It got stuck at 95% for a couple days now and still hasn’t completely analyzed them. This app could not, for some reason, analyze all but 5 Lady Gaga songs. All together it can’t analyze 140 some songs. If they would work out the kinks and give instructions on how to get this app onto my Pioneer receiver, which is new, 2017 AVH4200-NEX, this app would be pretty cool. ### 3/5 — Analyzing? *2016-02-27, version 3.1.0* It's been two days and the app hasn't analyzed over 12% of my songs at this point it's mixing into the same song ### 3/5 — Great app but.. *2016-01-10, version 3.1.0* Why is the volume so low? ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2015-06-03, version 2.2.8* For $4, I think the visualization presentation should be better. I like the purpose it serves, but I'd wish it had more variable effects when songs transition. ### 3/5 — No iPhone 6 Support *2014-09-30, version 2.2.5* No iPhone 6 plus support yet and this really affects the usability of the app as the songs cannot be analyzed and if you add songs to your library you need to delete the Mixtrax application and reinstall. Otherwise works fine with the AppRadio 3 and stand alone Thank you Pioneer ### 3/5 — Good concept *2014-06-14, version 2.2.4* First off this app is a great concept! BUT the app only works good for non-lyrical music genres. Basically if the song is not a radio played song it doesn't know the bpm (beats per min) in turn doesn't allow you to play the song in the app. The only way to get the bpm is on a desktop manually and re-upload the song. The mix is automatic so you can't really have freedom in where the mix takes place and most of the time it's right in the middle of a verse. The standard full length song setting, there is no overlap. You may as well just be using your default media player. ### 2/5 — Great concept. Haphazard execution. *2014-03-18, version 2.2.3* Took an hour and and a half to get thru my 1808 songs and 48 still remain unanalyzed. A few recommendeds I didn't agree with but I didn't expect it to be perfect. Analysis in settings does not work at all and auto analysis upon opening quits if you allow for auto lock. ### 1/5 — Wow I should've read the reviews *2014-01-12, version 2.2.3* I usually don't do this, but this app is soo terrible. wow. Just garbage. Im even on stable 6.13 and this garbage crashes every time. For once I legitimately want a refund for an app. (Update: I'm now on the latest 7.0.4 (or something) and on an iPhone 5S, previously used a 4S) the experience is the exact the same. Awful. Seriously the worst I have ever had an interest in. I was on my way to purchase a Pioneer in dash player specifically for this feature and I'm so glad I wasted the 4$ instead of 400$. I have no idea why this app is even available or what its intended purpose is supposed to be. It basically takes 20 seconds off at the beginning and end of a song then automatically does the same thing to another song. This app is no different. I bought the paid version of this app because the description stated there would be extra features. They aren't accessible in the car, so they are of no use to me. In addition, the app crashes every time you try to complete song analysis. So if you were hoping to use this app to DJ mix your own music library, that is also not going to happen. If you're interested in this app, just download the free version. That will include all of the features that actually work. Only bad thing I wish you can have more choices on the "play mix" and for me to choose how long a song should be before it mixes on tho the next one. Other than that this app is Amazing I would recommend this. OH and my biggest problem is why isn't the music from Apple Music available for this app a lot of my music isn't there because most of it is on my Apple Music would be great if you fix that problem. ### 5/5 — Your Own Personal DJ *2015-06-06, version 2.2.8* This app is pretty darn cool! I've never had any issues with it. It mixes all of the music that is stored on my iPhone perfectly and with their "magic mix" it mixes in songs from the iTunes Store. Awesome!! ### 5/5 — Great App! *2011-12-14, version 1.0.0* First off, this is truly a great app and worth $1.99 all day long. But, there is one feature I would like to see added (*cough cough* pioneer employees *cough cough*). I would absolutely LOVE it if I could create a playlist that had only songs I specifically chose and put into that playlist. Just like all pioneer products (I am a fan and would highly recommend both car & home products), this is innovative and definitely ahead of current technologies. It's great for me because I often like to change songs, and with this, you can set how long you want the songs to play before they mix it into a new one. I love this app. Ya it uses too much "JET" effect for transitions, but this is the first time I've ever seen something like this. I have so many songs that it organizes the Tracks by the tempo. Song information is kind of sketchy when it comes to display of my Pioneer head unit Not in app mode. ### 4/5 — Great update! *2012-12-18, version 2.0.2* ***Update 2, have been using the app more now and I noticed that the songs played through mixtrax are played at a lower volume than through the native iPhone music app. I basically have to turn up the volume atleast twice as much to get the same volume normally. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or bug. Another thing is too bad they removed the transition selection. Also it seems like the PC mixtraxs transitions are more smoother. But Great job on the app! **It looks like they listened to the reviews and made a completely redesigned app! I'm glad they implemented in the option to select your playlist and it'll automatically mix the tracks for you! So far everything works well except it doesn't support the iPhone 5 screen but it's not as big of a deal. I also couldn't find the option to select the transition sounds anymore. Definitely worth purchasing now! This app has great potential, hopefully in a future patch or update you can actually create custom playlists! That's why I bought it but it's not true because you select 1 song and it makes a playlist for you.
