so couldn’t contact Mixmag about it. No way of contacting anyone through iTunes either. Now can’t access any of the digital content I’ve paid for, either through subscription or Individual issues. Waste of money. Subscribe direct through Mixmag, NOT iTunes ### 1/5 — They take your subscription money then don’t send log in details *2017-12-05* I subscribed, paid the money, and then they never send you the log in details so you can’t log in to see your subscriptions. Cannot read the magazine and listen to audio on my iPad. Cannot play it on the iPhone without it fading when the screen goes off. haven't made it through the mix that pops up when you open a magazine in this format. I will switch to hardcopy + CD when my subscription runs out. Also, in the States, our new issue is a month behind, but no worries! Btw: So happy Bill and Frank are back! Here's hoping that "James" returns as resident D.A. lol!! Relevant to the worldwide dance music scene, not just the EDM pop crap that's big in America right now. The content is rich and I love it includes a mix from a Dj right on the app that is really cool.
