### 5/5 — :)

*2026-07-02*

This app is very good very deep makes sure it’s certain I love it overall

### 5/5 — Even though i’m from the streets it’s a good app💯💯

*2026-06-07*

This fishing app is awesome. It’s easy to use, has great features, and helps me find spots and keep track of my catches. Everything runs smoothly and it’s clear a lot of effort went into making it.

As someone who comes from the streets (the mean streets of suburban cul-de-sacs), I know a thing or two about survival, and this app has helped me survive many fishless afternoons. If you’re into fishing, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great app, great developer, and hopefully great fish.

### 5/5 — Hooked on This Fishing App 🎣

Well-designed and easy to use, with genuinely useful features for tracking spots and catches—clearly built by someone who understands fishing, and enhanced by a polished UI/UX refined by a team of professionals.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.2 — 2026-07-23

A faster, action-first fishing screen:

- Log a catch or a miss right from the top of the screen, with your tackle plan one tap below.
- Logging catches, misses, and spots is now instant: no more waiting on a GPS fix.
- Save a catch with just the species and fill in the details whenever you like.

Safety nets for your logbook:

- Deleting a catch, spot, trip, or gear now asks first, and a deleted catch can be undone for a few seconds.
- Accidentally swiping away a half-filled catch? The app now asks before discarding, and your draft survives interruptions.
- If a save fails, you'll know, and a Retry button puts it right back.
- Double-taps can no longer create duplicate catches or spots.
- If a refresh fails, the screen says so and shows when your conditions were last updated.

Fixes and reliability improvements:

- Weather alerts now fire dependably: pressure drops, golden hour, cold fronts, and stable-bite conditions are checked every time you load a trip, not just in the background.
- Pro purchases and restores now unlock immediately, and Restore Purchases tells you exactly what happened.
- Pro stays unlocked when you launch offline.
- Clearer guidance when location permission is off, including a direct path to Settings.
- Faster condition loading and better handling of spotty connections.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-05-04

A rebuilt scoring engine. The 0–100 bite score now multiplies per-species rules against the actual conditions — front passage, water level, solunar period, water color, current, dissolved oxygen, thermocline depth, and more. Same number, much sharper signal.

34 species with curated rules and a photo of each on the recommendation screen. Bass, panfish, walleye/sauger/saugeye, pike, muskie, catfish, trout, and salmon all have their own response curves.

A tackle plan that adapts. Layered presentation suggestions ("top water now, deep crank in 90 min") with cover-aware lure picks, generated for your trip and updating as conditions shift.

Score quality bracket. The score is now color-coded — poor, fair, good, very good, excellent — on iPhone and Apple Watch, so the headline reads at a glance without parsing digits.

Cleaner contribution badges. The "×0.85" multipliers have become directional chevron stacks (▲, ▲▲, ▲▲▲ for boost; ▼ stacks for penalty) keyed off magnitude. VoiceOver still announces the exact percentage.

Apple Watch: multiplicative engine on the wrist. Score is color-coded by quality bracket, the top two contributions show as inline pills, and a presence-warning takes over the score area when a species is out of range for your location.

Apple Watch: new Conditions tab. Air temp, wind, pressure trend, moon phase, sunrise, and sunset, all from data your phone already has.

Apple Watch: tap to dig in. Tap the score to see every contribution and the full conditions block. Tap the species to swap targets — the picker is limited to the species you've marked visible on the iPhone, and the new score lands on the wrist as soon as the iPhone re-runs.

Watch UI cleanup. Dropped the wasted "MM" wordmark at the top of the score view. Dropped the redundant "Sunset in Xm" countdown line — the dedicated Sunset complication and the Conditions tab cover it.

Plus: species-dropdown fix on the recommendation screen, faster snapshot push to the watch, and a sweep of smaller polish from the multiplicative-engine audit.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-05-03

Customize which species you see: drag to reorder or hide species in More → Settings → Species visibility. The species picker now follows your order instead of auto-grouping favorites.

Offline mode: toggle in More → Settings to skip weather and water fetches in low-coverage areas. The app falls back to cached conditions instead of timing out, and shows a clear banner so you know what you're looking at.

Quick-map glance: tap the new map button on the recommendation screen to see where you are relative to your saved spots, without navigating away.

Light, dark, or follow-the-system theme picker in More → Settings.

More tab cleaned up: Settings section, Plan-a-trip CTA when you have no trips planned, smoother return-to-root navigation.

Smaller polish: clearer "matches" labels on lure suggestions, faster recommendation loads, broader Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support across charts and the score ring.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-04-29

Mark spots and log catches/misses straight from your Apple Watch — they sync to your phone next time you open the app.

New pin navigator: drop pins inside any saved spot and follow a compass + distance readout to each one (mirrors to your watch).

Trip-screen sections now collapse and remember your layout. Cleaner More menu.

Plus a privacy manifest update for the latest App Review requirements.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-04-26

lan ahead — pick a date and time up to 10 days out and we'll score the bite using the actual forecast. Two new salmon species (Coho and Chinook), 15 new fish ID photos, and 5 more states of fishing regulations (IN, IL, MD, TN, NC). Field Tools now tells you when to start packing up before sunset, and the home screen "Start fishing" tap goes straight to your recommendation.

Also: faster home screen on cold start, smarter habitat scoring (no more salmon recommendations on backyard ponds), and better offline behavior throughout.
