Novarad’s MobileRad® Radiologist Viewer is an iPad application allowing physicians to view patient images and reports. The app allows them to window level, compare, invert, rapid scroll, zoom, pan, and measure images from a study. MobileRad is now FDA-cleared for diagnostic use with exception of mammography. Radiologists can use the MobileRad app for diagnosis, consultations in patient rooms, second opinion consultations, reviewing studies and reports from multiple locations, etc. Referring Physicians can also download the MobileRad app for consultation and reviewing purposes. MobileRad is to be used in conjunction with Novarad NovaPACS® software only and requires connection to a NovaPACS server. Not yet optimized for this iPad however (no full screen) and doesn’t look like it’s been updated in a while. However this is nowhere near the functionality of the NovaWeb Diagnostic Viewer.
