### 2/5 — Not helpful

*2020-12-11, version 4.0.1*

The instructions are brief and vague at best and basically full of sales pitches. They cover how to use the moasure one but no help in how to manipulate the data or download and use.

Customer support wasn’t any better, Essentially referring me to more vague instructions, tutorials that didn’t cover my query and sales pitches.

### 4/5 — Measurements

*2020-11-24, version 4.0.1*

The measurements seems to change a bit after measuring the same distance multiple times. Also the measurements may be slightly off which I have already read about on the website.

### 3/5 — Device seems accurate but app is meh.

*2020-11-23, version 4.0.1*

Seems to be accurate but app navigation and functionality is just ok. Charges 10 a month to email yourself the diagrams. Also it would be helpful to be able to take additional scaled measurements from the drawing.

### 1/5 — Not for the real world

*2019-07-19, version 3.1.0*

The app requires way too much stability in order to accurately measure between surfaces or points. For example, I tried it in my office, measuring from table top to floor. I got significantly different measurements each time and was told I moved the phone too much. I was simply setting the phone on the floor, picking it up, then setting it on the desk top. Naturally, the phone moved and rotated a bit in the act of picking it up and setting it down. I am not sure I could have been more precise in my movements, but apparently the app requires it.

If I scale this activity up for measuring a building, I would not be able to maintain anywhere near this level of precision and stillness. I do not move like a laser. When measuring a space, I have to walk across a room, or many rooms. I cannot be expected to not tilt, rotate, or otherwise shift my phone as I move from one point to the next. Often times there are pieces of furniture or other objects in the way.

I think the app requires conditions that are too ideal, and for that reason the measurements cannot be trusted. My work requires very accurate measurements.
I think I’ll stick with my laser. It has not let me down except in sunny outdoor settings.

### 1/5 — Jus

*2019-05-24, version 3.0.0*

I have a iPhone 6 and now since the recent update none of the measurements work

### 1/5 — Can’t get past tutorial?

*2019-02-24, version 2.1.3*

Not sure why but can’t get the tutorial to the point you can actually measure something? Any suggestions?

### 1/5 — How use it??

*2019-01-06, version 2.1.3*

I think this good app but many have problem 😒😒 how i can use 😟

### 1/5 — super annoying tutorials

*2018-12-23, version 2.1.3*

tutorials are so annoying but can't be skipped.
It takes more than a minute apparently. you liar.

and why does this app need location service on?
App says it doesn't need gps, so why? to steal my personal information?

### 1/5 — Bad purchase

*2018-12-07, version 2.1.3*

Not user friendly in every aspect...a waste of $5

### 1/5 — Didn’t work right at all

*2018-09-12, version 2.1.3*

I tested the same height over and over and got different results every time , I want a refund

### 1/5 — Useless

*2018-04-24, version 2.1.3*

It is difficult to hold the phone at the perfect orientation and move at the perfect speed to get an accurate measurement. Every single attempt had different results for the same measurement. The app doesn’t like most of the measurements. I wish I hadn’t spent the money on this.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Absolute ripped off, DON’T PURCHASE!

*2022-12-12, version 4.1.4*

This app is very disappointing ! Use a ruler, protractor, speed square, a human foot or fingers, whatever basic measuring tool to acquire needed measurements. Don’t waste your time or money on this pathetic attempt of simplifying an easy task. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, huge waste of valuable time and money!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t do what it says.

*2022-05-02, version 4.1.3*

You can only measure straight lines and angles. To do any more, measure areas, shapes, gradients, or level unless you but a $399 device to go with it.
This is nothing but a scam ad to get you to buy something.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2021-12-09, version 4.1.2*

Not accurate at all

### 1/5 — Deleting this app

*2021-10-04, version 4.1.0*

This is the second phone survey App I tried.
I took it on site for a survey and found it extremely confusing. Calibrated okay and then it mostly wanted me to visit their store. Which of course I don’t mind if I can try this with a modest success beforehand.
For accurate survey work I recommend a laser + tape measures. Which I ended up using with the usual 100% success.

### 1/5 — Not as advertised

*2021-05-21, version 4.1.0*

I downloaded this app expecting to at least trialthe area function. The menu takes you to the website where they suggest a 30 day trial after creating an account and a $9.99 a month option. The “store” only has two products: an extension stick and a $299 purchase of what the app advertises you are getting. No way of clicking the trial or monthly.
All of the help links take you to a video showing people using the function not how to activate the feature.

**Developer response:** Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about your confusion.

The "trial" is referring to the trial of the Moasure 3D subscription but this is only available with the Moasure ONE device.

You don't need the trial or the subscription to try out the app on your phone.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-05-04, version 4.1.0*

More questions than an FBI interrogation to get started, Make it simple like Steve Jobs would have!

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2021-04-10, version 4.1.0*

I find this device to be inaccurate and unpredictable to use- and very expensive considering it doesn’t work properly!

### 1/5 — Architect’s 2 cents... Don’t Buy

*2020-06-15, version 4.0*

If you require any kind of accurate measurement, this is not the tool for you! For the price of the Moasure device you could buy a very good laser measure that does everything you need, and is 100 times more accurate!! (And have lots of money left over!)

We tested out measuring the same distances with this device, and a laser measure and the laser measure beat it in precision and speed every time! And not by little, by a landslide! Save your money!

**Developer response:** Hi there, I'm sorry to hear of your awful experience with Moasure. Please can you email us at support@moasure.com and we'd love to look into the issues you're having and try to help you fix them!

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2019-11-25, version 3.2.3*

Great idea. Unreliable results. It gives me measurements too variable for woodworking and it won’t measure distances for my landscaping. Keep making improvements. I’m hoping this eventually gets better.

### 1/5 — The biggest thing is missing... opening the finished product

*2019-10-15, version 3.2.3*

Downloaded the app. I have purchase the $250 Moasure one and the 3D feature on the app. Did my measurements, emailed it to myself. Then, here is the breakdown of the app.... no clue or advice given on app or whatever to open this file up with... this is crazy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great tool easy to use

*2022-04-07, version 4.1.3*

Moasure is a great tool to have if you need to measure area if any type. I use Moasure on a near daily basis to estimate a project then follow up with any quality assurance that may be needed

### 5/5 — Tape measure

*2021-12-30, version 4.1.2*

Very useful app for quick ruff measurements. And good directions

### 5/5 — Efficient, effectiveness and professionalism

*2021-11-29, version 4.1.2*

I think the Moasure device and system is exceptional.

It has significantly increased my proficiency and accuracy in taking measurements for estimating. I am able to take measurements in less time providing more time with the client and more appointments each day. The diagram allows me to complement the associated field pictures giving the field team a more comprehensive understanding of the job. And when the prospective client observes me using the Moasure to measure it lends credibility to my proposal and differentiates me from the competition. I highly recommend this purchase.

### 5/5 — As advertised

*2021-07-12, version 4.1.0*

Takes a bit of getting used to but…extremely useful tool!

### 5/5 — Best gadget ever

*2020-12-10, version 4.0.1*

I am a landscape architect and I typically measure solo.I recently found myself in central Florida measuring an existing organically shaped lime stone retaining wall in some pretty solid Florida rain. This thing made it so easy. Hands-down the best gadget that I think I’ve ever purchased. So worth the money!

**Developer response:** We're so glad that you love Moasure and thank you for spreading the positivity for us. If you're interested in the referral scheme we have operating then please email us at support@moasure.com and we can get you set up for this :)

### 5/5 — The worst device I’ve ever used

*2020-05-06, version 3.4.0*

First off good luck on finding an app to download all apps are geared towards selling more services that are worthless.
I was able to get it to measure a couple of very small areas but would not save any other measurements greater than a few hundred feet.
The device would lose connection and would have to start over several times before I just went back to using google earth.
Don’t waste your valuable time on this worthless gadget that will stay in your glove box and tossed in the trash after a few months.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we're very sorry to hear about the issues you have faced here. We're confident we can help based on your feedback. If you are able to please send through a support request from within the Moasure app, we can review your data and be in a position to offer you more detailed, tailored support. This can be done by heading to the settings menu (top right corner) in the Moasure App and by selecting Support. We're really keen to help. Thanks, Ben.

### 5/5 — Great device

*2020-02-11, version 3.4.0*

Easy to use and a time saver !!

### 5/5 — A dedicated and responsive developer

*2019-08-27, version 3.2.1*

I have both the app and the Moasure device and together they make a remarkable pairing.

I had difficulty when I first started using Moasure, but the developer has been constantly making improvements and they really show. The ability to measure gradients and circles is a huge plus, and the increase in accuracy and flexibility in taking measurements has made this a truly useful tool. Extraordinary value for money.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2019-05-24, version 3.0.0*

Very nice app and easy to use. Very useful. Thanks

### 5/5 — Great design

*2017-12-12, version 2.0.1*

App has a great design to it. Can’t wait to fix my phone so I can use the app.
