## What is MobileKey?

MobileKey app to manage DM status, access lists, remote openings, Key4Friends and reception of messages from event management.

-	Overview of door statuses (if DM cylinder used)
-	Remote openings
-	Sending of Key4Friends authorisations
-	Reading and display of access list
-	Reception of push messages from event management.
-	Use of touch ID for security-related actions (disable remote opening, Key4Friends, push messages)

The locking plan is fully managed on the MobileKey web application only, which you will find at www.my-mobilekey-com.


Extra information:

-	The app requires valid log-in data for a MobileKey locking system. You need to have a MobileKey account to be able to use the account. You can register free of charge at www.my-mobilekey-com.   
-	Your mobile device needs to have a stable Internet connection to operate the app, such as wireless LAN or 3/4G. 
-	Many functions are only available with the online add-on (SmartBridge).


Security takes top priority:

Your data is stored on an audited SimonsVoss server in Munich. You do not need to worry about data security and backups. We will do it for you and to a high standard.

-	Obtain all MobileKey components, such as keys and locks.
-	Set up the MobileKey components in the web application. You will find the precise procedure in the MobileKey manual. 
-	Programme the components.
-	Test the components.

### 1/5 — Used to work great, new version is buggy - doesn’t show locks any more

This used to be a great app if you are the owner of a SimonsVoss Mobile Key system with SmartBridge module. I could configure Key4friends with it and also perform remote door openings if necessary. With the new version this all stopped working. The web based app still works okay, but this iPhone App is useless in its current form. Shame.

Benutze diese Schließsystem seit vielen Jahren. Dazu hier mal meine Erfahrungen:
Alles was das Öffnen mit Transpondern betrifft, funktioniert tadellos. 
Alles was das Öffnen bzw. Entriegeln der Zylinder über die App also online angeht ist es eine Katastrophe, immer dahingehend gesehen, das der Preis so einer Anlage (hier ja nur 2 Schlösser) schon beträchtlich ist. 
Am Anfang lief alles recht gut und ohne große Probleme. Mittlerweile quält man sich seit längerem beim Online-Öffnen meist mit der Meldung „ Fernöffnung fehlgeschlagen“ herum.
Am Heimnetzwerk liegt es nicht, wurde sogar von der Firma, die alles verbaut und installiert hat, gecheckt und ausgeschlossen. Eine wirkliche Diagnose gibt es nicht. Lösung war stets Batterietausch an Zylindern und Transpondern, was ne Weile gut geht. Allerdings ist das äußerst nervig und ja auch nicht kostenlos. Angeblich sollten Batterien ja mindestens 10 Jahre ohne Tausch auskommen. Übrigens ist das auch an Pin-Code-Tastatur so. Hier die Meldung „Batterie schwach, detektiert an Pin-Code-Tastatur“.
Hab mittlerweile bestimmt schon den 
dritten, vierten Batterietausch hinter mir.
Dieses Jahr wurde ich und sicher auch andere Nutzer per Mail, glaub zweimal, informiert das an der Stabilisierung des Systems gearbeitet wird, nur gemerkt habe ich davon nix, null.
Mein Fazit, nimm immer einen Transponder mit, wenn die Schlösser verriegelt sind, ansonsten ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit hoch, sich auszusperren.

Warum funktioniert die Programmierfunktion bei meinem iPhone 16e bitte nicht und bei meinem Xiaomi Redmi 13 schon? Habe auch versucht hier das zu deinstallieren mit einer anderen Schließanlage mich anzumelden und auch noch mit dem iPhone eines Bekannten mich anzumelden. Gleiches Spiel… solange das bei iPhone nicht möglich ist die Schlosskonfiguration zu programmieren bringt mir die App so ziemlich nichts…

Für den Preis ist das System eine Zumutung. Die App funktioniert selten bis gar nicht. Ohne Transponder kein Zutritt zum Objekt, da die Bridge oft nicht erreichbar ist aufgrund von Serverproblemen.
Öffnen über BLE gibt es nicht. Ich bin absolut enttäuscht!

Die Anlage eines Keys geht immer nur für eine maximal Dauer von 6Monaten, soweit ok, wenn man diesen Schlüssel nach Ablauf des halben Jahres, oder alte abgelaufene Keys wieder mit einem neuen Geltungszeitraum aktivieren möchte funktioniert dies nicht !!! Wenn zuerst das neue Start Datum ausgewählt wird, kann man das Ablauf Datum nicht wählen, die Datumauswahk springt dann immer wiede zurück, zuerst das Abmaufdatum geht auch nicht, das springt dann immer wieder zurück, weil ja das  alte Startdatum noch drin ist und nicht mehr als ein halbes Jahr ausgewählt werden kann….der gesamte alte Schlüssel muss gelöscht werden, dann ist auch die email des Key Nutzers weg….wahnsinn wie kompliziert !!!! Und das obwohl der SimonsVoss Chef MobileKey so pushen will…..Eine funktionierende App wäre schonmal ein Anfang !!!!

Aufgrund der gehäuften Serverprobleme kann die Online Funktion nur selten genutzt werden. Man muss immer den Transponder dabei haben, ansonsten sperrt man sich aus. Zudem hat die Online Pincode Tastatur „nur“ eine Online Funktion und klappt Offline nicht - was bei Serverproblemen doppelt bitter ist… trotz mehrfacher Anfragen wird hier keine Abhilfe geschaffen bzw. das System entsprechend stabilisiert. Für den Preis des Gesamtsystems inakzeptabel und es entspricht nicht dem sonst so guten Ruf von SimonsVoss.

Die App erledigt ihren Job gut. Allerdings würde ich mir endlich mal eine Version für die Apple Watch wünschen (natürlich dann auch passend dazu die App Key4Friends auf die Watch).
Ich habe eine Watch mit eigener SIM Karte, sodass ich dann auch kein Handy in der Nähe benötigen würde…
Das ist jetzt schon mehrere Jahre gewünscht, und sollte bei einem solch hochpreisigen Produkt eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein.
Die Konkurrenz ist da deutlich weiter, und wenn Privatanwender zu den Kunden zählen sollen, ist das ein Muss heutzutage…
