### 1/5 — Saves loads of time

*2023-05-05, version 3.15.0*

Edit: While this app reigned for many years, its functionality is now in the official CBP MPC app. Not a fan of the redirect to the Airside app, though can’t blame the business for trying to salvage its user base. Airside app might be more helpful when more states support digital ID representations.

Landed MSP today and walked straight to the CBP officer past a line of folks waiting for the machine. Quickest reentry yet! Had scanned my passport, taken a photo, and answered the questions prior to landing. The passport scan function was impressive at reading the small font code at the bottom of the passport identity page. 💯

### 1/5 — No longer supported

*2023-02-26, version 3.15.0*

App is no longer supported. Also lost faith when they said their partner was Rushmypassport- a company known for high fees, slow processing times, and bad customer service. Avoid both at all costs!

### 2/5 — False

*2023-02-24, version 3.15.0*

If the app is already downloaded, does not redirect you to the official CBP app, only it’s on Airside garbage app. Shame on the company.

### 1/5 — No longer works; redirects to some other app

*2023-02-14, version 3.15.0*

Also had paid upgrades to make filling in form faster which was sleazy for a government service. MPC is the better app; fills in your data with a passport scan.

### 1/5 — Zipped through

*2023-01-16, version 3.15.0*

Zipped through Customs. Then had to wait for luggage.

UPDATE: NO longer used by US Customs

### 1/5 — Complete waste of time!

*2023-01-08, version 3.15.0*

Unable to process. Over and over. Useless!

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2022-11-29, version 3.15.0*

Per their app:

CBP service no longer available
So sorry! CBP no longer allows any private mobile applications for the Mobile Passport Control program.

### 1/5 — Discriminated Against! Forced to use this

*2022-10-28, version 3.15.0*

At the airport they now have two lines- one that’s 10 miles long and would take all day to get through, and then another line for all the sheeple dummies that download this app and scan their face and sign away their first born child just so they can avoid the inconvenient 10 mile long line and get through the airport in a reasonable amount of time. Screw Off I’m never flying again and i am deleting your terrible tyrannical app that is forced on people via inconvenience and frustration. Shame on you

### 1/5 — Stop working

*2022-10-23, version 3.15.0*

This app doesn’t provide any service.

### 1/5 — Service No Longer Available

*2022-10-13, version 3.15.0*

This App will download but immediately informs you that CBP no longer accepts it.

### 1/5 — No longer functional

*2022-09-29, version 3.15.0*

It's not the developer's fault, but this no longer works. Don't download.

### 1/5 — No longer functional

*2022-09-17, version 3.15.0*

Redirects to another app

### 1/5 — Now zero usefulness

*2022-08-13, version 3.15.0*

Update: this app no longer does anything except advertise another (pointless) app called Airside. DELETED.

A great initiative by CBP but the app is developed by a private third party. Initially 100% free, it is now subject to a $14.95 subscription fee. That’s understandable from a profit-making viewpoint, but that fee is really excessive compared to the value it provides. There is still a free version but it is almost useless: it only stores your passport information for 4 hours, which is less than most international flights’ duration. The app urges you to “be prepared and enter your passport information before leaving” but that’s rather misleading. Greed has spoiled a good thing.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-08-02, version 3.15.0*

This app no longer functions. It’s only feature was to speed up customs and they removed that.

### 1/5 — Illegitimate app

*2022-07-16, version 3.15.0*

The app is not recognized by the US CBP. It’s a trash app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2026-06-11, version 3.15.0*

This app apparently no longer works and has had his functionality moved over to another app. Why they didn’t just include that in this app I don’t know..

### 1/5 — Fast process

*2025-06-14, version 3.15.0*

It is no longer available to use. CBP does not support mobile passport anymore.

### 1/5 — Total Verification Fail

*2024-04-22, version 3.15.0*

Chip reader technology totally failed. Useless.

### 1/5 — Awful !

*2024-04-08, version 3.15.0*

I liked Mobile Passport and never had issues loading my information or using the app.
This app took a lot of effort to add my passport and will not load/link my drivers license - even after at least 10 attempts.

### 1/5 — This app needs to die a speedy death

*2024-03-13, version 3.15.0*

First the developer made a useful app and then tricked people in to using it effectively only after paying $15/month. Thankfully CBP took over and made this app completely irrelevant. Now the developer is trying to be relevant by offering to store your ID that the airline already stores. Delete this app and keep your privacy from this unsavory developer. Developer: disappear yourself and the world will be a better place.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work app should be taken down

*2023-12-09, version 3.15.0*

Fake

### 1/5 — App is basically of no use & antiquated

*2023-12-07, version 3.15.0*

The best I can tell now (11/2023) is that this App is basically non-applicable as all private Apps related to customs and country reentry are superseded by the Federal App, Mobile Passport Control. Remove all the extra language and just say it plain and simple.

### 1/5 — Don’t download doesn’t work

*2023-09-24, version 3.15.0*

They literally say it doesn’t work AFTER downloading it. False advertising

### 1/5 — Take Chicago O’Hare off your list

*2023-09-13, version 3.15.0*

Arrived to Chicago on Sept.12. No one knew anything about MPC. Had to join a common line on passport control. Missed our connection. Misleading and very frustrating.

### 1/5 — No longer supported or used in USA

*2023-05-11, version 3.15.0*

App no longer worth having because it’s not valid for entry or shortened lines.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Was great until .gov took over

*2024-02-18, version 3.15.0*

Thanks to the developers who made what was a very useful free app that saved me many hours waiting on long lines after long intl flights. It had worked so well, the gov had to take over so they could f it up.

### 5/5 — great app

*2023-09-03, version 3.15.0*

ot the airport has it this is better than gobal entry because its free

### 5/5 — SHORT LINE

*2023-06-20, version 3.15.0*

Some other commenters said the opposite, but for my family we skipped the MASSIVE line at the passport check in Atlanta by using MPC. We went to a separate line and there were only 3 people in it, instead of 500 in the regular line. I’m sure it saved us over an hour!

### 5/5 — First Use Outstanding!

*2023-01-07, version 3.15.0*

I recently used MPC at LAX after a trip to Europe. It worked flawlessly and expedited our processing through customs. The line for US citizens was very long but we were directed to the Global Entry/MPC line. There was no one in that line! We proceeded to the agent, scanned our QR code, and presented our passports. We were then cleared in less than a minute. Great first time experience!

### 5/5 — Came in from italy

*2022-07-06, version 3.15.0*

As a travel agent with Heart Set On Travel, I always recommend this service to my clients for easy access back into the country. I recently used it as I entered through Philly, used the same line as Global entry and breezed right in. For a free app, why not have it, it is nice to not have to fill out paperwork & get a short cut! Highly recommended you have nothing to loose.

### 5/5 — Great Time Saver

*2022-05-16, version 3.14.0*

Pre loaded with personal passport information for the primary and family before a recent trip, this was a very easy and effective tool for bypassing the queue at passport control.
Landed in Atlanta and answered the half dozen questions & snapped the required selfies on the walk from the airplane. Submitted and was able to use dedicated line assigned to MPC users (we were the only people in the ‘line’).
Simply scanned QR codes and handed over our passports for a few moments; and, the process was complete.

### 5/5 — Time saver!!

*2022-02-01, version 3.14.0*

We skipped the entire crowd, (2-3 planes at same time).
To a line of 4
Easy to use
Thanks

### 5/5 — Great improvements

*2022-02-01, version 3.13.0*

Great improvements

### 5/5 — Time saved loved it!!!

*2022-02-01, version 3.13.0*

It was awesome

### 5/5 — Mobile passport

*2022-02-01, version 3.13.0*

Mobile passport worked perfectly and saved us quite a bit of time.
