It’s not exactly intuitive but I do manage to get the lights to turn off and on. But as far as programming goes I’m lost. I’m lucky that someone who knew more then I know programmed my lights. ### 4/5 — Great App and Awesome Customer Service *2023-09-01, version 4.17* I have been using this app for 6+ years and I do love the interface. The customer service is outstanding. My yearly renewal was up and I had switched emails and the subscription via PayPal; my payment was credited to the old email account; this resulted in my account going inactive. There are two sides to a 50amp breaker. Really need to be able to associate all the circuits and then send an accounting to the tenant. It stands alone; there is nothing even close in other options. The Factory tech support is absolutely the best. I’ve been using this APP for some 10 years, and it just continues to grow in features and capabilities. Had a problem with a new D-Link camera that didn't seem to want to show up. Support responded quickly and resolved the issue. Also just found the Dynamic DNS feature that’s built in. Took some experimenting to get my insteon camera to show up. Actually couldn't get the second one to work into I cloned the first one and then changed the address and port. It's still hit or miss whether it will work or not but it is at the limit of my wireless network. The pan and tilt doesn't work at all for my insteon cameras. They told me to delete and reinstall the app. I have about four customers on this app that I look after. And it’s getting annoying now that they have not tried to look after this. Not with MobiLinc. New features are packaged in a completely new product that you have to pay a lot more for. Worse yet their current business model is a exorbitantly priced subscription plan. So I have to stick with a frustrating inferior product or pay through the nose for a marginally better product ### 1/5 — Intentionally put hurdles in place to encourage you to subscribe *2019-02-10, version 4.17* It works great until your up address changes. If that happens, the app does all sorts of things to make it difficult to manually change the IP address and “encourage “ you to subscribe to their service. ### 1/5 — What did I just buy? *2018-12-02, version 4.17* $20 for something that does not work at all. First comes up on my iPad looking like it was designed for a small phone screen. Second does not find any controller. Does not appear to even look for one. I see nothing in settings to look for one. Third, where is the “Free Trial Available” that their card inserted in my iSY994iZW box proclaims? Refund works how? ### 1/5 — Worst information ever *2018-09-23, version 4.16* After paying nearly $50 for the app then paying another $10 to get access to IP cams, and having to pay another $50 to get another plugin and another $140 to get another controller that did not even come with a power supply or network cable to connect to the PLM for Insteon. This is truly the worst app and device combination I have ever seen. Having to pay out for all these little bits of the puzzle where every manufacturer puts all this in a single bundle with complete control for less than the price of a single controller is ridiculous. And then forcing the user to also pay for a subscription to their own devices is just ludacris and sounds like something the we want to control all companies like Apple and Microsoft. ### 1/5 — Lost status for devices and scenes *2018-03-25, version 4.15* App no longer Correctly reads existing status for devices and scenes (Isy 994). No issues connecting, synching or delete/add, finds no problem but no longer can properly show the existing status. You can still turn on and off but as it were you are in the dark as to which devices need to be turned off for example. Worked fine for years. Frustrating. ### 1/5 — Wasted money without the free trial. *2018-03-14, version 4.15* Complicated mess, requires using a PC first to configure, with software that virus protection flags as dangerous, and that doesn't load on newer computers. It is supposed to have a free trial but I found no way to avoid paying 20$ price for this software, required to run the box, and its a lost cause. ### 1/5 — **Does not work with iOS 11** *2017-09-22, version 4.12* Although the app has a outdated compared to its competition it was pretty solid. However I just updated to iOS 11 and now the menus don’t work. Do not update your phone or you will not be able to control anything in your system. Kinda a big deal. If iOS 11 just came out I’d be more sympathetic but Apple released the beta version to developers MONTHS ago in June. For an app that people depend on and PAY for and literally controls entire homes this should have been caught and corrected by now. Note: Will revise review once the issue is fixed. **Developer response:** UPDATE: We found a workaround and Apple has approved v4.13 of MobiLinc. Please update to the latest as soon as this version is live in the app store. It can take 24-48 hours for the update to appear. My apologies for the inconvenience. This is a known bug in iOS 11 that Apple is working to fix. We've contributed to the bug report since beta 4 as well as many other developers impacted by the missing navigation bar in iOS 11. At this point we're waiting for Apple to fix the iOS 11 bug or to provide us workaround information to avoid the Navbar iOS 11 breaking bug. We are also investigating possible workarounds to the iOS 11 breaking bug. I'll update this response as soon as a fix is identified. It’s easy to set up and use, and has proven to be very reliable. The app developer has been very helpful and responsive the couple of times that I have needed support. There’s very little you can’t do with these gems, of course you can turn things on and off remotely but you can edit your scenes and programs right from the app. Apps are solid as a rock from a programming standpoint. But the best part is, if you happen to run into issue you can’t solve, their Tech Support is excellent. “Wes” is the man. I had an issue with an ISY994i I purchased used, and for the life of me couldn’t get it to work with Mobilinc. I emailed Wes and he stayed on it for days, until he was able to solve my issues. Great way to control lights,locks, thermostats and view cameras in one app. ### 5/5 — You will love this. *2021-11-05, version 4.17* Example what this App can do with the needed hardware. When I arrive at home at night it will open the correct garage door depending on what car I drive, turn the outside lights on, the porch light, the pool light and one light inside lights so I don’t enter the house in the dark. When the garage door closes all the light would automatically go out and in the mean time I would have turned on the lights in the house that I want. It’s the coolest thing ever and so welcoming. Wes, the developer is always ready to make suggestions and help if you don’t get something working at first. Highly recommend this App for the ISY and your home automation needs. P.S.
