### 1/5 — Painful

*2010-10-19, version 0*

The app is a pain to use. All files have to be loaded into their program for showing. Slides do not transition smooth and loss of functionality is aggravating. Not a true screen to screen control.

### 1/5 — I was conned!

*2010-10-04, version 0*

If only I could get my money back. :-(

Share the iPad screen?.... Nope!
I wasn't wanting to display just the Mobile Presenter screen, but what was on the screen when I was running another app.

Print documents?... not really
You can print stuff that you've downloaded from the web, but not stuff created on the iPad, Doh! If I've exported it to the web I can print from there why bring it back to print from the iPad?

All in all this is my most disappointing iPad purchase ever.

Frustrating.

STEER CLEAR if you want to do either of the two things I was expecting from the rather inflated and ambiguous Apple Store description.

### 1/5 — Very Misleading in the abilities of the screen sharing

*2010-10-03, version 0*

I was able to install the application. However, it does not actually project the screen of my IPad on my computer. It only presents the application home screen. This was very disappointing. Apple - I think this application is deceptive and should be dropped. I would like a refund of my purchase.

Every time i left the home screen - it said it was downloading images but only a white screen appeared. That is soooo wrong.

### 1/5 — Lost 5

*2010-09-09, version 0*

They let you know you can share the screen to a Mac but it's only images and docs you save to the program. Delete. I feel cheated.

### 1/5 — Great potential, poor payoff

*2010-05-19, version 0*

This app says it does great things...almost too good to be true! Turns out, that's the case.

I can view my iPad screen from a browser on my computer, but only for a second (before there's an error). I can print from it, but only the first page of a multi-page document came out.

I hope updates help fix these problems. I would love an app that did everything this one claims to do.

### 1/5 — After hours searching, this was the worst I could've bought

*2012-06-15, version 3.2*

It ain't worthy to spend even $0.99. The graphic interface is very simple and wacky. I don't recommend it.

### 1/5 — Dup app

*2012-02-25, version 3.2*

Same as replicate pro by same developer...

### 1/5 — It works, but not as expected...

*2012-02-09, version 3.2*

It is possible to view pages **within** the application on another device (such as a browser on you PC or Mac). Nowhere does the publisher indicate that you **cannot** view any other application.

Should I be surprised? In retrospect... No. It is IOS which allows only one app to run at a time, so that is not the fault of the publisher. Am I happy that I bought it? No, because I need to view -other-apps on my PC, not only this app.

Would this app be useful to you? Perhaps yes! One can, for example, access a presentation (locally or in DropBox or elsewhere), view it within the app and thus the presentation can be shared with any other local device. Note that the second device (my laptop or anything else with a browser) must be on the same LAN.

Is the publisher's description of the product fully adequate? No... They need a writer, able to communicate the strengths and limitations of the app so that innocent buyers like me don end up giving only one star to a product that does do something useful... Just not what I expected.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2011-07-20, version 2.5*

Basic and doesn't do anything good. Screen share is horrible and replicates a full iPad not just the screen. Stupid waste of money.

### 1/5 — does not share screen as advertised

*2011-04-30*

This application is not as advertised. You can only share the screen from your Mac/PC while your device is running this application. As soon as you leave this app on your iPad the screen sharing stops on your Mac/Pc.

The app only allows you to view documents you upload into a file library on your device.

This application has very limited application and I'm disappointed.

Good Luck

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2011-03-17, version 2.5*

Only shares data and screen that is in the app, items created in pages are not accessible. The screen sharing is just of the app, so if you are wanting to deliver a demo or presentation, don't bother with this app.

### 1/5 — Not at all as I was expecting...

*2011-03-02, version 2.5*

Yeah so this is the same app as Replicate Pro and it still doesn't share your screen as you think it should. So now I have 11 dollars worth of useless software..

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2011-02-06, version 2.5*

Only shares your screen from this app with limited functions. Do not expect to open any other apps and see them on another device. I feel ripped off. Will never buy another app from this developer.

### 1/5 — Poorly described

*2010-12-05, version 0*

What I thought I was getting was something that would broadcast the iPad screen; however, it only broadcasts the screen when you are of the app, and broadcasting stops as soon as you leave the app, so not very useful all. The description of the features of this app needs to change, it's deceptive the way it is now.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works well

*2012-06-27, version 3.2*

Although a little tricky, this is the ONLY app that lets you project onto a computer and transmit the images via iChat. Saved $$$$ instead of getting meeting software!

### 5/5 — Excellent support and works great

*2010-08-27, version 0*

I wish every developer offered support at this level. Purchased for the screen sharing functions, which work incredibly well. Will be a very useful tool for presentations.

### 4/5 — Wireless screen sharing

*2011-10-21, version 2.7*

Strengths: As tested with an iMac desktop it works pretty effectively, doesn't require any software on the desktop and costs $4.99

Weaknesses: It does require developing some new work flows but can do almost everything I have asked it to. Unfortunately the whiteboard function only allows you to work with images (jpeg etc.) so I can't mark up a PDF in class with the highlighter, or switch to other apps after connecting. Screen update speed is reasonable but not perfect. The biggest pain is that the shared screen appears complete with a simulated iPad border frame. This would be great if you are teaching how to use the iPad but makes the technology not very subtle otherwise. The iPad border can be hidden however if you are willing to play with the zoom on the desktop

### 4/5 — Mobile Presenter

*2011-07-05, version 2.5*

It's good for holding presentations and spread sheets.intermittent loss of data on some sheets and unable to activate printer. Serves my purpose will continue to use

### 4/5 — Mobile presenter

*2010-04-26, version 0*

Be careful when using this app. You must follow instructions, but then is this ever a powerhouse. I am a physician and I download medical articles. I can now store them for future use and for printing.
What a great app. It's filled with many utilities.

### 3/5 — Not an iPad screen sharer

*2011-10-30, version 2.7*

Not quite what I expected. It seems to only share objects from within the app e.g the whiteboard or a previously loaded file e.g. A PowerPoint slide show.

It does not share the screen of any other apps or the iPad apps screens.

Could still be useful.

### 3/5 — J Keys

*2011-01-10, version 2.5*

I bought this app for it's presentation capabilities. At first I found it to be very clunky with poor response on the display computer and at times seemed to be hung completely. When it worked though, it worked pretty well. A little data sniffing showed that the issues were more network than application but were present on any wi-fi networks I tried.

I changed my approach and set up a simple network with just the iPad and a laptop connecting to an inexpensive stand alone router. With no Internet connection and no other computers connected to the router, the behavior improved remarkably. There is a one to two second delay between the iPad and the display computer but this set up is working well for me.

I would love to see some speed improvements but I love the white board addition and the ability to annotate documents loaded onto the whiteboard in jpg format while presenting. I look forward to improvements in future releases.

The improvement I would like to see would be the ability to switch back and forth between documents without the documents going back to the beginning. I would also like smoother response to marking on the white board.

### 2/5 — Misleading and confusing

*2011-11-18, version 2.7*

I thought this app would allow me to show on another computer whatever was going on with my iPad. It lets you show documents you have loaded into the app - no more. You can't view any other app from the connected computer. I also though the app was unnecessarily complicated. The interface is not as intuitive as it could be, and the instructions are far too wordy. They need to re-conceptualize this thing, make it less complex, and advertise what it does more clearly.

### 2/5 — Works with restrictions

*2011-06-03, version 2.5*

I was searching for an App whith that I could present wirelessly from my iPad to a PC (that is connected to a beamer).
In principle this App here does this. Documents from inside this App can be presented on the PC via browser.
Restrictions are: 1. When transfering ppt files some characters (special characters) are converted. 2. There is no paging function for sildes or pages, so with the scrolling it is very hard to hit exactly then next page or slide, you always will see some parts of the next or previous page or slide. 3. An iPad frame is visible around the presented document.
In summary I can use it to present how websites look on the iPad, but I cannot really use it for professional business presentation purposes.
Update it to get rid of the iPad fram and provide a good paging function and I will try again.

### 2/5 — Too slow, poor doc browser.

*2010-06-02, version 0*

The server is too slow to send the refresh to the client pc when sharing with pc. Also could really do with a next page button on the document browser so you can present smoothly.

Great idea just needs a little more work to be fit for production purposes. I bought as in wanted to use for a corporate presentation where I could walk around the room and present but not confident this will hold up at the moment so will look for alternatives or hope for updates.

I am really looking for an app that allows whole device access to share the screen. So really the ability to use the iPad normally but have the screen wirelessly beamed to a pc hooked up to a projector. Not sure if the current apis allow this though.
