At all. ( in Apple Dark Mode. ) I had to change my phone settings specifically for this app. Somebody’s tech technology sucks ### 2/5 — In light mode, what you type to sign in is invisible *2025-12-20, version 2.1.5* It’s extremely annoying to have an app that only lets you use the landscape orientation when you have a keyboard attached to your device it means you have to sit that device on its edge and use your keyboard sideways. If you only have one charging port, you have to sit your iPad on top of your charging cable I mean what happened to the PDR this is crazy. Also, the app would not communicate with my passwords app almost worthless. ### 5/5 — Useful *2025-11-17, version 2.1.5* No red tape, no subscriptions and a ton of the information I need as an ER nurse. Great work here 👏 ### 1/5 — Too difficult to read! *2025-05-12, version 2.1.5* Desperately needs an update to make the app more readable. Dark gray type on a black background is too hard on the eyes. If there’s a way to adjust the brightness, I haven’t found it. ### 1/5 — Doesn't seem to work *2025-04-23, version 2.1.5* I almost need to know the drug, to get it to find it. ### 5/5 — Great if you loved the PDR *2025-03-02, version 2.1.5* I read that the PDR text was discontinued around 2017, and after years of having it for reference, I was bummed. The later versions seem to had negative reviews, but I hadn’t actually bought the text in a few years. I think a lot of negative reviews of PDR information is that people want watered down material. I personally love that you always got pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Plus the information presented was detailed as a professional pamphlet that is included in literature. As far as I’m concerned, working in the field, this app provides the detail to truly know the drug if you’re unfamiliar. Compared to other free apps that simply give ridiculous info such as “antiemetic” and “used to treat nausea” with a basic dosing guideline of 4 or 8 mg every 6 hours as needed et cetera. This is providing you with detailed information about 5-HT3 antagonism, other chemotrigger explanations and various receptor interactions. I like detail and having free access at work on my phone is a plus. UPDATE-5/2/25 After some iOS updates the app is very glitchy when selecting a drug. Type dextro, select dextromethorphan and the app inserts dextrose. Sometimes it enters a new word that isn’t even a drug. I wish this app would receive an update that contains the same information but isn’t so poorly designed. Dare I say people would even pay a small fee. ### 2/5 — Unreadable when dark mode is iOS default *2024-05-23, version 2.1.3* The app would be fine if it could be read. It is not properly configured to display in dark mode. The text does not turn white on the dark background when the iOS dark mode is activated as the default display setting, so the app presents black text on a black background. The developers have had more than a year to respond to this issue, and they simply have not. ### 2/5 — No dark mode in UI *2024-05-14, version 2.1.3* No dark mode please add ### 3/5 — Great resource, but…. *2024-05-11, version 2.1.3* This app is a great resource, as a medical student I can testify that it is extremely useful. I have a few gripes though, the app can be pretty buggy at times and also there is no option to switch the app itself from dark to light mode, I have to switch the setting on my phone in order to be able to switch it on the app. The premade dark mode “integration” is awful, the information is written in dark grey on a black background so it is very difficult to read.
