It needs to be setup so that if something is fixed it doesn’t keep showing up as a suggested fix item. Would rate higher if that was fixed! **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! I could have received up to $310 for my iPhone 13, and after running and passing well all tests, no damage whatsoever in the phone, estimate is only $77. They’re a joke. ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-11-19* Ridiculous app with no point. It doesn’t do a health checkup in your phone. It simply promos you to do test which are virtually useless. This app is just a simple sales tool to tempt you into selling your phone for 10 percent of what it’s worth in order for you to purchase a new device from them. Inutile… ### 1/5 — The app isn’t real *2022-06-03* My rear flash works perfectly fine but the app doesn’t fire my flash during the test and so the app claims my rear flash fails the test. How convenient. Could it be a trick to get people to bring their device in for unneeded “repair”? One can only speculate. Fraud or they don’t properly test the app before putting the app live. ### 1/5 — DON’T USE THIS APP *2021-11-16* After I used this app my phone didn’t work right. Some of my widgets don’t work, some apps don’t work, and I loss connection randomly. ### 1/5 — Not useful *2018-09-23* Does not help me any and when I check Warrantee it tells me my phones is not a TELUS not useful if I can’t see when my Warranty is up ### 1/5 — Worthless *2018-03-21* Don’t bother with this app - it does not perform a diagnostic, but rather gives you info already available on Apple’s website. I feel lied to. ### 1/5 — Recommendations *2018-02-17* After you follow the steps the app recommends and then rescan your device it comes up with the exact same recommendations not very helpful. Sorry for the hassle, we’re working on it. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t do anything *2018-02-08* My iPhone 6 location services doesn’t work properly and gets lost frequently. This kills my battery fast if location services are turned on. This app missed that and honestly did nothing to make my phone work better. **Developer response:** Can you reach out to us at devicecheckup@telus.com? We’d like to fix the problem and help you with your iPhone 6. ### 2/5 — Device checkup feature... *2024-06-04* Unless I am doing it wrong, and I don’t think I am, running the device checkup is useless. Can the developers please chime in and explain what the point is with this feature? After running the test, each selected category is given a pass or fail; any other information provided is minimal, and too vague to know what it means, thus diminishing its value. Plus, after the checkup is complete, you’re unable to view the “results” again—it shows you that a test was done, and when, but that’s it. You can run another one, and burn another 3% battery, but then you’ll have wasted about 5 minutes and nearly 6% of your battery for basically zip (info based on full test of my iPad Air 4th gen). And it’s not like the FAQ (which opens in your browser) is helpful, either, unless you’re using the app to buy or sell a device, because that’s all it has information on. Mobile Klinik’s checkup feature essentially confirms that a test CAN be done. If you actually want helpful information about your device, I’d suggest using another app. The app might be useful if you’re buying/selling a device, but I can’t speak to that, and I doubt it is anyway. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best app that everyone NEEDS *2019-12-01* If your iPad or iPhone is slow, simply launch this app and it tells you what is taking your battery ...you can’t have your battery being drained..especially if you’re on the road .. this app is worth it .. 😀😀😀 **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback!
