### 1/5 — If your phone is dead how can you use the service?

*2022-06-19, version 1.0.3*

So if your phone is dead, how do you expect someone to be able to scan a QR code? Seems like nobody considered that when creating this product.

### 1/5 — DO NOT RENT

*2021-09-06, version 1.0.3*

I was in New Orleans and I rented a charger from one of the cubes I probably only use it for about an hour and a half two hours when I came back to return the queue the box I rented from was either turned off or it was unplugged I returned the charger still and I also emailed them letting them know of the situation and I hate return charger as you’re supposed to in the app so just as a precaution I took a picture and a video of me returning it and now they’re trying to charge me $50 saying I never returned it I held up my end of the deal and they’re still trying to charge me $50 if they charge me 50 they need to give me my charger that I supposedly am paying for do not rent it’s a rip off because all they have to say is you didn’t return it and then they charge you

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage service

*2024-10-07*

Tried to rent one and there were about half in the machine. App said there weren’t any available. The machine also looked nasty. No care for their product or customers.

### 1/5 — Just find a outlet

*2024-06-24*

I was in port authority in Manhattan the only reason I got this was bc they decided to block all the outlets in port authority and this company was probably behind it

### 1/5 — Garbage App

*2024-06-16*

Have to use the local WiFi. Which is spotty. Will not connect on 5g. How is that even a thing? Hope I can return it, my battery went nearly dead trying to rent it’

### 1/5 — The most unintuitive kiosk service I have ever seen

*2023-09-17*

Before I can even get to the issues I had trying to rent the power bank, I’d like to point out that if someone is looking for a power bank then there is a solid chance that their phone will be dead so maybe having your kiosk setup to actually rent directly from the machine would be smart. Even when I was able to access the app to rent a power bank, I was repeatedly told that there were no power banks available even though I was staring at 4 fully charged power banks ready in the machine. So yeah overall just sort of useless and dysfunctional.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2023-05-10*

Solid business model.

I’m bars where people’s phones are dying. Card wouldn’t authorise. No ApplePay.

Can’t really make any money if you don’t have a solid payment system.

Bye. Never again.

### 1/5 — The most counterintuitive system ever

*2023-04-24*

My phone was dying and I desperately need to charge my phone at Union Station in Chicago. I wasted the rest of my battery trying to download the app and scanning a QR code before my phone died and I could not rent a charge. Mother cornflakes what a dumb system. Hopefully Union Station gets ride of this dumb product.

### 1/5 — Do not use at shedd in Chicago

*2023-01-28, version 1.0.7*

Doesn’t work at all. It’ll do that thing where it looks like it’s charging and then stop after 1 sec and not even go up 1% !!!!!! Rip off!!!!! Tbh it’s only 2$ so I was ready to risk that much

### 1/5 — doesnt make sense and doesnt work

*2023-01-10, version 1.0.6*

i can't speak to the actual charging aspect. but you have to download the app to charge your phone. which, if your phone is dying may not be possible! anyway, i tried to use it but the app wouldn't work or load. i'd get as far as the 'sign up' page and then the app would just show a blank blue screen. nothing! my phone would've died trying to rent the charger. finally just walked halfway across the station and found an outlet.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2022-12-14, version 1.0.6*

I downloaded the app, but it will not scan to let me rent a charger. (I’m in the Ochsner Baptist ER.)

### 1/5 — It’s a ripoff.

*2022-10-17, version 1.0.6*

Paid to use and once I plugged in, I kept getting a message that my charging point had moisture and it would not charge. Complete waste of money.

### 5/5 — Worked great

*2023-01-30, version 1.0.7*

I rented one at the train station and it fully charged my phone in a little over an hour. The app was easy to use. Well worth the $5.

### 5/5 — Worked great!

*2023-01-08, version 1.0.6*

Chicago Union Station kiosk - worked great and charged my phone to 100%… good option in a pinch.

### 5/5 — Worked really well

*2022-11-12, version 1.0.6*

Saved me while I was in NYC and my battery was almost dead. Got my iPhone 13 Pro Max from 7% to 73% and then it died. Overall not bad at all

### 5/5 — Great product!

*2020-12-10, version 1.0*

I use them often. Hopefully they will come to Austin, TX soon.

### 5/5 — The perfect app for busy businessmen

*2020-12-08, version 1.0*

I was on my way to a merger and noticed my battery was low. Without my phone I wouldn’t be able to load the PowerPoint. The future of my hedge fund rested on me charging my phone quickly. I fired up the MQ app and found a kiosk one block away. I was able to rent a Qube and, long story short, we beat Q4 projections and I was able to buy my Dad two matching limousines.

### 4/5 — It worked

*2023-03-10*

App got stuck trying to rent a cube twice: first time scanning QR code, second time when attempting to pay.

But third time it worked.
