I've studied Mandarin for a while now, but occasionally I need to look things up in case I don't know a word, and a lot of the time I can't recall the character, but I know the pinyin.  Problem solved!!  This app helps me with all that and it has a great dictionary.  Since it's in my device, it's always with me too so it's convenient, you don't even use phone data.  Thumbs up.
