Mobile ID Verify by IDEMIA scans and verifies digital identity credentials such as mobile driver’s licenses (mDL) and state-issued Mobile IDs (mID) as well scans US State-issued IDs (DL and ID). The Mobile ID Verify app is used by businesses and relying parties to check digital IDs and display relevant identity information in a convenient and organized fashion to support transactions with consumers. How it works: 1. When ready to scan an ID, open the app and click the button “I'm ready to scan”. 2. Hover the mobile device camera over a mobile ID digital barcode or the QR Code. 3. All 23 scanned. It was laughable considering what some of these fakes looked like. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t show fake id *2025-03-09* The fake id’s will scan just like real ones. ### 2/5 — Worked for PDF417 but not mDL QR *2024-03-19* No problem reading PDF417 the crossword like barcode on the back of licenses. But it didn’t decode a Cal mDL. It kept spinning and the request just timed out. ### 1/5 — Trash *2023-07-16* Doesn’t work ### 1/5 — Not working correctly *2021-12-21* I’ve tried numerous times to get this to add my portrait or a copy of my license and it won’t do it! And apparently once you leave the app it doesn’t retain any info!
