## What is Mnemo Route?

The Method of loci, also called the memory palace or mind palace technique, is a method of memory enhancement that uses visualization to organize and recall information. Many memory contest champions claim to use this technique to recall faces, digits, and lists of words.

Mnemo Route allows you to create an unlimited number of routes and route points.

Features:

Die Schwester-App zum Thema Majorsystem ist recht gut gelungen.
Diese App hier aber lässt eine grundlegende Funktion vermissen: das Trainieren der Route. Zwar kann man Routen erschaffen, speichern und editieren. Viel wichtiger aber ist, die Routen und deren einzelne Punkte und deren Nummerierungen zu kennen. Diese essentielle Trainingsfunktion bietet die App allerdings nicht, sondern fungiert lediglich als digitaler Zettel, auf dem man seine Routen vermerken kann. Diese Designentscheidung kann ich beim besten Willen nicht verstehen.

Wie der Beschreibung der App zu entnehmen ist, dient diese App tatsächlich dem Erstellen beliebig vieler und beliebig langer Routen, die in Kategorien abgelegt werden können usw.
Es handelt sich, wenn man so will um einen digitalen Zettelkasten, in dem individuelle Routen abgelegt werden. Genau das soll es sein! Das ist der primäre Sinn der App. 
Zusätzlich ermöglicht die App die Ablage von Audioinformation zu jedem Routenpunkt, die in einem Player optional mit der Routenposition abgespielt werden können. Dies ist gedacht um z.B. bei Joggen oder Radfahren sich die Routen vorlesen zu lassen und somit das memorieren zu erleichtern. Man kann im Abspielmodus auch durch einen Zettelkasten blättern, und auf diese Art die Routen lernen. Da es bei der Routenmethode um das lernen sequentieller Routenpunkte geht, ist das genau das, was die App bietet. Sollte es Möglichkeiten geben dieses sequentielle Lernen durch die App weiter zu unterstützen, würde ich mich sehr freuen mehr darüber zu erfahren. Bitte kontaktiere hierfür den Support. Dies ist auch direkt aus der App über das Info Fenster möglich. Über die Support e-mail Adresse stehe ich natürlich auch immer für weitere Fragen und Anregungen zur Verfügung.

Für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Die App bietet alles was man braucht um seine Routen digital abzuspeichern, anzupassen und auszubauen. Unterteilen in Kategorien, zusammenführen, Fotos hinterlegen und sichern in der Dropbox - alles ist möglich. Mir fehlt lediglich eine Funktion in der man der Route eine "Übersichtsskizze" - ein Foto, hinzufügen kann, eventuell könnte man den einzelnen Routenpunkten auch noch Notizen hinzufügen. Hierfür würde ich jedoch keinen Stern abziehen, da die App sonst alles bietet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail erstellst wurde. Der nächste Punkt ist der Support, welcher wirklich erstklassig ist! Wünsche und Kritik werden schnell umgesetzt. Bedingungslos empfehlenswert!

I have been using this app for a couple week now. Overall, I am happy I bought it. It has been great for setting up my memory palaces and I dare say I enjoy practicing mnemonics more since I started using it. My main complaint is that it sometimes crashes for no apparent reason, but not enough to discourage me. I would like to see it continue to improve.
