Until then, I will see this app as too much of a risk to my private information. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2023-11-07* I have been trying to sign up for the app, but as soon as I put my dog's name & breed in, the screen slides up and just turns white and you can’t proceed further. I have tested this both on my iPhone & iPad, both yield the same results… Hopefully this gets fixed, I would love to use the app. ### 3/5 — Pet profile glitch *2023-07-30* Hi there! I just downloaded the app and started filling up my pup’s profile. However when I got to the questions “what best describes his?”, there is a glitch and gives me no option to pick or write my answers. **Developer response:** Hi there! I have tried just creating a new account, no luck. I find this very sketchy *2023-12-05* I would like to use you app in theory but I’m not too comfortable with the mandatory phone number entry in order to make an account. Why isn’t an email address enough? Unfortunately, that makes me concerned that they immediately plan to sell my contact information to telemarketers, etc… Thus, I decided not to make a profile. Did it again when Wi-Fi was better and it says my phone number is already in use. Won’t let me log in or sign up properly. **Developer response:** Hi, Elana! It offers a fantastic platform for connecting with fellow dog enthusiasts for arranging playdates, as well as being a useful resource for exchanging valuable information. ### 5/5 — So helpful for dog parents *2023-09-01* I’ve wanted to find more dog friends for our 1.2 year old to hangout with. We have gone through so much training to correct his reactivity. I want him to be able to engage more with other dogs but we’ve had so many bad experiences with other aggressive dogs or handlers that aren’t really paying attention as their dogs are misbehaving and I don’t want ours to pick up that behaviour. This app helps to provide a screening you have an idea of the dog and their parent before deciding if it’s a good fit. After getting my puppy, I longed for her to have other dog friends, but it was so difficult to actually make any. Since using this app, it has helped me cultivate so many more connections with dogs and dog parents in my town. I couldn’t be more grateful for this app! ### 5/5 — So many cute dogs *2023-01-03, version 1.5.3* I recently downloaded MMDC and it has been such a game-changer for my dog and me! The app itself is straightforward and easy to use, and it makes finding other parents interested in making playdates so much easier. My dog has found a few new friends from the list of playdate recommendations and so far they have really enjoyed playing together. Honestly, my favorite thing is just swiping through all of the cute dogs joining every day… ### 5/5 — I already had 3 dates! Love it! *2022-12-27, version 1.5.3* I just moved to a new neighborhood so i was looking for playdates for my dog and this app recommended personalized playdates for my dog based in size, age and the location so i could actually meet and had fun! Also I thank this app that i could get lots of valuable information from dog parents here they are so nice!! ### 4/5 — Great app with a few issues *2023-06-11* I love the idea behind this and I plan on continuing to use it but the profile can be hard to fill out as I couldn't see what I was typing in the box and doesn’t allow enough characters to write anything worthwhile about my dog. I’d like to see more information on other profiles as well so I have a better idea of personality and potential issues. ### 4/5 — Great Concept, 7/8 Baked App, Needs Support *2022-12-04, version 1.4.0* DEVs. Please help me with this so I can give you the 5 star rating this app should have. Can’t create an account without oauth because it refuses to accept any password. Can’t delete oauth based account because there is no such option. No way to remove photos. App refuses passwords saying that it must be 8+characters contains alphabet, numbers, special characters-all of which I meet. Tried 6 times, does not work. You must be specific of what the password requirements are. Do you not take certain characters? How many special characters or numbers? Is it case sensitive? Also don’t force sign in to get support unless you want to push people away. We should also be able to change email addresses-and delete profiles, though that maybe is a security or safety risk, and something to consider further. This app seems promising but has so many annoying bugs just to do something so simple. AppleID sign in is different from web version to app. If registered by the app, you can’t use the website-that’s a more technical issue. I attempted to sign in with the oauth AppleID login on what seems to be a more polished website, but that doesn’t work. The app itself looks polished but feels more like an advertisement for an app to come. It runs fine and looks clean, but basically has a wall unless you sign in. No way to explore and quickly see what the app has to offer without a lengthy registration process. It shouldn’t take 15 minutes to register. Also, picking photos is a nightmare. Photo picker is using the wrong API and does not place nice with iCloud Photos.
