### 2/5 — Great Gameplay, typical multiplayer garbage

*2022-10-27, version 2.5.6*

I spent about a week playing this game. It is best to split into two categories: PvP and solo play. The solo seasons is honestly the best part of the game. It is you against Al and it allows for a honest game between somewhat matched skill levels. Now obviously, AI vs real people will never compare. We all love legitimate competition with evolving strategies, reactions, and all the things. This is where many of my issues lie. I found much distaste for this game in its online form. It is near impossible to get a well matched game. I was ranked at ~800 in the lowest beginner league and I was being matched with people ~1600. The players range from about 70 to 130 in terms of player overalls. My pitcher, for instance, was ranked 93 and I was competing against someone ranked 136. Their batters were almost always 30+ points higher and I had simply no chance of competing. Every game I matched was the same thing. Unless I played against AI, I had to compete with people who were far more developed than me. Now whether this is pay-to-win or simply terrible march making, I can’t possibly know. Either way, games that do not have fun online multiplayer are not really worth the time.

### 3/5 — Good job just needs a little bit of fixing

*2022-05-22, version 2.5.4*

Alright the game is fun I got so lucky when I opened my first pack and got a 98 overall and kept getting good players. The gameplay is good but the players look a little bit weird but it’s a mobile game your not gonna get the best graphics and the best accuracy to the way it looks overall it looks good. But now we get to the issues 1. The internet connection is horrible in this game I have good internet connection in my home but it just doesn’t connect to my internet for some reason. 2. Freezing mid game it keeps freezing mid game like if I score a run it freezes I do a pitch it freezes and it’s really annoying please fix it. 3. Trading I did a trade and got Pete Alonso (93 overall) and a 89 overall starting pitcher. And I used my players for that give me the players I got and if not give me the players I used for it. Just fix this and free 4-5 star pack (see what I did there)

### 4/5 — Great game, but room for improvement

*2022-05-06, version 2.5.3*

I’ve been playing Perfect Inning for a few years, and to me it up there for being the best baseball game on iOS. The graphics and animations are much better than any other iOS baseball game, and the controls also work well. While these features have made this game one of the best, it’s lack of innovation and the beginning of “pay-to-win” gameplay, have put it behind the likes of games such as MLB9Innings. Things such as an arcade money (home run “derby”) aren’t found in Perfect Inning, which is a real shame. Nowadays, player ratings seem too high and you really can’t complete unless you pay ridiculous amounts of money for these player packs and consumables.

I feel that this game is worth the download for some one looking to play a good baseball game. However, if you want the opportunity be more competitive, have quicker paced gameplay (but still have default/slow gameplay) and more fun opportunities to hit the baseball while batting, MLB9Innings will likely be a better fit.

### 3/5 — Excellent—but updates near daily

*2022-02-23, version 2.5.2*

I’ve been a fan of the game for years. It’s got so many layers that it is hard to get board. Lately, it asks for an update so often that even on WiFi, takes so long to load. It would be nice to avoid all of that and just play when I open it up.

The management part of the game is pretty solid where you can draft team members of your favorite team. Using legendary or hall of fame members is fun too and brings some history to this game along recent team members. Being able to field a strong team does take a long time to be competitive without having to purchase some of the add ons but it is worth the build up. Overall, a really great game but the experience is soured when each time I log on lately, it takes 2-5 minutes of an update in a big city 5G location or a high speed WiFi that other programs don’t have issue with. A consistent 900GB every other day seems excessive.

### 4/5 — I like it a lot but I think there should be some changes

*2021-09-03, version 2.4.7*

Hello, I’m a really big sports fan and I always look for pretty good sports games and every time I looked this game always caught my so one day I downloaded it. I have thought (ever since then) it is a great game but there are some negative and things that should be changed. 1. I feel a good game should make it so your always doing something but after you do some stuff this game gets boring after a while. I think there should be something always going on you can do for free.2. I know a lot of games like this have some things that you can buy with real money but this I feel is starting to become a pay to win game. So I think people should not have to pay for so much stuff. 3. And this is my final bad thing about this game, is it take forever to load and update and download stuff. It should be way quicker. But other than that I think this is an amazing and great game and that the developers did great and are doing amazing with the game. So keep on making this a great game.

### 4/5 — Great game but two things that need to be fixed

*2021-08-03, version 2.4.7*

Like I said this game is great I for sure recommend downloading bu there’s two things that need to be fixed #1 problem trading: this game has trading which not a lot of apps have but the problem is the trading is awful first of all you have to trade 3 players for ONE which is for sure unfair and second of all YOU DONT EVEN GET UPGRADE one time I traded three 90 ovr guys and I got like an 88 overall guy I traded three good players for one player who was even that good for me I defiantly recommend selling your playing on the fa market instead of trading cause you get basically nothing back which brings up the next problem this is the one problem with the fa market which is kinda surprising but here it is why are prime legends so expensive prime legend are arguably the best cards in the game and there’s two ways to buy a prime legend on the fa market you sell one or you sell your whole entire team literally their soooo expensive overall this is a great game for sure worth downloading and if they fix these issues it’s an easy five stars even with these problems I considered it but for sure 9 out of 10 this is arguably the best sports game that I’ve ever have before

### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2021-07-10, version 2.4.6*

I’ve been playing this game a LOT the last two years and I can say that this is a pretty good game. I love the variety of players and cards, the different game modes, and gameplay. However, at a certain point the game can be confusing, I personally find the awaken and realize potential system confusing. Another thing that I’d like to mention is that it does eat up a good part of your battery life. Also, most of the time, there is a glitch in the graphics where part of a player’s body will move several inches away from the player, or at the end of a game when a pitcher “hugs” a catcher but actually hugs thin air. One last thing that I’m going to mention is that the play-by-play is very repetitive and vague. On the other hand, there’s a lot of good things to say about this game. The game receives updates pretty consistently, which bring fresh content. Overall I’d say there is room for improvement for this game, but it is my #1 choice for a mobile baseball game.

### 2/5 — Scam app + Rigged

*2021-06-02, version 2.4.5*

Ive had MLB PI for two years now and play it all the time with my friends when we are bored and need something to do, however, this game is clearly rigged. I play seasons mode when im bored, and the gold and diamond rewards after games are so blatantly rigged its crazy. I played a full season and only got 10 diamonds. Keep in mind, i won 115 games. The system is clearly rigged against getting diamonds after games, and they try and mooch your money off it. I finally gave in and purchased a 5$ weekly bundle, however I was scammed. When i went to pay, Apple said my purchase was successful. I open the app to redeem rewards, and im met with a stupid error screen. I was charged for my payment and am still stuck on this screen. Its ashame a game that can be so fun has to be ruined by greedy developers, so i wont be spending another penny on your game and have informed my friends not to either.

### 3/5 — Stop the cheaters...

*2021-04-03, version 2.4.4*

and I’ll give this game a 5....

New players...beware of batters on opposing teams who do a jerking type of motion....that is a sign that the player has manipulated the game and can hit any ball no matter how far out of the strike zone....if I ever had to start over with a new team and they hadn’t rectified the cheating, I think I would quit the game..
The positive are keeping your team season after season and the ability to play other players in actual time...
Also the almost impossibility to rank players can upset you if you spent some money on a bundle and cant even rank up one player....only this season have I had success ranking up multiple players and that was during the ranking event where every ranking material was worth x3, but those type of events happen every blue moon, normally your ranking material gives you a 25 to 30% chance of ranking success witch means....almost impossible

### 2/5 — Good game, but a lot of problems

*2021-01-14, version 2.4.1*

This is a good game, I’ve been playing it for a few years now, but I’m pretty much at my wits end with this game. I’m an S player,And I’m continually getting matched up with S+ players or better and my ranking has fallen. I just finished playing in A player, and I was beat 5-3, it’s becoming impossible to hit on this game. I can line up a pitch perfectly, I have it on the red circle with a player ranking 125 hit the ball, and it flies out to centerfielder or right field or pops up to the infield. It’s also impossible to rank your players up, and there’s no rhyme or reason as to why a player ranks up or doesn’t rank up. The training is out of whack, you can have a score of 93 for running and 124 powered, and when you do the random training it’ll give you 3 points for power instead of putting those on running. And what’s up with these boost tickets? It doesn’t tell you anywhere how to use them or what they are there for, I have a ton of these boost tickets just sitting in my inventory and have no idea how to use them, nor can I find anywhere that explains what you’re supposed to do with them. I really am fed up with this game, I’m gonna take a few days off from playing this game, and think about deleting this app!

**Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for the feedback! Don't forget to join the MLB Perfect Inning Discord to learn more about the game and participate in events where you can win rewards to boost up your team!

### 3/5 — fix boosting players and predetermined plays

*2020-11-11, version 2.3.9*

Absolutely great game! great game to play except when it comes to boosting your players and always getting those predetermined plays during season games. ever since the halloween update a week or so ago, it seems like you have to empty out your player storage just to boost a player ONE level! It just takes so much experience to boost a player now. I mean you can’t even boost a 90 ovr one level anymore because it takes SO much experience to boost them. If that could be adjusted a bit, that’d be very much appreciated. Secondly, when playing in season games by yourself, I find it very frustrating whenever you hit a ground ball and no matter how fast your runner is, the batter will always be out. It could be the slowest rolling ball to 3rd base the world has ever seen, and the batter could have 140 run, and they would still get out. if you could fix the predetermined plays like that, that would also be very appreciated.

### 3/5 — Useless maintenance mode galore

*2020-08-28, version 2.3.7*

WOW!!!! This game doesn’t go a single night without going into maintenance mode and for what it fixes remains a mystery. I love to play this game and I think the animations and actual gameplay is awesome. However, some of the gameplay scenes are simply inaccurate! Once I was playing my cousin in an exhibition game and instead of his short stop throwing the ball to first he ran all the way from the other side of second base to first base to attempt to get the out and most definitely was not successful. Another scene that is annoying that I frequently come across is when the ball is 2 feet from the pitchers mound yet the first basemen comes all the way over to pick up the ball leaving the pitcher to outrace the runner to the bag. I think this game is great for people seeking to just play baseball and build a team/ franchise but I will warn you that if you play against friends there are many glitches and lags.

### 4/5 — Good but some flaws

*2020-08-26, version 2.3.5*

I think the gameplay is good but there are some problems. First I think the strike zone is a little bigger than what it should be. Second it doesn’t feel like the ratings of the player matter on defense. For example, there are some times where my infielders may make an off throw to first. However, my first baseman is always able to make the play even though I have a low ranked first baseman. Realistically, the ball should get away from my first baseman and he shouldn’t always make the play because he has low defensive skills. I think the defensive abilities of your players are not reflective of their ratings.

My biggest problem with the game is with the ratings of the players. Why should it be that average players have really high ratings that are the same as some of the better players? I think this needs to be changed to make the game more realistic.

### 4/5 — Great game but few things to make it the best baseball game

*2020-06-10, version 2.3.2*

This game is so much fun, I have been playing since launch. I play with my friend everyday. I love the interaction with other GMs. But there are a few issues. First, please reduce the amount of dives for an easy play. Second, the ground rule double animation just randomly freezes from time to time, please fix that. Third, add new phrases to the announcer and please say the players name. Fourth, add home run distance, when I hit a no doubt shot I want to know how far I hit it. Fifth, please add more details on jerseys, possibly wrinkles or dirt when a player slides. Sixth, please add whether to the game. It would be so cool to play at Fenway in October with true New England weather. Seventh, and my final gripe, please add real fans to the game. It would be incredible to hear let’s go team when it’s the bottom of the ninth looking for a walk off. Perfect inning is great but with these changes it would be the best baseball game ever, hands down.

### 4/5 — Created player “ghost” issues (UPDATED)

*2020-05-08, version 2.3.2*

Update to my update:
As a man of my word, I raised the star value since issues were corrected. My next question is, who does your game matching algorithms? Who ever it is, needs help. I just had a “live battle simulation” game where my opponent had no player less than around 140, while my HIGHEST player is only like 105. What kind of sick individual sets that up?

Update:
Well, maybe lack thereof. Either nobody is reading these posts, or maybe just don’t care. Yes, I know there is this “horrendous” virus going around, and people are working from home, if able to work at all. Maybe someone could at least acknowledge some of the posts on here, if anything, just to let us know you are working on it? This rating will improve with a really odd glitch. I tried the new “Create A Player” function, added my player to my team (even though he is only a 70 and my lowest batter is mid 90’s.) When I start my time at bat, I all of a sudden have 2 white bats above the inside and outside black of the plate above the strike zone. They proceed to stay there the rest of the game. Then when my player comes to the plate, HE HAS NO BAT OR HANDS!!! I guess a bat wouldn’t do much good if I have no hands. This is the only player that does this. Is there a way to reattach my hands? Not sure team Dr is qualified for this surgery.

### 4/5 — Great Game, Some Bugs

*2020-04-04, version 2.3.1*

This is easily my favorite game on the internet and I have been playing for years. I love that it has allowed us to keep our same team from year to year but update the players to keep it competitive. I also love that you can play other people in live battles in real time without having to wait for them to take turns. It also has the best gameplay around. By making it harder to hit than most apps, especially in the live battles it really captures what baseball is about unlike in some games where you can hit a home run essentially every time. My only problem with the app is that there are some bugs that need to be fixed. For example since the new 2020 update the app has just randomly force closed while I am in the play modes and today it got so bad that I couldn’t even complete the daily missions because it wouldn’t even let me in the play modes. I am not sure if this is a problem with the game, the high traffic from the start of the new season, or heaven forbid something with my phone but it has been extremely annoying and has cost me multiple wins and in game rewards. Another smaller problem that I have with the game is when I receive notifications from my phone such as the battery level the game logs me out of live battle. This also occurs if I try to check the time at the top of my screen. Overall though it is a great game and I hope that you get back to me to help me understand the issues that I have been having.

### 4/5 — 😂😂

*2019-09-29, version 2.2.2*

Gotta love when there is 1 out already and you get a double play to make 3 outs and yet it allows them to stay on base and still get a point on a 3 out instead of changing sides. And oh yeah let’s not forget players jumping in the air and moving half way across the game to make a catch while they are mid air. But the best part of it all is when a person hits a home run on a intentional walk!!! Spend money in game on a game that is full of so many bugs will makes you wish this game would be flagged and taken off the App Store. Ohhhhh forgot to mention how I can’t sub any players either if I could give it a 3rd of a star I would and how every Asian person I play seems to be hacking this game so easy and exploiting tf out of it. More games I play makes me want this game taken down how do you get called out when you guy is standing on a base more then 2 secs before the catch the ball or how you can just start the game and have every elite player in the game and yet the persons a lvl between 1-5 😂😂😂😂😂 and again it’s only ever the Japanese players 💀 please take this game down til you can work out your failures and bugs!

### 3/5 — Gameplay is great, matchmaking not so much

*2019-06-04, version 2.1.7*

As the title states, the gameplay mechanics and graphics are outstanding. However, the matchmaking is this game makes utter nonsense. Being that there are two pvp modes within the game all with varying levels of tiers shouldn't there be some distinction in your opponents? Not in this game. Starting out you'll be facing off against teams whose ratings are sometimes 3 tiers above yours. This limits your ability to earn rewards and make your team more competitive. Additionally, the AI that controls your team during the match ups appear to be powered by a grade schooler. They completely ignore player stats and randomize the entire event. The single player seasons leaves much to be desired with its limited rewards system even at the higher levels. Who wants to play 162 games just for 50k gp? Lord knows I don't, however heaven forbid you Sim against the AI and your team, despite being higher ranked decides they are on strike and play like a little leaguers. Overall this game is a good time waster, however it is most certainly geared towards the pay-to-win, cash generating mobile gaming scene.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Do not get invested

*2020-12-04, version 2.4.1*

I have played this game since it came out and the one before it. The people in charge of this game constantly make changes to the game. Telling everyone that they are to make a better gaming experience the reality is though they make these changes just to reset the progress of your team so you will spend more. Issues will go on forever with the game play with little acknowledgement. False information is given to the players to lure them in to making moves they wouldn’t otherwise make. The game is plagued with last minute updates conveniently during the closing hours of contests when you would want to cash in your rewards. I didn’t think it was possible for a company to be so blatantly deceptive. I don’t think that mlb should lend them licensing anymore. It reflects badly on them as well. Overall the game can be fun but unless you are only a casual player that doesn’t care about winning I would stay away. It’s so disheartening to grind away for awards and spend money for player upgrades just to see players instantly have fully ranked and upgraded teams post update. The only way that happens is by cheating. Allowing that culture just makes for a toxic experience.

### 1/5 — Pay to win

*2020-02-01, version 2.2.6*

I understand that people enjoy this game, but your match making system is garbage, I have a high over all team and I’m still getting matched up with brand new players and I absolutely destroy them, and the only way for people to get good fast is if they pay lots of money to get diamonds(way over priced) 2.99 for 90? Cmon that’s only 3 failed boosts (30 per fail) otherwise they have to sit with a downgraded player for taking the risco to boost. What happened to opening packs with coins? Now you have to wait for them to give out promo diamonds. And 1000 for S grade coach is 100$ worth of diamonds. This game is so pay to win its unbelievable. And they shove their “deals” down your throat every time you click on the store to claim your free item every 3 hrs. People who start can’t get food in a month or two. I took me at least 1-2 years to even grind my way to where I am now, and even I bout a few things here and there. I don’t recommend for people who don’t have the patience. I love this game but your pay to win methods are to the extrema and it needs to be fixed. And your boosting for players is so bad, 75% chance fails 3 times in a row???? How?!? I’ve Have players fail with a 99% chance. HOW? Those are the 3 major problems. Your player boosting is inconsistent, your game is very much pay to win and not a casual grind, and the value of your diamonds or “deals” are way over priced! I would leave a better review if fixed but till then it stands.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2019-12-28, version 2.2.5*

This game had so much potential. For a while it really was one of the best MLB games out there. I don’t know what the developers have been doing to allow this game to achieve the level of broken that it is. This game is trash. There is no skill gap involved, it’s essentially pay to play. Matchmaking is absolutely atrocious, I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve came up against S or higher tier ranked teams when my team itself is only an A. You can only imagine the frustration that no matter how well I pitched or batted, it all came down to player overalls in which I could do nothing about. Lag compensation is non existent, I’ve played over 50+ games where I either struck out or hit groundouts for 3 innings because the game was awfully laggy. The game also doesn’t allow you to exclusively connect with people in your geographic region so I’ll be playing against someone who lives in Japan or Korea when I’m in North America. Wish the devs of this game could fix gameplay problems instead of just rebranding their app every year. Would not recommend to anyone.

### 1/5 — No point

*2019-06-29, version 2.1.8*

A year ago I used to play 10 online games a day and was always active. There is no longer any point to grind and try to upgrade and rank up ur players when people just drop money on legends that NO OTHER cards can compete with. Where’s the motivation to grind everyday if u know some 10 year old with his moms card could beat u every time. Especially with the splitter pitch but I’m not getting into that. I’m sorry but with all the glitches(game costing glitches) this game is not worth all the money it costs to have the best team in the game. I love how this game is always releasing new cards even though they all pretty much the same but that’s over shadowed by the fact that anyone could spend 5-10 dollars on any legend with stats that undoubtedly make them the best at their position. Players with stats like 100 BASE POWER or velocity at 99 as a +1 are just unbeatable. Simply drop more money to rank them all the way up and ur automatically top 10 in the game it’s like u don’t even have to actually be good at the game from learning, making mistakes, and toms of grinding/ practice. The only way to be able to compete in this game and keep up with the best is to spend money. It’s reasons like this that I wish we could go back to perfect inning 14,15, and 16. Thanks for reading all of this if you actually did.

### 1/5 — Too much of a money grab

*2019-03-24, version 2.1.3*

I have played this game since Perfect Inning Live and after this latest update, I have to say that I am done with it. From the beginning it was obvious that this game will be a slow money grab with new and higher ranked player card being slowly rolled out as each season rolls on. From the introduction of perfect Inning Live, it we were already told that the rank of player ranged from 40 to 150, yet at the beginning no player was rank above 80. Slowly, higher ranked player cards were introduced during the season, with each round of new cards costing more and more and it is very difficult to build up your team without spending many. The developer then charges exorbitant amount of money for any type of upgrade, even the packages. Yearly refreshes also introduces additional complexity to building up your player cards with exceeding lower success percentages in order to milk more money from the player. I don’t mind paying some money to build up my team but when paying is the only way, it is time to stop. Don’t fall into the trip set by Gamevil!!!

### 1/5 — Scam

*2019-03-10, version 2.1.3*

Every feature in this game is to get you to spend in game currency until you run out and have to buy more will real currency so you can improve after getting screwed on a pack or boost. This game no longer allows you to buy special edition packs with diamonds it only allows you to pay $6.99+ for one player. Real life example of how this game eats up your resources: I wanted to boost my Jacob Degrom the other day, so I gathered the players with values adding up to 500 million (which is generally a lot in this game) and used an A grade boost trainer to get the boost success rate of 70% (Pretty high for a +5 boost). The boost failed and I wasn’t surprised because the boost success rates aren’t real. So then I had to pay 30 diamonds so the card wouldn’t regress a level from its original level because you know just having it stay the same on a failed boost would be too easy 🖕🏻. Then I tried the next day, gathered the cards with sufficient value, used another A grade trainer, and it failed again. I had to pay another 30 diamonds to keep it it’s original level. Then today I used up 300 million worth of players to boost up my arenado and used an a grade trainer to get the boost success rate to 90% and it failed, and this time I didn’t have the diamonds to keep the boost level the same and I lost a point from every attribute on my 3rd basemen. The free agent market has become garbage as well. I highly recommend NOT DOWNLOADING

### 1/5 — Worst game ever!!!!!

*2018-10-18, version 2.0.9*

Never have I seen a team hit more “knubbers” in one game and forget it if you just get lucky enough to get a lead. Sure as the real mlb season is long, that lead will be gone in the half next inning. It’s funny how good the opposing team becomes all of the sudden when trailing. Every ball you hit is either foul, ground out or a line drive right a another player. I think it’s next to impossible for your team to hit a Home run. And if you do somehow get lucky to drive the ball in the air they don’t show the outfield making the catch. Just the annoying announcer saying “what a spectacular catch”. Such BS don’t waste your valuable time downloading and playing this worthless game. And if you want to make your team better, you must spend real money to do it. The rewards are so petty it would take you 20 completed seasons just to get anything at all to use for an upgrade. I will be deleting this app and will not download again. The only plus is the graphics are awesome. Too bad they couldn’t spend some time on making the game a little more competitive.

### 1/5 — Seriously

*2018-06-02, version 2.0.3*

I mean the concept and the game itself is good, it’s everything wrong with it that outweighs the upsides.
UPDATE: I BOUGHT 164 CAPSULES AND DIDN’T EVEN GET AN ORANGE WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOUR GAME
Pay to win, I’m not one to spend $50 on a game but I will make a purchase every now and again, this game I bought the starter pack, for two dollars that was terrible. Also I got tricked into buying a lucky box, though I admit it was me being stupid I was a new player who didn’t quite understand the concept of your insane in app purchases, back to what I was saying though I bought a lucky box and thought I was getting all of that stuff, I didn’t and I wasted 3 dollars on 50 game skipping tickets. This is jus a little pet peeve, if you hit a grounder with less than one out to the right side and have a runner on third, the runner should run home and 2nd/1st should get the batter out. This game has several more issues.
GP is nearly impossible to get, capsule coins are also very difficult to get, and another thing with capsules, I’ve bought upwards of 200 capsules and only gotten blues at best. FIX YOUR GAME PLEASE

### 1/5 — Amazing but...

*2018-04-30, version 2.0.2*

Definitely the best game out there for baseball fans, unless you want to play action play that is. Pretty much any time you have a chance at getting the lead, your opponent will whip out a bullpen stacked with pitchers who throw Knuckle curveballs, which are incredibly difficult to hit. This ruins most games and destroyed the player card market as the cost of pitchers with that pitch are way too high. If you think players should just learn to adapt you’d be wrong, the fact that one pitch type can derail the entire game is ridiculous and even though it was improved on, it is still the biggest issue. Another big issue is lag, every time I play action play I get at least one out trying to advance to a base because I’m safe by over a second on my screen, yet the call is out.... Yet another issue with Action play is the matchups. Rarely are they ever fairly even, usually my team or my opponent is one or two full grades over the other and it makes for boring games even if you win it. The worst I’ve ever had was my 88 OVR matched with a 105 OVR... and then when I was 87 OVR and matched with a 66 OVR... the inter-player aspect is just awful. considering when you open the game you hear “Player First, Gong Games” you’d expect the community’s complaint to be acted upon more quickly. Especially when the servers are down for several hours a week as well for “maintenance”.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2018-04-04, version 1.0.8*

In the beginning of last year I decided to download this game, it was great as far as graphics go and gameplay (to a certain extent). The game quickly became an app I opened more than any other app until recently. There’s a community of people that are likeminded and want to have a fun baseball game to play which is awesome. Aside from that, the developers of this game and the entire team is complete garbage. They are scammers and will do anything to make money - most of the time or all of the time it makes no sense. Thankfully, I haven’t spent ONE penny on this game simply because of all the other reviews and experiences my fellow “teammates” have encountered. Gamevil lies and Triple Crown is worthless for the community. I hope Gamevil receives their karma very soon because it’s not right - I know people that have spent legit thousands of dollars on this game and got NOTHING in return. Now you may think why would anyone spend so much money? Well, people are simply fooled each and every time by Gamevil. Especially as of today when MLB Perfect Inning is supposed to update to MLB PI 18. The entire community was lied to and none of Gamevil’s team were on the same page. Triple Crown stated things that were completely untrue and he deserves to be fired in my honest opinion along with whoever else has been making decisions. Time to purchase MLB The Show. I hope no one else gets fooled into these scammers. They’re full of it.

### 5/5 — Great game, I really like it! 👍🏼

*2021-04-01, version 2.4.4*

I have had this game for a few months it might be going on a year. But this has been getting better and better with the updates and stuff they add. You can build your team, you can build your player. Which is great, this game has so much to offer the controls are easy to use the overall mobility finding where to go to scan to find what you want was hard...

The roster of the draft an drafting and getting players was hard bc you had to have so much money and gifts and rewards were so limited before this update and now, it’s awesome!! You guys really out did yourself on this.

The playing of the game, before was alright.. (of course this is not MLB The Show) but it’s close as you can get for mobile play... it’s the best mobile baseball game that I’ve played. I’ve heard ppl say this is horrible. Your always going to have that. This is a mobile game! You are going to have problems and glitches. If you don’t want that? Get a Xbox and get the “Show”
In my opinion , this is a great awesome game that you will have a blast playing!! With the regular season starting tomorrow this is great to get in the mood for it!!

Far as the spring training and regular season and all star games you can play on the game it’s so cool you can have MLB in your pocket at all times and play against the best ppl out there ands show your skills and build your team! And have a blast playing the games you guys have this is a great game !!! 👍🏼👍🏼

### 5/5 — It’s pretty good

*2020-12-30, version 2.4.1*

People leave reviews and give it a bad rep just cause of one thing they don’t like. I love road to the show but I’m not constantly at home. So wherever I am, I can play a baseball game that is similar but also different. I love how you can get players from different seasons and teams, legends, all star game cards, signature cards, etc. just in the way of mlb the show. I enjoy the upgrade system and how you can trade players at random, the more you give up the better chance of getting a good player in return. A couple years ago I’d agree that getting really good players was hard but they have quests that give you card packs and guarantied 80+ or above. Best looking baseball game on the App Store hands down feels like mlb the show on mobile. Only problem I have is that live battles or head to head games against other people are kind of broken with the matchmaking. Your team can be just ok and you’ll face a guy with 140+ ovr players. But this doesn’t happen as often as people say it does. This game takes actual skill to be really good at which I’m a big fan of.

### 5/5 — Great game but needs some work

*2020-04-24, version 2.3.2*

This is the best baseball game they played for mobile There are some things and would like to dress that would make it better and more realistic for baseball fans.I would love for retractable roof stadiums such as Minute Maid Park, marlins park, Miller Park, Roger center, T-Mobile Park, GLOBE LIFE FIELD, Field not Park and chase field to be able to have a button in which you can open or close the retractable roof I would also like it if walk up songs home run songs and whether I would like there to be double headers and day and night games Is there some great additions that I believe make this game more realistic and better for players. Finally A great addition would be to either have equipment or a way in which you can add jaw guards to all of your players these would be great additions for the 2020 MLB perfect inning game Lastly I would like for there to be different catchers mask designs Like there are in the MLB and One problem is that the 2020 version has the old Rangers stadium but the Rangers got a new stadium

**Developer response:** Hi fbjjihf,

Thank you for all the suggestions! We have collected your feedback and will take them into consideration. If there are any updates regarding your suggestions, we will make an official announcement in the Forums.

Thank you for your support!

### 5/5 — Amazing Game - Horrible Downtime/Update Schedules

*2019-08-08, version 2.1.9*

I love this game. I am very knowledgeable about baseball and think that it is as realistic(as a phone game can be). Even the players have some similar mannerisms to real life. My only complaint is that the game updates or is down for maintenance every few days from ~10pm -3am EST. It would be a lot better to do it at 5 or 6am EST because it would not restrict gamers who want to play during those hours. And especially because it would be a less popular time to play central and western time being that it would be 2am Western slightly later central. I think that 10pm downtime is the worst possible time because it means people trying to play at 10pm on east coast or 7pm on west coast are locked out. There is no way that these hours are the least popular gaming hours for this game. It is the worst possible time to update. Please change that

### 5/5 — Excellent game.

*2019-05-24, version 2.1.7*

I have an Xbox One, so of course I have no baseball game options and have been playing baseball games my whole life. There are various baseball games on here to get yet some you can’t pitch, some the players have fake names, this is the realest game I have ever came across. It was free, yet I’ve spent over a thousand dollars on it lol. Also, by just keeping stats of real season (full, 162 games,) I’ve recorded 88 World Series trophies on various difficulties. I also have terrible adhd, so if that doesn’t tell you how good the game is...idk how else to promote it. It’s been so fun starting from a 25 man, Red Sox roster with alllllllll level 1 players, and then 6 months later, I have started a club with 24 random people that is ranked in the top 25 in the world, built a lineup where the worst player is a 113 level 10 2nd baseman. I absolutely love how the game is ran. A+.

### 5/5 — Great game/ just a couple tweeks

*2019-04-10, version 2.1.4*

I don’t usually do reviews but I really think this game is great. 1st game I’ve actually spent money on just because I like it so much, that being said wish the developers would make multiple different seasons in each difficulty to keep us playing so we aren’t playing the same exact season over and over. Maybe as your go to the next year have some more season ending perks like pick a free agent or a boost or synergy change tickets. And the other is boost up the coin rewards so of the season ending rewards are like 50 mil. You can’t buy anything with that. Anyway this would be the best game ever if you’d make the seasons continuous and deeper. I would even by a ps4 baseball game I’d just keep playing this. I highly recommend this baseball game

### 5/5 — This app is great but few issues

*2019-01-27, version 2.1.1*

1. When you have a game running and you maybe wanna go to a different app for a little bit. And when you get back to your first game you played it is still up without having to restart it. But with this game if you are gone for I’m pretty sure less than a minute (like 40-50 seconds) it says disconnect and reconnect the game I don’t like that because restarting it is a hassle and the game would be so much more fun if that didn’t happen and I heard by some people that they do this in live games so it doesn’t have a disadvantage on the players idk if that’s true or not. 2. The pay to play act. I’m not familiar with this but I was told that you need to pay for expensive players to win even though I do like to pay money on this game before I did this I had a A rated team and I didn’t think this was a big deal but in some cases it is.

The first one would be wonderful if you fixed that problem

### 5/5 — PLEASE ADD LEGENDS AND ROULETTE

*2017-09-16, version 1.0.4*

So I started playing this game in May of this year and I have absolutely loved it. There is no better game then this one. It has everything I need and want to play mobile baseball. But I have just have a couple questions. First, why is it that roulette always says, preparing? I really want to play it and I have no idea what it is. Second, can you add legends and programs to get the legends, like gaining hits or runs with a lower overall version of the player to get a better version of said player. I would also like the legends to only have one overall, but multiple versions so that you can, as I said previously, make the player better by gaining hits and rbis. I hope you guys listen to my suggestions because I have really enjoyed this game so far, and I can't wait to see if you listen to me! Thanks, a satisfied fan

### 5/5 — PLEASE BRING BACK LEGENDS

*2017-07-30, version 1.0.4*

Love this game, I've been playing it for years and have been very proud at how much this game has improved! The animations are cleaner, graphics are slightly better, the only shame is how you can't get back your rosters from last year (which I understand why). The one thing that I absolutely liked that the game took out of the game was legend players, like Rod Carew and other hall of famers, also the ability to have any difficulty you'd want to play in live season mode, which, by the way, please make the live season mode the actual MLB schedule for that team, because, let's face it, I'm not going to finish a whole live season without simming all the games, and lastly, the roulette thing is pretty weird, it's like the second half of the season and it's still "preparing". But yes, that's about it, thank you gamevil, I've been playing since 2013 and haven't really been impressed until this year's version. Again, thanks for making this game so fun and enjoyable.
Sincerely, a satisfied fan

### 4/5 — Great game, but a few tweaks suggested.

*2022-11-11, version 2.5.6*

I love this game; the attention to detail is amazing. The batting stances, ballparks, etc. are all so realistic and accurate. However, I have a few suggestions to make it even more realistic.

-I think it would be cool to have some players get injured at random points around the season, just to add a little excitement to it all.

-When base running and stealing a base, if the pitcher has picked off my runner, I can’t make him go back to first base and so he’s out whenever I’ve told him to steal and the pitcher picks him off. If he could turn back when that happens, that could result in a rundown.

-when facing real players from around the world, there should be a way to play teams around your skill level (I still don’t know how to make my players better and up to par to the other S level and SS level teams I face and it’s very aggravating to not know what to do).

-when trading, you should have more options to select a player you want rather than trading three six or nine players for a random player.

-Outfielders should be able to play all three outfield positions. As manager you should be able to pick where your team players play, up to a certain point.

Thanks for a great game!
