## What is MK UWB Connect?

MK UWB Connect is the companion application for the MK UWB Kit Mobile Edition 2.0. It is designed to showcase several UWB demos in a very intuitive way. These demos, such as UWB Ranging, Distance Alert, Tracker and Point & Trigger, allow the user to experiment with the benefits of integrating UWB technology in mobile applications to obtain accurate, real-time location measurements.

MK UWB Connect application v1.1 is extended with Distance Alert and Tracker UWB demos.
- The distance alert demo demonstrates how to use UWB technology to track multiple UWB accessories in parallel. It provides a different colored alert for each tracked accessory depending on the accessory position relative to two defined thresholds (close range threshold and far range threshold).
- The tracker demo demonstrates the integration of UWB technology into an Augmented Reality (AR) solution. The iOS MK UWB Connect application relies on Apple® Nearby Interaction framework integration with ARKit technology for building AR experiences. The demo supports the tracking of multiple UWB accessories in parallel.
