### 3/5 — Lacking instructions

*2024-01-26, version 3.6.0*

I like it so far but am troubled by how often I need to use “shift” to select multiple items or folders. I can’t figure out how to do this.

### 3/5 — Frustrating Dropped Connections

*2023-07-24, version 3.5.7*

The connection between the app on my iPad and the Mobile Mouse server on my Mac Mini is frequently interrupted for a few minutes. This often occurs when selecting a menu item in Safari, such as quit. This has been true through recent updates, whereas the app performed flawlessly in the past. A shame.

### 4/5 — Great

*2023-06-23, version 3.5.7*

I’m a quadriplegic and use my ipad as a keyboard and mouse. I have tried all the mouse and keyboard options available and this is one of the best. Fast and responsive and enables you to drag and drop. Not perfect but one of my most used apps regardless.
Its biggest glitch at the moment is that it can freeze and disconnect when I access a dropdown window. I will contact the developer and hopefully they can fix this.
Overall a great app that does what it was designed to do.

### 2/5 — Buggy Abandonware

*2023-03-15, version 3.5.7*

This app (or at least its macOS remote receiver) crashes a few times a day. The developer hasn’t provided any updates in a couple of years; it’s pretty much abandonware at this point. Might be acceptable if you were able to get it for free and don’t mind having to manually relaunch the desktop app every so often, but I wouldn’t recommend paying for it.

### 2/5 — This used to be great.

*2022-12-29, version 3.5.7*

I used to love this, but it’s now dead.

The peer to peer Bluetooth and hardwire connection have not worked at all. I went out and got a Magic Trackpad at the apple store because it wouldn’t work. The sever probably has nothing to do with it, but I solved it by getting a trackpad. If you update it to work I’ll keep using it since I have a phone etc. I couldn’t handle the constant freezing and crashing.

I purchased this thinking if I use it peer to peer and hardwired I’ll have no problem. I was wrong. iTunes is no more so I don’t know why you still have that as a selling point.
Fix it or hand it off to someone that will. It’s a shame such a good piece of software is going to go to waste.

Don’t bother trying to look for something better than physical hardware touchpads because it’s night and day.

### 4/5 — Wish it supported split screen

*2020-05-02, version 3.5.4*

I think this is a great app. A bit disappointed that it doesn't support split screen.

### 3/5 — Has great potential

*2020-02-14, version 3.5.4*

I have had this app for some time. The only problems I have are 1) Once I bring up the keyboard to type something, I have to try around six or seven times to close the keyboard. And 2) keyboard keys in Mobile Mouse have no effect in apps on my Mac while connected. Please can you the developers suggest how to fix these issues?

### 4/5 — Number pad

*2019-03-14, version 3.5.3*

Great app. Would like to add a feature request to allow the number pad to be movable. Right handed users would have easier input if the number pad could move to the bottom left of the display. Either that or allow the pad to render at full screen. I crunch a lot of numbers for inventory and if this feature was added, I’d bump up the rating to 5 stars.

### 4/5 — Crashes, Now fixed!

*2018-11-30, version 3.5.2*

I purchased this app specifically for the presenter pro features. Every time I try to access the pro features the app crashes. This works great on iPhone but this app needs an update. Please fix or refund!

Update: the bug that prevented the pro option has been fixed. Add split screen support will be 5 stars. I use this app frequently! Thanks.

### 4/5 — Needs split screen but good app

*2018-10-17, version 3.5.1*

Split screen support would make this a 5star app. As well as locking the number keys to the side so it doesn’t disappear when you you use the mouse.

### 4/5 — This is great! Try to fix Chinese handwriting input

*2018-08-21, version 3.5.0*

Works really well!

The only thing is, when I use the Chinese handwriting input keyboard for iOS, the mobile mouse iOS app crashes after a couple characters have been written. I write a few characters, and those get sent to the computer fine, and then the app crashes.

Please fix this! Try to make Chinese handwriting input more stable within the app so that this app can send handwritten output to the computer without crashing!

Also, could it be possible to add an option that can toggle auto input for the Chinese handwriting keyboard? What I mean is, a few seconds after the character is written, the first option is automatically chosen and inputted. Sometimes I would like for there to be infinite time for me to choose the right option, like how the keyboard works on iOS devices.

If this is fixed, it will certainly be a 5-star app!

### 4/5 — Great, but…

*2018-08-12, version 3.5.0*

Everything it does, it does very well. I just would love to see an option for a full screen of large hot key icons when working in a program with that set up. For example, there are options for 8 hot keys for each program and I’d love to see that as just a full screen with 8 huge buttons with customizable icons. I’d pay extra for this and bump up a star

### 4/5 — Works great

*2018-07-15, version 3.3.2*

Works great with my home theatre pc but, it is reliant on a user account being logged in to connect the app to the iPad!
WISH LIST: To be able to use the app at logon screen.

### 4/5 — Could add a way to somehow follow the curser

*2018-05-27, version 3.3.2*

Like with the mouse for my computer it follows the pointer on screen while zoomed in I really hope they add that ability

### 3/5 — No multi-tasking

*2018-05-16, version 3.3.2*

You can’t multitask with Mobile Mouse. If you want to go back-and-forth between mobile mouse and another app, every time you go back to Mobile Mouse it has to re-connect, and it doesn’t always re-connect right away, wi-fi or usb, extremely frustrating. I’m also frustrated that there isn’t a full keyboard with keypad option..the keyboard and keypad can only be brought up separately.

### 1/5 — WAS great until iOS 11

*2018-03-21, version 3.3.2*

Since the iOS 11 update, the keyboard with MobileMouse has been very problematic. I have a newer 12inch iPad Pro so it shouldn’t be the hardware. A lot of keys just don’t work, especially quotations and other punctuation when using the MM keyboard to type on my Win10 PC. It also can’t copy and paste URLs anymore without jumbling it all up.
I’ll give it 5 stars once this has been fixed but I doubt it will be. iOS 11 had been out a while now...

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This used to be one of my favorite apps

*2025-12-01, version 3.6.1*

I use this app to remote into my desktop at work and at home. I am a C6-7 tetraplegic and using this app on my iPad used to make my work so much easier. It is not worked for over a year so I am done with it. I can’t think of anything they can do to change my opinion other than updated so that it actually works again. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Wildly Inconsistent on PC, don’t bother

*2024-07-04, version 3.6.0*

The first time I downloaded and installed it, it worked great, connected easily. But other times it doesn’t connect at all, no matter how many times I try, even after going through all of their recommended troubleshooting procedures. When it does connect I have no idea why, nor do I have any idea why it doesn’t sometimes. I do note this relies on Bonjour, an Apple product that does not always work with PCs well. I don’t think they’ve updated their server software in a long time either, and I suspect their product has difficulty with Google Nest WiFi.

Either way, I can’t recommend it due to it’s inconsistency and the failure of their troubleshooting procedures when there is a problem.

Google has a Remote Desktop webpage that seems to work every time (and is free), so if all you want is some basic remote control of your PC, use that. Avoid this and avoid a lot of frustration.

### 1/5 — Usb does not work

*2021-09-24, version 3.5.7*

Bought this version, then bought the additional in-app purchase for usb connection. I meet the min requirements and can confirm this feature does not work.

### 1/5 — Rip-off

*2021-08-20, version 3.5.7*

Not too bad. Same price as the version that works cross platform though. The Other product by this dev can be used on phone and IPAD. This is just IPAD but the same app . TRASH

### 1/5 — Worse than disappointing

*2021-03-25, version 3.5.7*

Update: don’t use an app before into the developers activity...

I’ve tried to use this at the most premium level for a decade. It just gets harder to make it work. Every time starts with an update on both devices followed by a IT session to get it functional.
I still have to use my MacBook for essential functions. So what’s the point of it? This last one don’t work at all. I bought this around ten years ago to make things easier as it promised.... We’ve been paying to be lab rats the entire time. This app has never achieved what it set out (and claimed) to do. I know it’s hard as a third party provider.. that’s why you don’t launch something until you got it right..

### 1/5 — Cursor does not move on my PC

*2020-09-05, version 3.5.7*

I bought this for apple pencil recognition to Onenote drawing on my PC. But as I move my finger or Apple pencil on my iPad, the big cursor or original cursor on my PC does not move accordingly. Other things are okay, such as volume up, page skipping of power point presentation.

### 1/5 — Huge lag renders this app pointless

*2020-03-22, version 3.5.4*

Don’t waste your money. The actual mouse feature barely works.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2019-06-17, version 3.5.3*

Bought the iPhone , I pad versions..then they got me to pay more for the peer to peer within latter.....and never got any connection to my Mac..don’t buy !

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-01-17, version 3.5.2*

Lags and makes everything 10 times more difficult.

### 1/5 — Only works half the time.

*2019-01-01, version 3.5.2*

Well yeah, the title explains it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Just what I needed for my butterfly key problem!

*2021-11-10, version 3.5.7*

My butterfly keys collect dust, and this is the best solution I've found to either obsessively cleaning the gunk or returning my MacBook to Apple for repairs. If your butterfly key's spacebar is giving you problems and the warranty has ended, here's a simple solution. (You can also use this at the same time you're using your native keyboard, meaning you can use your iPad or iPhone whenever you get to that one key that's a problem if it's convenient for your problem (maybe a numeral or the return key, etc.)) I am madly pleased.

### 5/5 — The best of everything!

*2019-08-06, version 3.5.3*

Works great with iOS 12+. Works great with my 13 yo iMac. Has more features than I will ever need. Among the most valuable apps I have ever purchased.
If..if there was one thing I’d ask for it would be an exhaustive image map with nomenclature of the visible features on the pads. I still don’t know what those 5 tiny green lights (dots) are for. Or, the yellow arrows which I think are for scrolling.
Such a great app deserves a simple manual so buyers will appreciate all its features.

### 5/5 — Works as it should

*2018-07-07, version 3.3.2*

This app is very handy for a couple of things. I do not have a blu-ray player but I have a blu-ray reader attached to my mac. So I can play a blu-ray on my mac and stream it to the apple tv, and use this app to control playback. Also, my keyboard just died and this app on my iPad became my only keyboard until I bought a replacement. The customer support is excellent - super responsive!

### 5/5 — One of the best!

*2018-02-28, version 3.3.2*

I use this app to remote into my desktop at work and at home. I am a C6-7 tetraplegic and using this app on my iPad makes working so much easier. I don’t understand when people leave really negative ads. I’ve never had a problem connecting this to any computer. It has always worked like a gem!
My only wish would be that it had a “tab” button.

### 5/5 — Don't let negative ads fool you

*2017-09-28, version 3.3.2*

I set this baby up with 7 computers in under 30 minutes. Using it in a VR arcade to control each computer with an iPad. CAKE

One tip. Close out of the server (host app on computer) and restart it the very first time you start it up. For some reason the host doesn't work directly. After you do this the first time it works every time thereafter

### 5/5 — Won't connect

*2017-06-29, version 3.3.2*

After hours of searching I couldn't get the iPad to work with this. Although my iPhone works great with this I feel ripped off that I had to pay for another app to use my iPad and then it not work 😤

### 5/5 — Great every day keyboard and then some...

*2017-01-11, version 3.3.2*

I've been looking for a keyboard to use on my desktop as a couch keyboard. It works better than anything else I have used, even normal keyboards because of the touchscreen mouse. I don't need anything but this program. Strongly recommended.

### 5/5 — A game changing app!

*2017-01-07, version 3.3.2*

The moment I launched this little gem, I knew it was responsive, user friendly and broad in its features.

I was able to use this app to remove all the annoying hardware and wires on my desk (mouse, keyboard, phone chargers, iPad holder and graphics pad) and with this app I was able to replace all of these hardware with only a one minor (personal preference) change:

The icon that displays the keyboard being at the top right feels a little too small and cumbersome to access when you want quick access to the keyboard.
I'd like to see the icon at the bottom of the page maybe always showing at the bottom of one of the scroll arrows or as a shortcut (something like a triple tap on screen or swipe upwards?).

Aside rom the occasional lag (probably my end) and one freeze (probably my error), I think this is a game changing app. I love what it has done for my creative space - made more room for creativity and given me all the features I want in one device/app.

BRILLIANT! I've been telling all my friends!

### 5/5 — Indispensable

*2016-07-21, version 3.3.2*

I have loved this app and use it daily on both iPhone and iPad to control my Mac mini operating behind the TV. It is very well done on both platforms and is great value. I could also use this for controlling my MacBook Pro for demo/presentations etc

### 5/5 — Best phone mouse out there

*2016-05-06, version 3.3.2*

Gets the job done, and then some
