## What is Mobile Security Professional?

LenelS2's Mobile Security Professional allows both management and staff to operate their NetBox access control and video management systems from anywhere. Users can switch between separate NetBox systems or partitions directly in the app. Mobile Security Professional is administered from a central location, and all actions are instantly displayed at the command center.
 
With Mobile Security Professional, mobile staff can review surveillance video, monitor events and alarms in real time and manage evacuations. Cameras are accessible on demand, displaying high-quality, high frame rate video. Video snapshots can be shared as needed. In response to event activity, staff is able to take immediate action such as remotely opening related doors and identifying a person of interest in video. Mustering for evacuations is effortless, with multiple mustering points coordinated right on the screen. Mobile Security Professional dramatically improves productivity, decision making and response time.

This app has been working great for my business for multiple years. However about a week ago, around the time of the newest version patch. I am no longer able to connect to my partition…..

This problem has been fixed for me with the 1.4 update thank you very much

*Update*
They finally released version 1.4! It seems to have resolved the issue on iOS devices. We’ll see how long it lasts….. took almost 6mths. Interesting that where it says what’s been addressed in the update, that all they list is bug fixes and don’t say, we fixed what we broke. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused everyone.

This app has been one of the primary selling points for customers with an easy to use interface for controlling their doors remotely and being able to maintain security. The app has been broke since November of 2024. That was 5 months ago! Tech support just says it’s Apples issue! They tell me, “Just go buy an Android”. Now I’m losing customers to other competitors (PDK, Genetec, etc) Ever since Honeywell acquired Lenel they’ve been going downhill. 
Pretty sad that Lenel is willing to lose customers and revenue over an app they don’t care about fixing. This is ridiculous and to the point of our company looking to partner and become integrators with other access control products.

Version 1.3.9 of the App no longer works with iOS 18+. Multiple attempts to contact the developer and the VAR indicate that the developer is aware of the issue, but there’s no planned fix that has been communicated.

This app has been one of the primary selling points for customers with an easy to use interface for controlling their doors remotely and being able to maintain security. This app used to work and enable us to remotely view the security cameras and access the door lock. Some time back it stopped working. The company that installed and maintains the S2 security system has been pushing Lenel:S2 to fix the app to no avail. The Android version apparently still works.
