To make things even worse there are so many network problems so you have to repeat entering forms. ### 1/5 — Extremely poor *2019-12-30* I don’t even know where to begin. This app has multiple issues: - User registration takes forever - Please explai. why do I have to provide an ID when I have my cellphone? It is unintuitive as I had to take guesses what ID format it is expecting. Then it finally accepted a US passport number, which I anyway don’t carry with me - so why?! - Well, payment is a nightmare... first it uses terminology that is not well understood internationally. Secondly, for payments it takes me to a third party site that is literally implemented as a web page I site the app. In the 21st century?! - The app repeatedly times out. Starting this morning the only option I had is to log out. Seriously, no offline ticket? Then I had to log out (again this was the only option on an otherwise blank screen), now I can’t log back in and use my ticket and the error message I get is “Network error occurred”. Very helpful, thank you. In the meantime my mobile banking app was perfectly happy to work from 4500 miles away. I have given up on this as now I can’t access my weekly ticket. Complete waste of time and $20. ### 1/5 — Prevents you from logging in sometimes and you get fined *2019-12-20, version 4.0* It says network error, although everything else works ### 1/5 — Scanning is buggy *2019-11-20, version 4.0* Have been using the app for some time now, and I experience at least 4-5 times a week some form of bug. Often after scanning the animation does not appear - even after multiple tries. The app sometimes fails to even load the ticket. Apple Pay still not available despite many people requesting it. Honestly the app feels like it’s barely in a beta stage. ### 1/5 — Not fit for purpose - get a resesign *2019-10-16, version 3.0* The app has a very confusing layout. There is a bunch of things that seem to be irrelevant. Why do I need my passport/drivings licence to buy a Daily ticket? Also the way “purchasing” is implemented... its total shambles. I found it very difficult to add a payment card and then pay, which is what the whole point of this app should be: making payments easier for customers. Not more difficult and confusing. Gets one star cause I found the app utter garbage and useless. ### 1/5 — Not useful for credit card holders *2019-09-25* With Debit as the only means of paying for tickets, this app is not going to work for me. Debit card information theft allows thieves to steal my bank account money. Erre le tudtam tölteni az alkalmazást - ami, utólag láttam, minimum követelményként ios 16-ot jelöl meg. A vásárlás menüpont alatt “Adatok betöltése sikertelen. A szerver nem elérhető.” hibaüzenetet kapom, ezután nem enged tovább. Regisztrálni lehetne, de ha “a szerver nem elérhető” és IOS 16 a minimum, akkor minek? Go directly to a BKK sale point or the BudapestGo app ### 1/5 — Bad app - does not work *2024-08-12* I thought I was all set after I registered and bought 24 hr pass and it showed scan button - but when scanned the code to validate it just hung up spinning - repeated tries, restarting app etc but could not make it work. I had pretty decent 5g connection through T-Mobile in Pecs Hungary - and other apps worked fine. This one though is a dud - hotel staff had not heard about this app - so I guess there are better apps to use. **Developer response:** Please contact customer service (ugyfelszolgalat@nmzrt.hu) if you continue to experience this issue. ### 1/5 — updated today, not working since *2024-08-01, version 13.0* It worked OK yesterday and this morning, though it wasn’t the easiest to use as it refused to save my card details. It even allowed me to use ApplePay sometimes though there was no pattern to when that particular method would be available. Then this pm it updated- and since then it won’t allow me to pay by card, or by Apple Pay, and I can’t even top up my balance. Contacted the bank, it works fine from their end. Makes me do plus trips to the regular ticket purchase places in town. The payment menu is a bit clunky but it was not too hard to use. The bus driver was familiar with the app and I had no problem using my app to pay for both myself and my husband. Well, my last ride in Budapest, I have a train to catch, I buy a ticket on the app. First it tells me Apple Pay doesn’t work. I start getting a credit card out, and by that time the Apple Pay has worked. Go down the M4 lift and validate my ticket, the app spins for minutes… I keep going to the platform and then the app crashes. I open the app and it says not validated. I approached an agent on the platform to explain and she says to go back upstairs and do it again. Nah.. I have a train to catch.
