### 2/5 — Not worth the price

*2026-06-24*

Hyper expensive (almost extortionate), and the bikes are in terrible condition. Avoid and find alternative means of transportation.

### 2/5 — Useless App

*2026-06-05, version 3.20.13*

Need to be logged in to see where stations are - who has time for that?! Just use the website on your phone

### 2/5 — I think should be cheaper

*2026-03-28, version 3.18.28*

I used the bikes for 1h45
E-bike: 57.77
Mechanical bike: 43.30

In my opinion it is very expensive, don’t have any sense be like this.. I rent a car for a entire day and refill the tank and I just paid 120 hehehe

### 3/5 — We need bike share in South Vancouver

*2026-03-25, version 3.18.28*

Mobi is needed to expand to areas like Langara

### 2/5 — App is super wonky and doesn’t end rides without a call to customer service.

*2025-10-18, version 3.18.18*

App is

### 4/5 — Brought back filtering

*2025-09-20, version 3.18.18*

They thankfully fixed the one thing that they busted in the new app. Pretty great now, and still way better than Lime scooters!

### 1/5 — New app is terrible

*2025-08-05, version 3.18.4*

On the former app before Rogers effed it up, like they do to everything, you could toggle to only view ebikes or classic bikes and easily see where those kind of bike were located. Now you have to click on each station individually to see what kind of bikes are there. When you go looking at a particular station and click on it, the map automatically zooms you back out so you lose track of which station you were looking at. This makes it insanely difficult to plan trips to particular locations, trying to find stations nearby. There are many other problems. All in all, this is now one of the worst apps I have come across. Why? Why decimate the excellent usability of the old app?

### 2/5 — didn’t stop charging me after i locked the bike and it said ‘successfully locked’

*2025-08-01, version 3.18.4*

The actual bikes were good during the cycle, with just a bit of confusion getting them started, but after we finished we locked the bike into its station and it clearly stated it was successful and our ride was over, but continued charging us nevertheless. had to phone in to the helpline to stop being charged. also pricy during the ride.

### 1/5 — Amazing service

*2025-07-23, version 3.18.4*

The helpers were so helpful, they were able to navigate me through the app seamlessly. Love peddling on the Mobi bikes, it’s great!

### 1/5 — Service ruined by app update

*2025-07-22, version 3.18.4*

Terrible, absolutely terrible. This app update should never have been released in the first place. It’s full of bugs. If you want to navigate to an address, you can only do so if the address is in FRANCE!! You can’t filter by electronic bikes and manual bikes anymore, the app shows bikes in places where there are none - the list goes on. At least the city now has Lime scooters. The Lime app, and the full Lime experience is much much better and much more reliable than mobi by Roger’s.

### 1/5 — Bikes are in Poor Condition ans Annoying to Unlock

*2025-07-18, version 3.18.4*

Always issues with bike unavailable or station issue plus the bikes themselves are poor quality and expensive

### 2/5 — Disappointed with latest update

*2025-07-17, version 3.18.4*

Really disappointed with the latest update. As someone who only uses e-bikes, I’m disappointed that I can no longer see how many e-bikes are at a particular station from the map view. Having to click into each station individually to check availability for electric or manual separately is a big downgrade from the previous version’s capability. Also since the latest update the app logs me out frequently. As someone who uses mobi regularly, it is very annoying to have to re-login to the app every day. Please fix these changes!!

### 1/5 — Worst user experience for both the app and the physical docking

*2025-07-16, version 3.18.4*

What the heck is a user card? Why is it not a digital card? Are you serious? You’re making people carry a physical card for an app?? Why the heck are there no video tutorials on the app let alone the signs at the docking stations. Worst user experience ever.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst Bike App

*2026-06-24, version 3.21.5*

Easily the worst bike app I’ve ever used. Bikes just don’t work and the app’s UI is horrible. Why can’t we just scan like every other app? Why can bikes only be unlocked 3/10 times?

### 1/5 — Unreliable app and service

*2026-06-22, version 3.21.5*

I don’t recommend this app or the service. It is not reliable enough to use as public transport. You will find yourself late to almost anything if you attempt to rely on mobi.

### 1/5 — Useless, unfortunately

*2026-06-14, version 3.20.13*

Couldn’t even unlock the bike. Tons of issues. This app could really learn from what they’ve done in Montreal. Hopefully they can get some decent developers working on it!

### 1/5 — Worst Equipment and Zero Customer Service

*2026-05-23, version 3.20.13*

The bike wont start and they keep charging you for every unlock. Nobody picks up customer service calls.

### 1/5 — If i could assign negative stars i would

*2026-04-02, version 3.18.28*

This shared bike service is the most annoying to use. The docks dot unlock correctly, they fail to lock properly when they lock at all.

And the app is no better.

This is the worse shared bike service i have used in all the cities where i have use one across all continents.

I’d get all my money back if i could.

### 1/5 — Worst bike share ever used

*2025-12-23, version 3.18.25*

Bad bikes, super expensive, outdated technology.

### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work

*2025-10-09, version 3.18.18*

Do not use this.

### 1/5 — Can’t set up

*2025-09-21, version 3.18.18*

It won’t let me progress putting in my phone number. It only accepts 9 digits, but when I put in the 10th, it won’t let me progress.
When I clicked on app support in the Apple App Store it 404’d me.

### 1/5 — Typical Rogers experience

*2025-09-03, version 3.18.10*

Which is to say absolutely awful. I don’t know how much Rogers actually has to do with the app and service itself, but they both feel like Rogers quality products since the change over from Shaw. There isn’t even a way to fillet for just ebikes, you have to click on each station. And sometimes I go to a station that supposedly has multiple ebikes and none of them unlock. Lots of others having the same problem too. I own my own bicycles and just want this service for the ebikes, nothing else, so I frequently waste time trying to find one to the point where it’s cheaper and easier to just take an Uber or whatever. And I’m sorry, but the regular bikes are in such a sad state these days that no one in their right mind would happily ride one.

Everything about this now oozes Rogers and makes it a typically awful Rogers experience. How are they so bad at literally everything they do from their products to their customer service? That was obviously a rhetorical question because there’s effectively no competition and thus no incentive for them to be better. Just look at what they’ve done to the NHL.

Rogers = one of the worst companies in Canada, top to bottom.

### 1/5 — Badly Outdated

*2025-08-10, version 3.18.7*

This app is so outdated. Riddled with bugs. Took more than 10 attempts just to register. Also, given how poor it is how come there are only 12 reviews..?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Make Vancouver Green

*2026-06-23, version 3.21.5*

One of the best city bike rental system in the world.

### 5/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-19, version 3.20.13*

Multiple charges, in days I did not ride. Charges different in the app than in my card, do not recommend, also very expensive, will be easy and better to take and uber

### 5/5 — Great when it’s setup

*2026-03-24*

It’s great once it’s setup, but you could do a lot more to be highly specific and detailed about the initial setup process, both I and others around me were having a hell of a time going through all the loops

### 5/5 — Fun way to get around

*2026-01-18, version 3.18.28*

Really enjoyed visiting the Vancouver seawall and Stanley Park. Ride was great even though I had explosive diarrhea earlier in the day.

### 5/5 — Stanley Park Loop, Vancouver

*2025-11-07, version 3.18.25*

Rented a bike for just about an hour $23 was exceedingly reasonable and had a wonderful time going around a 13 to 14 km loop of Stanley Park in Vancouver

### 5/5 — Amazing support

*2025-08-20, version 3.18.10*

I was out in Stanley park with the kids today and we saw this bike share and wanted to try. The boy and girl working there were AMAZING!! They were so helpful and made our experience terrific, such angels. Will be coming back to mobi soon!

### 5/5 — Works perfectly fine

*2025-07-26*

I don’t understand the struggle or hate against this. It was quick to get set up and at a better rate than renting bike from a shop. Must be boomers making accounts because I had zero issues.

My only gripe is that there aren’t electric bikes at all the stations, so you have to walk a bit further to get an electric bike, or take a mechanical bike to get to an electric bike

### 5/5 — Quite good

*2025-05-30, version 3.18.1*

Suggestion: make the map a bit more clear

### 5/5 — Amazing Service!

*2023-09-19, version 2.1.0*

Ocean was phenomenal from Vancouver. She helped to answer all my questions. Would 100% recommend!

### 5/5 — Worked well

*2023-08-10, version 2.1.0*

Easy to used great for locating bikes and docking stations
