## What is Mobile Cooling?

Use the Mobile Cooling app to control your CFX3, CFX5 and CFX2 cooler from a distance, providing you have a suitable Bluetooth connection to connect your phone to your cooler.


Use the Mobile Cooling app to:

·     Control and monitor temperatures remotely (distance depends on environment)

·     Turn your cooler off/on, and/or control individual compartments

·     Set your battery protection level

·     Select temperature unit (°C or °F)

·     View which power source your cooler is running on – AC or DC

·     View the supply voltage level if running on DC power (CFX3 and CFX5)

·     See whether your cooler lid is open, and receive an alert if left open for more than 3 mins

Can no longer connect to the Dometic cfx3 75DZ fridge. Won’t connect to WiFi or Bluetooth anymore.

Straightforward app to monitor and control the temp on my cfx 5 cooler. Would be great if it was supported in car play so you can check the temperature of your food without picking up the phone while on a road trip.

Will not connect at all. I have been trying for hours . Installed and reinstalled app several times .  Guess I will just not be able to WiFi or Bluetooth

For the Bluetooth to work I have to be within a few metres of the van.  Not really much good. So I tried the Wi-Fi app but the instructions are so poor and I haven’t been able together it to connect.  Dometic, you need to spend more time in these apps, considering I spent £1,000 on a Coolbox.

The firmware update process is fundamentally broken for my CFX5:

1. Select update, provide email (why do you need this?)
2. Open email, tap verify OTP.
3. Back to app, error modal appears (email not verified).
4. Try again, “email already used”.
5. Try a different email, same failure (email not verified).

I have the latest version of the app. It’s been this way since last year, and there is nothing special about my setup.

The last update destroyed my fridge. The large side works as a freezer now even at 50F and the small one doesn’t work properly. Everything was fine before. No, the update didn’t failed. It’s just a bad update. I wish I can manually reflash it. Lost a lot of my food camping. 
This is ridiculous.

I can’t connect my fridge to the app. Even the help options don’t even list the latest model that I bought. The customer service is an automated cycle of nothing. I’m really surprised at how lame this is, clearly you’re getting the feedback and doing nothing about it! If you haven’t made a purchase yet, I would avoid

Leider kann entgegen der Verkaufsbeschreibung keine WLAN Verbindung hergestellt werden. Die Steuerung via Bluetooth Verbindung ist möglich wenn man neben der Box steht. Das ist dann dünn für ein Produkt dieser Preisklasse. Auch kann nur die Temperatur eingestellt werden sonst nichts. Nicht einmal die Alarme können konfiguriert werden.
