Picking the location is bugged. It’s so sad. You have to spend over $400 before you ever earn a free salad. That doesn’t really seem like an incentive to drive customer loyalty. Disappointing ### 4/5 — Please allow user to look at the menu before picking a delivery time *2025-07-09* The flow is a bit confusing. You have to go through several annoying steps before you can even see what the menu options are. Would much prefer the more conventional menu -> delivery -> delivery time flow if possible. ### 3/5 — Just like website, functions barely *2025-03-17* I had to switch to the app because their website freezes during the payment process. Essentially, the app is just their website rendered in an app format. It’s challenging to scroll through the ingredients and figure out the available options. ### 3/5 — Can’t “add to order” *2024-11-25* When using this app, if I add a favorite or previously ordered salad to the order, it won’t let me add another menu item without resetting the cart. Super frustrating as what should be a short cut turns into an endless loop on the app. :( ### 1/5 — Glitchy app *2024-01-03, version 11.0* Attempted to use the app with a reward twice while paying in person at the Santa Monica location and both times the app scans the code but doesn’t deduct the price. The first time I contacted customer service and was ghosted. The second time the app deducted the price on the register and again I was charged the full amount. Then the app wouldn’t close the screen with the QR code for the reward, even when the app was forced closed. I deleted the app. Too much trouble for a rewards program, which is a shame because the food is great. ### 1/5 — Bad UX *2023-07-07, version 9.5* Completing an order seems to be a pain point in development for the engineering team. Website is somehow worse ### 1/5 — Awful app *2023-06-01, version 9.2* Terrible in every way possible, doesn’t take Apple Pay, loses your orders while making them, extremely buggy and full of crashes. Do better. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in since app update *2023-03-27* Since the app update, I can’t even log in to use it because it says my password is incorrect. When I reset my password, it still doesn’t work. I’ve tried resetting at least 5 times. Says I put in the wrong phone number which doesn’t even make sense? I’ve stopped going to MIXT because of this. ### 1/5 — Can’t get refund for cancelled order *2023-02-17* My order on the app was cancelled for some unknown reason but I was still charged for it. I was not automatically refunded so I contacted the company to get a refund. They asked for my number and I provided it. Seven days later nobody has called, nobody responds to my emails and I still haven’t gotten a refund. The quality of the food has also gone down recently. I’m never using this app again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not well integrated with iOS *2026-04-26* No Apple Pay. No Sign in with Apple account. Feels like a way to gather personal information and sell it rather than a restaurant storefront. Downloaded just to use the one time discount, and will delete immediately after. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2026-01-28* Created an account online on my phone: says invalid email and password. Created an account on desktop web browser: says invalid email address and password. Downloaded app and created account there: invalid email and password. Sent password resent link and changed password AND copied password: invalid email and password. Literally the worst I was going to try you guys for the first time & now I think I’d rather never try. I just get cryptic and unhelpful “error 941” messages. ### 5/5 — So many great perks!!! *2023-03-02* I’ve been going to MIXT and using this app and have gotten so many great perks! It’s so easy to keep track of your favorite DYO salads and reordering them without having to remember what you put on your last salad is my favorite part. I love checking out my rewards and realizing I have a free cookie, or an iced tea or $10 off my next meal.
