I've opened my garage door for my kids from the other side of the world with this app. I love it. Full stop. It's ready for the 64-bit conversion that is coming soon. Your hardware investment will work past iOS 11. The hardware is easy to use and a great appendage to your existing garage door opener. ### 4/5 — Worked better and earlier than most but... *2017-08-25* Worked as advertised with good vidoes to walk you through technical setup. Unfortunately it has not been updated in some time and while initial support was superb, it has become impossible to get a response. Clear simple easy to follow 4 step video installation tutorial. I have full control of my garage door anywhere, anytime (literally!). I always second-guess myself one block away whether I closed my garage door or if a cat triggered the sensor and all my valuables are there for the taking. Countless times I had to drive back just to make sure. If I doubt my kids forgot to close the garage door while I'm already on bed, it's so convenient to check without getting up and walking half-naked outside. Now I can check or open or close my garage door from my iPhone (anywhere in the world). When my family and/or friends need to drop something off at my house, they don't have to leave it unsupervised on my doorstep - they call me, and I open & close the door. Set-up is easy and the technology is stable & secure. Paul at Customer Service responds to allllllllll my tech questions immediately. Such a great service and attentive personal response. He knows the product inside and out, and can solve any issue, no matter if you have a Mac or PC - if your garage is downstairs or detached. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this device and app for everyone who has a garage door with an opener. ### 5/5 — I looked everywhere for this and they are right here in Calgary, *2014-02-11, version 2.1.7* We have a home automation and security system. We were on a camping trip this past summer about an hour outside Calgary when our security system sent us a message that our garage door had been opened. Well, the only way to be sure it was not a false signal was to drive back to Calgary and check for our self. As it turned out the door was closed, it was a false signal. We have since added a remote PTZ camera to monitor the door and keep an eye on our property but it still led us to the conclusion, OK our door is open what now? What we needed was a cost effective solution that allowed us to control and monitor the garage door remotely...as it turns out, the solution was right here with a local Calgary company! The system is an easy retrofit, it works great and is easy to install and set up. It is a fantastic augmentation to our home automation and security and automation system. Support was always there with quick responses until it was up and running 100%. It has been working reliably ever since. It's great, I no longer need to carry any keys with me! It was easy to install and the videos were very helpful. It is nice to be able to check to see if I closed my garage door without having to drive back home.
